V3 Remnant AU Comic Dub Group Casting Call!!!

OKAY OKAY OKAY YALL.

So a few weeks ago I asked @spittyfishy if it were possible for us to do comic dubs for her V3 Remnant AU, and since she gave the thumbs up for it, I decided to start a fun project for it: A Comic dub group! The casting call is linked down below with the details and current roles open!

(Some are currently closed atm - not because they're taken but I'm still working on writing some audition lines for them haha.)

This is gonna be a "for fun" project and relatively casual - its more of a fun way for danganronpa fans alike - VAs, artists, editors, etc. - to have fun and create a fun project for a franchise they love so don't be too relatively nervous of being perfect or anything like that!!

Please check out @spittyfishy if you wanna follow her v3 AU and her other work! She's such a talented writer and artist and deserves all the praise she can for this super cool premise on what I feel is one of my all tine favorite AU's,,,

(this project will def branch out into diving to do remnant au content for the other 2 casts as well! but as of now i'm mainly focusing on v3 atm)

Just curious Junko, let's say you have all three classes available to you, but would only be able to get 14 of them on your side, you and Mukuro don't count as part of class 78 for this, who do you pick to become Despairs?

I firmly believe Nekomaru was the reason the canon remnants were able to work as a team as well and as long as they did after Junko died

I love that a majority of the drv3 chapter 5 trial is so dependent on Kokichi knowing about Junko and the remnants. But it's actually not Kokichi and Kaito has no idea who they are

Someone's like "you're a remnant of despair!!" And just get hit with dead silence from the exisal. And nobody pieced together that it's probably not Kokichi. He can't even ask, he's just gotta wait for a good moment to change the subject

I'm imagining Kaito frantically looking through the script like "who the hell is Junko Enoshima what are they talking about WHY DIDN'T KOKICHI LEAVE NOTES ABOUT THIS"

Hiii sorry I haven’t drawn anything Danganronpa since that joke post in may 2023, or June 2022, I kind of got out of Danganronpa and also I’m in college now. I probably won’t draw anything dr related for a while, but hey here this is. It’s a redraw of my “Kokichi is the son of Remnant Mikan and Izuru” au, specifically when he was possessed by Junko for a bit

In Before the Dawn, the father of the villains confirms that one of twin's semblance was active in the womb throughout a good portion of the pregnancy

Meaning, in Remnant, fetuses have souls. Wonder how legal abortions are

Edit: just remembered Pyrrha had to unlock Jaune's Aura in V1, so does that mean someone cracked open a fetus's Aura inside the womb? Was Gillian strong enough as a cluster of cells to unlock it herself?? Wtf is this origin story???

Okay funny idea: whenever Junko starts getting too nuts about despair Kokichi has developed the habit of just shoving a chocolate milk carton into her hands and makes her drink the chocolate milk

Like his weird aunt is being extra weird again, she's just cranky and needs choccy milk

So like. Danganronpa V3 au idea I had. Where all the V3 cast are someone who was personally attacked/effected by the actions of one of the remnants of despair/Junko/Izuru.

(List of who effected who- I have vague ideas for each)

Izuru- Rantaro

Junko- Tsumugi

Nagito- Kiibo

Fuyuhiko- Ryoma

Akane- Kaito

Sonia- Kirumi

Kazuichi- Miu

Imposter- Angie

Teruteru- Korekiyo

Mahiru- Shuichi

Peko- Maki

Ibuki- Kaede

Hyoko- Himiko

Mikan- Kokichi

Nekomaru- Tenko

Gundham- Gonta

And they all end up being targeted and arrested by a governing power (NOT the Future Foundation) who have found out the Remnants are alive and wish to kill them once and for all. They basically end up shaping the V3 cast to take down the Sdr2 cast-

The story would be the Sdr2 cast and the V3 cast clashing with ultimately the Sdr2 cast proving they have changed for the better, and the V3 cast getting the closure they need + escaping from the governing body that only used them for vengeance.

V3 Remnant AU Casting Call - Update for 3/31

So. Oopsies.

I gotta get my ass back on track and get the rest of the cast on the casting call fuck-

I’ve been super busy this week - like much more than I was hoping I’d be not to mention I was at anime Boston w/ a friend on Saturday (we had fun :OO) but now it’s sinking in how far behind I am on getting the other cast members up whoops.

Not to mention my conflicting about having Bandai up because of super questionable design/character choices which also set back my progress (and getting not that much feedback that was hoping for :,))

Because of that uhhhhhh i think I might end up extending deadline for casting AGAIN vdjdsbsksbbs.

I DONT WANT TO BUT I FEEL BAD FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO GET THE OTHERS UP IN THE LAST WEEK LIKE I WAS HOPING TO IM SO SO SORRY AAA :,DD

Time management and getting motivation to sit my ass down and get to typing is NOT my forte in the slightest so god knows how the fuck I was able to do that when I was getting this started. I’ve said it before but this is my first time directing a project like this so when I say “I have NO idea what the fucking fuck I’m doing” I kinda mean that in a few ways. I am not what one would call “professional” but I am gonna try my damn hardest to make up for it :,>>

Sooooo. With that said. I will proooobably still start slowly casting roles starting the week of 4/21 like originally planned, but extend the deadline for other roles out by another week or two. Because I will say, a good few characters do have plenty of auditions for me to sift through and start making choices!

Hope that’s all good with everyone! Again I’m SUUUPPEERR sorry that I’m extending the date AGAIN. Time was just NOT on my side this week as I hoped it would be. But the next two weeks do look pretty uneventful for me so I will hopefully get myself back into the workspace and get everyone up!

Hiiii guess who ran another ds in @hopes-archives!!!! This time it was themed around Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Time/Darkness/Sky, and I cohosted with my beloved @nbmakoto!! I made a whole discord bot for everyone's muses to have their own Pokemon and everything...

Everyone look at tadpole btw. (design inspiration here) He's a little shinx and riolu fusion and I love him so bad I tried to hack him into an actual copy (he just looks like a shinx but its ok.......)
