I've been given the greenlight to share my process of working on the logs animation! Though first I need sleep, it's 4am here, I'll probably stream it in about 3 hours <3

I want to thank the logs team for welcoming me into this project, it's been a blast to actually work with a team regarding animation. A stepping stone in my animation career I will say. I'm looking forward to working with you lot for the next logs!!!

Commission for Omi on discord. I got the prompt to design an astrology based iterator so I had a lot of fun with the little patterns and mimicking the nodes on the iterators walls to be apart of the antenna design. I thought I was clever with that XD

I had to draw something in response to this- I'm very flattered. I haven't done any schooling for my animation work but I can give some tips and sources that i've used to learn!

Here's a video and a youtube channel id recommend for animation tips as well as a few inspos I look up to personally when it comes to animation! 12 Principles of animation, NobleFrugal Studio, Kiptune, Fernanda Dias Artwork and Louixie

I would also recommend trying to slow down a video and observe the individual frames whenever u find some animation u do like!

who’s inspired your art? do you have any art styles you really like? your style looks like a mashup of a bunch of artists that i love (in the best way possible) and it makes me love it more, and i wanted to know who inspired you!

Awaaaaah that’s so sweet! Holy shit that’s such a sweet compliment! I feel like everyone’s art is a mish mash of artists they love and admire, and honestly I have. A handful of people who inspire me

First off we have THE MAIN ARTIST who inspired how I draw iterators when I first joined this fandom. Found her when I was first peaking in and went ‘hey NSH and Moon are adorable’ and found her awesome ass essay through it: @amerricanartwork

You also have her to blame for fat Moon. I saw her once and went feral

There’s also @maxthelordagain who has hit me twice, not only with blue robes Pebbles but also transfem Pebbles paired with the most ADORABLE fucking art style I’ve seen in a minute it’s so yummy like wtf? I love her shit it’s so cool

And I would be remiss to not talk about one of my beloved mutuals @sapphicrot who has some of the crunchiest art I’ve seen in a minute /pos the way it uses colors and whatnot is hella inspiring, and the personal touches on just about everything it does is fucking awesome

There’s also @creativecapybara who’s responsible for the Moon squishy cheeks I do! Their style is just so round and squishy and adorable and has such a soft feel it reminds me of children’s storybooks! It’s great and I fucking adore it! Very inspiring and makes me very happy and joyous (seriously seeing them get into Hollow Knight made me squeal)

There’s also @toxictoxicities who has some of the more detailed iterator and set designs I’ve seen and it’s SO stunning to watch, also as an animation student their work is. Holy fuck. I need to eat it it’s so good

And diving outside the fandom for a minute, @chipper-smol is a huge inspiration for me and someone I’ve been following for a long time. They are a HUGE inspiration to me and I’ve been following them for so long that it’s hard not to cite them as a huge inspiration general inspiration

This doesn’t count any of my friends that I feel a lot closer to, but this answer is getting much longer than originally intended (I pulled up my following list and couldn’t stop typing oh dear!) so imma cut it here for the sake of not clogging the dash lmfao. Hope this answer suffices anon!

Some warmups for today! I'm so glad I got to draw my gays I love them and miss them so much you have no idea I NEEED to draw them more but my brain so empty DFYGHUJ
