I’m currently in a Marburg Virus Vaccine Trial (I was in a successful Ebola Vaccine Trial in 2015, collecting those hemorrhagic fevers!)
What amused me was that my vaccination visit coincidenced with the Murderathin Equinox event, so I was wearing my heart very much on my sleeve for the first 5 visits…

They injected right in Murderbot’s name…not that you could see the injection site (no side effects whatsoever— same as the Ebola Vaccine)
The temporary tattoo lasted ~2 weeks—much longer than any inflammation at the injection site
I did recommend the books to all the staff at the vaccine centre…

They should invent a COVID vaccine that doesn't make your arm ache like a mofo.

I will be honest the amount I relate to house md from the tv sitcom house md as an adult is quite alarming and very much not the direction I wanted my adulthood to go.
If anything, practically I thought I’d be wilson (witty, smart but not the smartest, unable to make a marriage work) and I hoped to be like Cameron (pretty, smart, compassionate) or even Foreman (smart, pragmatic, insane amount of game) but no it’s house (gremlin)

Blagsinga waterfall Blangsinga, Ubud, Gianyar, Bali In this post I want to review several places near my area that you might consider including in one of your travel plans. Namely Blangsinga Waterfall. Let's discuss one of these tourist attractions further. Blangsinga waterfall is a waterfall located between the villages of Blangsinga and Tegenungan, so if you search on Google, both places will show the same waterfall. This waterfall has 2 entrances, namely from the village. And I happened to be closer to the waterfall at the entrance to Blangsinga This waterfall has beautiful views and is the target of investors from inside and outside the island and even abroad. Around the 90's this place was rented out by a local investor from outside the island and used it as a bunge jumping place. At that time this place was very famous and guests from abroad kept coming and its peak of glory was around the 90's. Slowly but surely this place started to fade, not many people were interested in bungee jumping and closed the book on the early 2000s. The remains of this building and the iron stairs that are starting to rust seem to be a thorn in this beautiful view. The embankment that was built was exposed to high tides, so it is only beautiful when viewed from a distance, especially from the temple. If we go downstairs this place becomes a bit shabby at that time. As time goes by, the dam that was built at that time is increasingly disappearing, carried away by the water, making the scenery look even more beautiful and one of these places is starting to boom again with tourists visiting it.

ranting time. so my parents are big fans of homeopathy but normal meds have always been in the house and actively used. they'd take both and then claim it was the homeopathy that healed the cold and protected them from the chemicals. which leads to me still having to dismantle which ones of my usual meds are a sham (be it typical homeopathy or stuff that wasn't created as homeopathy but proven to be placebo at best or as having no effect which they nonetheless used) and which ones can actually help me. and i have to discover how to help myself from scratch, meanwhile i still have no reliable frame of reference just like with many other things that your family is supposed to teach you but they perpetrated some fuckedupness instead
i also got punished for falling ill as a kid, so i'm not too eager to ask for help of real people either. so it's just me and the internet trying to figure out why my stomach hurts

I’ve managed to combine two of my passions! I’m currently participating in a vaccine trial (new vaccine against Marburg Virus) and I have a (temporary) Murderbot/Gurathin tattoo for the Equinox event
This (being vaccinated in a MB/G heart tattoo) was not intentional—they usually vaccinate my left arm—but you know, reasons*
I have recommend The Murderbot Diaries to several scientists working on the trial
Spot the vaccination site!
*I have a real tattoo on the left arm, they preferred to inject in tattoo-less skin

Husband left home to play boardgames and to let me lone with my writing, but yesterday I took vaccine bivalent (VIVA O SUS) and I'm so slow and dumb and aching that I can't write the book and the due date is closer and I'm only in the middle, I need more 25 to 30 pages, but I'm tired

its actually nuts how missing a single vaccination has shaped my entire fucking life. like not only would I not be deaf if I had gotten it on time but I probs wouldn't have adhd either 🫣
#like yeah I have a family history of adhd but im pretty sure the current model suggests u can be genetically *predisposed* but the actual-#development of adhd is thought to be closely linked to environmental 'triggers' like childhood stress or head injuries lol#or in my case brain trauma. fun fact: a suspected 62% of kids who survive hib meningitis later develop adhd symptoms#vs. 5% incidence in the general population.....#when I first heard that I was still in denial bc i thought of adhd as a 'natural' condition like ur just born that way#so if meningitis survivors displayed symptoms that didnt mean they were ACTUALLY adhd. except literally all adhd is-#is a collection of symptoms its not some tangible 'switch' thats flipped in some ppl and not others. maybe thats a rly obvious statement-#but I found it kinda hard to get my head around. i guess just bc of how a lot of psychology is viewed by the public innit#anyway being deaf + nd kinda fucking sucks yall better be jabbing ur babies with every vaccination possible or im coming for ur knees#its funny bc it sounds like im saying watch out !! vaccination may PREVENT neurodivergence NOT cause it !!#*andrew wakefield voice* u wouldnt want a child with autism#but thats not what i meaaaannn obvs ur kid not getting xyz disease that could kill them is the number 1 most important thing#its so cringe actually bc hib b incidence has been down to abt 2 in every 100 000 babies since the vax was introduced in 1985#so I was one of like. probably less than 10 babies to get it in the fucking country and they misdiagnosed me a bunch of times#bc it was so uncommon + I had some rarer symptoms plus the only way to actually CHECK is to test spinal fluid which is a faff#if theyd realised earlier then i also wouldnt be deaf bc it wouldnt have been as severe. just a series of unfortunate events i guess#anyway. immunology is so fascinating i wish id focused on it more in my degree tbh#over and OUT#.diaries
