'Vallecitos' is a luxury earthship house built in 2018 in Taos, NM. It's been featured on Netflix, international TV and social media, among the pages of Forbes and AirBnB magazine, and many others, yet it's been on the market for almost 2 yrs. 2bds, 2ba, asking $825K + $20mo. HOA fee. Let's take a look inside.

So, the typically long earthship garden that is usually inside the house, is separate here, and like a greenhouse decorated with bottles in the pretty turquoise walls.

Food grows out here- I see lettuce, aloe vera.

And, look at this- bananas. Or are they plantains?

I must say that the living room is nice, but the dining area is a little tight.

We've seen some pretty primitive earthships before, but this actually looks like a home with beamed ceilings and quality glass doors and windows.

A real kitchen and it's very pretty. Love the turquoise cabinets.

It even has a pantry and laundry room.

Very nice bath and what looks like a real flushing toilet, not a composter.

Beautiful tile sink.

The secondary bedroom is lovely. It looks like a child's room and has plenty storage for toys, games and books. A desk faces the garden window.

As we can see, the garden runs the whole length of the large "ship."

The primary bedroom is nice.

It opens to the garden area.

Pretty en-suite. I would need something on that window, though.

Out on the patio they have a sauna.

Natural Bridge / Coyote Creek Cave, Vallecito, CA

Went hiking on Monday to this beauty and wanted to share! It’s kind of a tough, rocky hike into a canyon, but so worth it to spend some time in this cave. The rock formations were so unique and the waterfalls sounded so lovely, this is truly a special spot ♡

millaray nace en el sur de argentina, más específicamente en la ciudad de bariloche, río negro. desde el inicio, siempre fueron ella y su madre contra el mundo, ya que figura paterna nunca existió y sus abuelos estaban radicados en la capital del país. infancia transcurrió de ensueño, al igual que adolescencia.

a los dieciocho se muda sola a la capital para estudiar, y un año después su madre plantea que irá a vivir al pequeño y olvidado pueblito en el cual residen sus abuelos desde su retiro, aquel que habían visitado tantas veces en las vacaciones : real del valle. sus abuelos ansiaban con vivir cerca de su hija una vez más, y el importante puesto de médica jefa de área que se abrió en el centro de salud era la oportunidad perfecta para la madre de mila.

años más tarde, tras considerar que sus días en la capital habían sido suficientes ( al menos por el momento ), millaray tomó la decisión de viajar a méxico también. ya conocedora del pueblo por las vacaciones que había pasado allí, encontraba en él un encanto especial, de ese que tanto llama su atención. es por eso que espíritu libre decide radicar, al menos por un tiempo, en “el vallecito”, como ella le llama. trabajo en el cine orión resulta ideal para quien gusta de la poca formalidad, y personajes que la rodean nutren su día a día en momentáneo hogar.

Started with a little highway riding, then uphill to El Rito - a depressed little town with a nice junior college campus. Spoke Spanish with lone, sad- store owner - unique NM Spanish. He said the jr. college only offers 6 classes!

Only restaurant closed. Funky house. Stopped at ranger station to find where we could expect ground water. Warned of rain.

Ran into a group including a Michigander, German, Brit (living in Canada) 2 teens.

Vallecitos Post Office for water.

Saw some wild horses and elk. Camped near the side of the road about 12 miles from Hopewell lake. German couple passed us by.

Interesting 1994 home is in the Jemez Forest in Jemez Springs, New Mexico. It is made of straw bale construction and a metal roof. The style is rustic industrial and includes a guest house and horse stable. 3bds, 3ba, $999K.

The first thing I noticed was the unique cement floor.

In the living room the fireplace looks like a vintage stone style that's been here for ages.

Ceilings throughout the home are corrugated aluminum with beams and 3/4 height walls.

The main living area consists of a kitchen, dining space and family room.

I didn't expect to see a $35,000 Aga stove in here.

There's a very large table built onto the kitchen island, but there's also a separate dining area.

Off the kitchen is nice big pantry.

The home has a 2nd level with a pretty wooden ceiling and 2 large asymmetrical columns.

This could be the primary bedroom with a seating area, plus access to the yard.

This is a large walk-in closet.

The en-suite is also very big.

Upstairs are the other rooms.

There are 2 quite spacious children's rooms up here. I really don't care much for the corrugated ceilings throughout the entire home.

Then downstairs there's a semi-finished basement.

The guest house is a log cabin style.

It looks nice, but it's not being used a residence. As you can see, it's s storage space.

If this is the horse barn, it needs work.

I wonder if the sheep convey.

A narrow stream runs through the property.

And, home is on 29 acres of land.
