It's a testament to how much Dorian trusts Yuu that his first reaction when his eyes are covered isn't to growl in warning to stave off potential predators. It's an ingrained instinct; in the darkness of the Coral Sea, danger lurks at every corner.

Instead, Dorian lets out a fond chuckle and lets Yuu guide him to what he presumes to be Ramshackle. He's usually the one preparing food or bringing snacks when they meet up, so he's genuinely curious to see what Yuu has prepared.

He's not disappointed; the arrangment he's presented with may appear simple, but Dorian knows better. He can imagine the work that Yuu put in preparing their dinner and getting that box of chocolates (and likely keeping Grim away from both). He even lit a candle, casting the room in a soft, warm glow. Dorian wants to kiss him.

So he does, reaching out to frame Yuu's pretty face with both hands and pull him in to press their lips together, the kiss tender and full of sentiment. He feels like his heart could burst with affection, and he hopes the gesture can at least convey a fraction of what he feels.

"Thank you, angelfish. Nobody's ever done something so sweet for me." he whispers in the barely-there space between their mouths when he pulls back, smiling warmly.
