Valiance is a part of a pantheon of local Gods that preside over a particular region of the Southern Icefield. Specifically, they are the God of Death. They have little direct dealings with living mortals and instead spends most of their time isolated, sorting out the various souls of deceased dragons that enter their domain.

However, every now and again, they are known to get bored and cause some sort of mischief...

Very much yes, though it's very much not meant to happen.

They never really become official but have fooled around. It's hilarious because Links colony of Ancients is very traditional and against breaking taboos, will starve themselves religiously ect, Link and this ancient (Valleys) enforced this HEAVILY.

Anyways obviously when ascension came- it didn't go well.

While Ragnar most definitely preferred the Whiskeys and bourbons the Artisans were able to dish out, nothing could beat the buzz and stinging that he so craved with the strength of pure Peace-Keeper spirits. Maybe it wasn't too bad, as he had drank an entire bottle of Whiskey.. he was going to have to get another bottle the next time he was visiting the Artisans.

concept thing for the valiance! they're a big huge slugcat who lives in the monarch's colony. they care for the slugpups while the parents are out hunting n stuff, and will go out and look for any lost slugpups or stray slugcats and bring them home <3 some info bout them will be under the read-more.

[id: a couple of digital drawings of the valiance, a rain world slugcat oc. the valiance is golden colored with a lighter underside, orange-and-brown limbs. their face is half orange and half gold, and their ears have brown tips. they have a spiky, armored, orange-and-brown back and a spiky mace tail. scars cross their body, their armored back is all scuffed, and their ears are torn. they have dark green eyes.

the left drawing is of the valiance sitting slightly hunched over, looking at the viewer. the right drawing is of them flat on their belly on the floor, their head resting on their arms, sleeping. the background is olive green. the text reads, "the Valiance". end id]

their topside is heavily armored, and as such they're too heavy for regular predators to pick up (besides red variants). they can hunker down and defend, but sly predators can try to flip them over to get at their softer underside. they can do heavy damage by swinging their tail, esp while hunkering.

they're kinda slow (like monk/survivor speed) and while they can't roll/slide very far it's still very damaging to whatever might just happen to be in their path.

they'd have a lot of hunger pips and not a lot stored methinks, but they can eat fruit/batflies/etc for full pips as well as meat

valiance can carry many slugpups on their back at once!! they can shield them from attacks, and the slugpups can still throw rocks and spears if theyre being shielded. valiance can also rip smaller pieces from dead creatures for the slugpups to eat :]

Had fun just going around making my d&d characters in BG3 with @charismaticalpaca! I think Qiris looks spot on, Beauclair’s not quite perfect somehow but I couldn’t finagle it into making him look more like himself (I think it’s that none of the nose options are powerful enough)

I wouldn’t actually play with these two (esp Qiris because she’s monogamous and married and I want to do romances) but it was fun seeing them in 3D!
