Oh come on. Misha didn't get that eyelid surgery to "see better". He could see just fine. He got the surgery because his eyes were saggy and he's a vain recently-divorced middle-aged actor. If people online start talking about how his teeth look gross and fucked up with all those old metal fillings he'll probably get them fixed too. Just like he doesn't work out like a maniac "for his health." He works out as much as he does because he was briefly chubby as a kid and is self-conscious about becoming fat as an adult (Jensen's "like an angel plushie" comment at that first con after lockdown obviously hit a nerve.) No hate. But come on. It's vanity. He lost a whole tooth last year and quickly got it replaced. Not because he "needed" to, but because it was noticeable and fucked up looking to be missing a tooth. He uses tanning beds even though they are super bad for your health. Vanity. He's maybe not as vain as Jensen or Jared, but he's still very aware of his looks.

People ARE supposed to take care of their bodies, you are making it sound like it's an evil thing. However, if he was exercising just for vainity reasons he wouldn't have worn out both of his hips! He has said it before that exercise keeps him grounded and helps with anxiety so yes, I believe he did start training harder after divorce because he needed it, mentally as well as physically, there is no shame in that.

Idea log #7

So switched at birth Raven and Apple…

Doesn’t mean their destinies are switched!

Rewriting Ever After High and I just had an epiphany. The beginning would start out quite like normal, but I wanted to include more hints towards their actual destinies.

Like Raven minding her own business and going down the path she wants, only to be hounded by Apple’s “schemes”.

As Controlling and manipulative as Apple is, she isn’t evil-evil. She’s a product of her enviorment, the adults around her pushing her towards making choices. I want that much to be obvious BUT I also want Apple to dabble in too much for her to be entirely “good”.

One change would be to “turn” rebels back to the good side (against Raven). Cerise (acting as Raven’s woodsman) would be momentarily swayed by Apple’s suspicions as to why Cerise isn’t with the royals. She gets scared.

But ultimately she stays loyal to Raven, even if it means her secret gets out.

I just remembered Apple’s obsession with that vainity-mirror, wtf that’s like perfect. Mirror mirror on the wall and all of that.

Anyways, subtle things.

But one of the more sadder things I’m adding is that, Raven and Dexter might not be end game. Not because I hate the ship or anything, on the contrary I love how much Dexter cares for Raven. (Like Cupid)

But at the end of Wonderland’s arc, the storybook of legends no longer binds anyone who doesn’t want to follow through with their story. The powers go back to them sure but it’s not necessary for the story to play out really.

Raven never wanted to be the Evil Queen. I doubt she wants to play as Snow White either. Thus, Dexter doesn’t really have a place to be Raven’s Prince Charming, especially now that Destiny isn’t binding them. I’m not saying they stop loving each other, but I don’t think they should end up together. At least not in this story and not with how I set it up.

(Also the whole love triangle with Cupid, I love the theory that she loves both of them because of their love for one another, and is envious because she doesn’t get to fall in love. Love isn’t just romance either so it still fits even after wonderland.)

That's exactly his fear. Idky anyone would fear aging, you either age or you die, theres no other options. But usually ppl fear aging due to vainity and fear of responsibility as well, two things that he has trouble with.

for all of you saying Kirby is a character with low empathy or saying "Kirby is too childish to understand morals, he's just gonna eat his cake and not care."

Kirby is nice, caring, and perfectly willing to forgive his enemies if they desire to reform; if one chooses to refuse his offer of redemption, he will end you: The key thing about Kirby is how unnaturally nice he is, chalking it up to low empathy or being too childish to understand it is kinda watering down the point

Almost all the villains in modern Kirby are just regular people driven to the absolute darkest depths of insanity in triple deluxe; it was vainity and perfectionism in return to dreamland its greed and in forgotten land the guy was expermentined on by an unknow race for presumably a long time and then left to rot. Kirby had no choice but to put them down. Are you seriously telling me he's not gonna feel sorry for a guy who got his soul deleted because he wanted to see his daughter again!?

A theory on Ares's, Apollo's, and Artemis' involvement in the death of Adonis

A thought occurs to me about the Hippolytus myth, because while I originally dismissed Ares' involvement in Adonis' death as mildly out of character because Ares and Aphrodite don't usually go after their other lovers (except for Eos and even then I'm willing to argue to anyone who isn't a greek scholar that it was because Eos made the mistake of implying she's a better lover than Aphrodite) and the source that implicates Ares as the instigator also implicates Apollo, (Pseudo-Apollodorus, Library, 3.14.3a which also has a midly interesting tidbit about Aphrodite and Ares marrying Adonis together so...guess solving complicated love triangles with threesomes is something that's at least 2 millenia old) but then I remembered something mildly important, Hippolytus was also a grandson of Ares and Ares is well known for trying to save his spawn only failing when Gods on the level of Athena and above actively stop him because, 'The Will of Zeus is the Will of All' and all that jazz.

Which basically made me come up with to two possible theories that semi-neatly involve all 3 Gods in Adonis' death….

One Ares told the Leto twins about Aphrodite's latest boytoy Adonis and let the Leto twins do their thing because Apollo was still made about the son she blinded in the same story with Adonis and Artemis was still ready to swear revenge on a follower (or motal lover) of Aphrodite, cleaning his hands of direct involvement in the murder because while he still does love Aphrodite dearly and doesn't mind having an open marriage nor her wrath on mortals who don't feed her vainity, the very least she could do is leave his spawn out of her revenge schemes.

Or two Ares is with Artemis at Hippolytus funeral and when they talk it's revealed that Ares is his grandfather and Artemis tries to get him involved in revenge, but Ares, ever loyal to Aphrodite, refuses to get involved but accidentally reveals that Aphrodite is having a new boytoy (or in that translation second husband), Adonis, who's she obsessed over and finds it frustrating that he's cutting into their time together alone but is otherwise content to wait until the grip of death takes him so things can get back to usual and also probably doesn't mind the second husband. But Artemis still angry at Aphrodite for Hippolytus and Apollo still mad at his son being blinded takes this information and uses it to plan Adonis' death and…you know the rest.

It probably wasn't how it was meant to told but hey, mildly interesting to think about.
