Vaikunta Loka – Hindu Mythology Talon Abraxas

It is the celestial abode of Vishnu.

Vaikuntha is an abode presided over on high exclusively by him, accompanied always by his feminine partner, consort and goddess Lakshmi. According to Ramanuja, Parama padam or Nitya Vibhuti is an eternal heavenly realm and is the divine imperishable world that is the God’s abode. It is the highest state beyond all worlds and nothing else beyond it. It is guarded by the twin deities, Jaya and Vijaya (guardians of Vishnu’s realm).The Vaikuntha planets are full of golden palaces and hanging gardens that grow fragrant sweet scented fruits and flowers

The Vaikuṇṭha planets begin 26,200,000 yojanas (209,600,000 miles) above Satyaloka.In most of the extant Puranas and Vaishnava traditions, Vaikuntha is located in the direction of the Makara Rashi which coincides with the constellation of Capricorn. One version of the cosmology states that Vishnu’s eye is at the South Celestial Pole from where he watches the cosmos.

Now the concept of Vaikuntha is generally associated with Lord Vishnu in Hinduism. It is believed that Vaikuntha is the realm where Lord Vishnu resides. There are detailed descriptions of the wonderful realm called Vaikuntha & the religious Hindus aspire to go there. The Swarga (heaven) on the other hand is a temporary concept in Hinduism & is not recommended as final resting place in our scriptures. In other words, one remains in the cycle of birth & death, even after attaining Swarga, but not when you reach Vaikunta.

Vaikuntha: This divine sky, or sphere, probably makes up 80% of the total Parah-Vyoma, or the total spiritual existence. This section of the spiritual sky is filled with virtually infinite lokas, each loka being governed by an avatar of God. Hayagreev, Dhumavati, Varaaha, Kaal-bhairav, Meenakshi, Matsya, Khandoba, Koorma, Kaali, Mohini, Dattatreya, Kapila, etc. etc. –

One of the most widespread misconception amongst Hindus is that Swarga & Vaikuntha are one and the same. Some people believe that Swarga is the desired realm of after life as per Vedic scriptures. But the Swarga is place within the realm of time & its residents are mortal. The only difference between Swarga & Bhuloka (Earthly realm) is that the duration of life is very long in Swarga.

Colours of Vaani

The sound of gentle anklets tinkled joyously in the ears of Brahma, who was in deep thought. The very feel of the sound gave Him a deeper clarity, the anklets belonging to His Eternal Ardhaangini Sarasvati, whose Lotus feet touched the open leaves of the Lotus flowers, they spreading wide just for Her, giving Her feet space, freely offering their reverential devotion. He knew Her feet would be stained red, deeper than the usual red, owing to the fact that She had just come from Vaikunta, where it was customary to send Medha back only with new kumkum applied.

He could envision the mischievous argument which would have broken out then, in the form of banter.

"Medha, can I please colour your feet red?" Lakshmi asked, eyes twinkling innocently, yet filled with mischief.

"Lakshmi, has Bhrata Narayana finally taught you mischief?" Uma teased, giggling when Lakshmi pouted at Her, though the mischief in Her Lotus eyes did not even falter for a second.

"Can I colour yours, Sri?" questioned Medha, Her own eyes, so very much like Shiva's, arresting and beautiful, shone in deep amusement.

"We all will colour each other's," said Sri instead, laughing when Uma gave Her a mock exasperated look.

"Yes, we will!"

"And we did, Swami!"

Her voice was like the pleasant waterfalls that soothed an injured heart and Soul, a gentle balm lovingly caressing and healing. Brahma opened His eyes to see His wife standing in front of Him, one foot pointed, the other flat, the curves of Her soles splendid in their beauty. Her standard half white clothing held the tinge of Vaikunta's Bliss. Her bangles had changed into a different set than the pearl ones She had worn that morning, now decked with rubies studded in gold bangles, a gift Sri had hand crafted Herself, no doubt. The necklace She wore was the same one she always wore, pearl in gold, a gift He had given Her right after their marriage, a symbol of Her purity alone being the reason for the shine of His golden nature that created the Universe with Her help.

He took in Her calm Lotus face, eyes lined with kohl and Her sindoor filled with the red kumkum He always placed on Her forehead, Her pottu beautiful and round. Her hair was plaited and decorated with jasmine, no doubt the handiwork of Uma.

"Swami!"

Medha's face had taken on a deep red hue, making Brahma adore Her even more. Jnanamayi Vidya was blushing just due to His adoration?

"Swami, stop pretending to be some normal human," pouted Sarasvati, touching His feet before sitting down on the Lotus to His left, ever Her position, the Lotus white, much like Her very purity.

"Priye, you make me know the value and meaning of Love. Then how can I not be human with you?"

Brahma's words made Medha smile, tender, loving, deep and shy; She was ever the newly wed bride with Him.

"Words true of you are true of me too, Praneshvara. If you are human with me, I too am only a woman with you. Not MahaDevi, as I am to most," said She, Her voice the compliment of His baritone, both soothing, gently loving the Universe like only the Creators could.

"Vaani, I have not the words to describe you," said Brahma softly. "All I can say is that anything I say is because of you, anything I act upon is because of you. If I am passive, you are the active part of me, ever watchful and present. It is your energy that aids this Creation that is part of my duties."

"Swami, an Ardhaangini is She who is forever a partner to Her husband in every single way possible. She has a share in every creation, every responsibility, in every happiness, and most definitely, in every sadness of His. She is His other half, like He Hers. How can we be different? What you wish is what I do. What I prompt is what you say. We are Complete together."

Brahma just listened to Her adoringly, His eyes conveying the depth of Love He felt for Her. She could see the reflection of His love in His wide eyes, touching Her face and causing a gentle caress on it. A smile on Her lips, She leaned forward to place Her head on His shoulder, the two seated on Brahma Deva's pink Lotus, lost in Their own Bliss, even as the sounds of Sarasvati's Veena sang through the Universe, awakening Joy, Happiness, Prosperity and Righteousness across the endless Brahmanda.

What memory would your OC rather just forget?

That Miitech betrayed him (not Militech EU but NUSA), blew up his entire squad and is also responsible that his father had to die. Thyjs makes himself responsible for the failed mission out in the badlands he was assigned to. He knew something was off but he was too late in reacting so they got ambushed with a huge explosion where all his mates (except Mika) died. Some of them lay scattered into every direction. Thyjs got lucky because he managed to activate his Sandevistan just in time to get further away from the explosion but got hit by debris that buried him. Shrapnel grazed his left side of the face, hence his scars. He often gets back into the badlands near the tunnel and to the side he buried the remains of his mates and spends some time there in silence for an hour or two letting tears roll down his face thinking that he failed them all. He desperately wishes he could forget the horrible pictures of his best men all dead. most only burned to remains, in front of him. Thyjs has seen a lot of dead bodies throughout his soldier career and got used to it but he never lost one of his squad mates. They got wounded, sure, but they’ve made it all out alive except for this one time. His heart aches every time the memories come back to him.

What's one way your OC has changed since you first came up with them?

Ry didn't change much. The only thing I can in fact think of is that I've wanted him to be rarely smiling but I changed my mind as soon as I saw him smiling at me like he was the cutest boy I've ever come across. <3 Idk if saying I added a lot of techno to him is a big change since my original thought for him already was to make him a fan of dark industrial EBM music. The darker techno genre he’s into now is just another add-on that fits his overall style. Ooh, maybe that: I've imagined him to be a soldier at first but only stayed with him having interest in the Military. As I started writing his backstory I came to the conclusion since he went to Militech school but only business school as his family wanted him to lead their business later and him being my royal Corpo sounded odd to send him down a military path. So he never got to be a soldier, but he still got a soldier boy instead (I love to recycle my ideas yup)!

Does your OC have a tendency to get jealous? If so, how does this manifest?

Vijay can get jealous but I think of all my boys he's the one who is least jealous (Thyjs is most). I headcanon him to be jealous only when he sees there’s a netrunner who’s better skilled than him in certain things. Like just deciphering some codes faster or knowing of programs Vijay never ever heard about because Vijay thinks he’s always up to date and knows about everything netrunning. But he’s not the type of guy who gets jealous when his boyfriend chooses to be a little flirty with his best friend (Thyjs again, will xD). V knows he can trust his two Scorpio boys and is more happy about it to see them finally get along with each other rather than be jealous.

What is your favorite thing about your OC?

My favorite thing about JJ is that with creating him as Vijay's twin brother, he gets all the bratty, more crazy traits and interests in car racing and cowboys I've wanted Vijay to have while he was still a PS4 oc. Once I made Vijay on pc, V went into a different direction because I thought he was too cute and too nice to be that bratty, do races and wear cowboy clothes (he did on my ps4) since I loved the thought of him being totally into 80s and Vaporwave. So Vijay went to be my colorful ginger boy instead of my original idea I had. Jay wasn't planned at all. He came to life through looking up Vijay's name origin again (Vijaya and Jaya, gatekeepers of Vaikunta, the realm of Vishnu) and I suddenly liked the idea that Vijay could have a twin brother named Jaysen. And the origin gave us a cool idea for the story. So Jaysen came to life and he's probably the most wicked under my boys and runs head first into trouble. He's more like the evil twin and Vijay is the good twin (who is capable of doing the same things as J but doesn't).
