It’s been a long time since Asajj has set foot on a military base-- though from the looks of it, Ahsoka and her rebel friends have built more of a HIDEOUT than a base. It’s small, and if the Empire got word of it they’d be wiped out with little effort. (it’s not like they have the manpower to sustain themselves against a full scale assault) Still... it’s a little NOSTALGIC, being around all the engine grease and bustling droids.

“I don’t get it, Tano.” Asajj looks around the small hangar, her eyes SHARP. “This is a lot of time to put into such a small scale rebellion. I know you’re just going to give me some, ‘we’re fighting for the greater good’ poodoo, if I ask why you’re doing it. So let me ask instead: why do you want to drag ME into it?”

time 2 talk abt the sw au on here ig

and what better way to start than with how well characters vibe w each other (and when i say characters i mean obi-wan, anakin, ahsoka, oc, cody, rex (in this case))

(note: main oc, aerin, (as pictured in my icon) is obi-wan's padawan for ~the first 2 yrs of tcw (had a master previously) bc reasons, so...)

not doing ones that are pretty much the same as canon

but. cody & anakin? terrible. do not vibe at all

rest below a cut so u don't have to read my rambling if u don't want to

aerin & anakin: complicated. they both try, but they also both have v strong personalities so they tend to get each others' hackles up unintentionally. still care abt each other (once they get to know each other) right up to (in quantum!verse) o66, at which point aerin immediately vows that it is On Sight, You're A Dead Man Anakin

aerin & obi-wan: chill vibes. not quite familial, not quite friendship, but still close. aerin's original master was bffs with quinlan. this has noticable side-effects.

aerin & ahsoka: devil siblings. vaguely knew each other pre-tcw. work great together, get on well. despite differing opinions on a lot of stuff.

aerin & cody: Are You Sure They're Not Twins TM. technically equals, sort of. somehow run on The Exact Same Wavelength. co-conspirators & bffs. (aerin: would you like a lightsabre. cody, holding up obi-wans: i already have one)

aerin & rex: It Shouldn't Work But It does. kind of piss each other off sometimes, but there's a lot of respect there. brought together by multiple very terrible incidents, constantly owing each other life-debts, have definitely lost track of who has more currently (especially post o66)

I didn’t think you had survived this long.” Asajj almost seems HAPPY to be proven wrong. “But if there’s something to be meddled in I’m not surprised you found your way back into the fray.”

“You wanna come up?” Asajj asked, somewhat SURPRISED at herself. Ahsoka not only looked tired, but in her wavering confidence UNSURE-- it wasn’t a good look on her. “My ship’s more comfortable to sleep in than the streets.” Maybe not by much, but at least she had an extra bed. “I doubt you’ll get a BETTER OFFER elsewhere.”
