Nica laughs, the sound catching a little in her throat before she shakes her head. "Fragments of the truth? That still sounds like lying, just phrased differently," she says with a soft roll of her eyes. She understand Tess's concern, though. Nica hasn't had a lot of dealings with SHIELD, but she knows a lot about how they work. Chucky almost curls around her protectively, trying to integrate himself again as best as possible. She's rubbing her hand up and down her arm, fingers hovering a little over the only tattoo on her body.

"What got me on their radar, anyway?" The question is soft, maybe a little softer than she had meant. "Or is it more of a situation where they're suspicious of you, and think they can get answers from me?" Something tells Nica its going to be more in the area of the second one, rather than the first. In the past, Nica would have found it a little difficult to do anything remotely close to lying to government agents.

Now, with Chucky, she knew that lying was probably the best thing for their situation. She and Chucky were closer than she'd really wanted at first, although it was something that she'd gotten used to after a time.

She pushes a hand through her hair and she looks at Tess, the faintest smile working up at the corners of her mouth. "I'm assuming it'll be like actual questioning, in an interrogation room."

Who asks the other on dates: Believe it or not, they'll alternate. Its something that they had talked about, but Nica hadn't realized it was actually something that they had done. The big dates ( like anniversaries ) are one things that they both agree on, && those are usually more extravagant. However, neither complains much about a nice night at home. Who is the bigger cuddler: They both are, honestly. Tess gives off a lot of body head, which Nica is completely fine with. She's even gotten to the point where she doesn't need any other blankets than a top sheet.

Who initiates holding hands more often: Nica, but mainly when they're just sitting on the couch. Whenever Nica uses her wheelchair or Chucky clicks in enough for her legs to work && she has to use her crutches, Tess puts her hand on either of Nica's shoulder in order to make sure the other's hands are free.

Who is more possessive: Tess does, but its just mainly when Chucky rears his head && makes some off comment about Nica. He's gotten better about it, mainly because he likes his body privileges, so he's developed some level of respect for Tess. He keeps any other comments or thoughts to himself, knowing that Nica would at least keep some of his thoughts private.

Who kills the spider: Tess, but that's mainly because Nica doesn't move around a lot. Sure, she'll get some help from Chucky when he's feeling cooperative, but it isn't something that she can always count on. Nica has decently good aim, and she's frequently been able to toss something at a bug to kill it. Thankfully, Tess generally brings the spider outside and deposits it safely.

Who asks the the other to marry them: That's not quite something they've talked about yet, or even decided on. Like the eight-ball says, "Ask Again." Who buys the other flowers or gifts: They trade off, honestly. It isn't like they actually keep a running tab, but often if Nica buys Tess a gift, Tess will trade off and give Nica some flowers. They won't buy each other really expensive gifts, at least not without talking it out first. Who would bring up possibly having kids: Neither of them. Its not that neither of them likes kids, but Nica knows that she's not able to have any herself. If there's a chance, she'd rather adopt a child. Yet, its not something that she or Tess think about often. There's a lot of risk, bringing a child into the world. Throw in mutant struggles and the fact that Nica doesn't know who she is at times, and its not something she'd want to bring a child into. Who is more nervous to meet the parents: Somehow I don't really think that's an issue. Nica knows that her mother wouldn't have really approved, although it wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that Tess is a woman. It more relies on the fact that Sarah Pierce didn't think anyone would be with Nica, but that was more of her worries projecting on her daughter. Tess really doesn't talk much about her parents, but Nica really didn't press or pry too much. There were things that Nica didn't talk about or bring up, and she gave Tess the same courtesy. There's several topics that are completely off limits, and they respect each other's boundaries. Who sleeps on the couch when the other is angry: Admittedly Nica does, but its also done out of kindness and love. She knows the couch gets way too uncomfortable for Tess, and Nica's used to manhandling her legs to where she can curl up on the couch. She'll wake up to find blankets on top of her in the morning, lovingly tucked under her neck and around her to make sure that she stays warm. Yet, the blankets are never tucked in enough that she has trouble getting out of it in the morning. In return, Nica makes coffee just the way Tess likes it that morning and they've made up. Yeah, they'll talk about it later, mainly because they don't want anything left unsaid. Who tries to make up first after arguments: Nica, but that's a partial combination of how she was raised as well as how she doesn't like going to bed angry. Yeah, she'll stew a lot and make sure that Tess is at least taken care of, but she'll never go to bed angry. She usually cooks to make up after arguments, although there's a lot of times where Nica sits in Tess's lap && waits for the other to wrap her arms around Nica's waist, which ends up in them making up after most of their arguments.

Who tells the other they love them more often: Tess, actually. She manages to beat Nica to it, && there's always a further depth to her words as well as any actions that follow. Nica shows her feelings in actions && words, but she's trying to catch up to Tess in terms of endearment. Trying is the keyword, because she doesn't think she'll ever catch up to Tess.

51. Deputy Anthony Perkins- Scream 4

This wasn't a gross kill really, he was just stabbed in the head. But I like it cause he still tried fighting despite what had happened. He stayed alive for a few more seconds before finally falling over dead and his partner did not despite being stabbed once too.

52. Margaret White- Carrie (2002)

I specified the movie here because I think this Margaret's death was a lot cooler than the other two. She had her heart stopped with someone's mind. I think I'd be terrified to go out this way and I honestly think that it was a cool way to go. Any supernatural like death is cool to me as long as it's done right.

53. Dr. Foley- Cult of Chucky

I kind of hate this character, but he got his face absolutely smashed in by Nica. Yes she can't walk but she was technically possessed, so she was able to smash in Foley's face with the brand new red heels that had placed on her by him. (Cause he's a creepy fuck)

54. Pete- Shaun of the Dead

He was bitten off-screen but I think he makes a cool zombie even if the look is so simple. He was angry alive and he was angry as a zombie too. This one is cool because it's kind of comical if you think about it really. His personality seemed to stay the same even when he turned, though you can't tell too well since he acts like every other zombie. It's the facial expressions for me.

55. Buddy Repperton- Christine

He gets ran the fuck over by a flaming fucking car. If that isn't cool I don't know what is. And he really deserved it cause he was such an ass toward Arnie. I think all antagonists of horror films need to go out in cool ways like this one, it makes it all the more satisfying.

56. Dr. Brenden Ryan- Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings

This is the most mechanical trap in all of the franchise. And it's really Saw like too, which is cool. He's pulled up by gears and had barb wire wrapped around each limb, which is then pulled off one by one until all is left is his head and torso. Shitty way to go for someone who didn't deserve it but it was cool.

57. Peter Strahm- Saw V

Another death that makes me really sad. I really liked Strahm and loved his chemistry with Perez. But he had to fucking die because why not and I'm pissed about it. Although he went out in a really gross way, he was trapped between walls closing in on him and he got squished like a big. You could see his bones snap and tear through his skin and it was nasty and you know that feeling when you watch something like it's happening to you? Yeah get the same feeling watching this scene.

58. John Bishop- Childs Play

He gets killed by his own bullshit because he stupidly has a voodoo doll of himself and leaves it down where a two-foot menace can grab it. Though I think being killed by voodoo magic is a cool way to die.

59. Henry Bowers- IT Chapter Two

Glad we got to see him die and glad we got to see Richie kill him. It wasn't really gross or anything but the scenes leading up to it definitely had me intrigued. The whole fight between him and Mike was cool and it was well done, and right before he can finish his shitting comment about Mikes parents dying in a fire he gets an axe to the head. Good job Richie.

60. Carlos Rodriguez- Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare

Another example of love this kill but hate this movie. This movie is absolute garbage and would be the worst of the franchise if it weren't for that shitty remake. The one good thing about this movie is this kill. Everyone is sensitive to the whole "nails on a chalkboard thing" right? But this takes it to a whole nother level. Carlos has a hearing aid and Freddy's knives on a chalkboard eventually makes his head explode since it became too much for him to handle. I think it looked cool even if a lot in this movie is like a looney tunes joke.

        ladies  night  ?   the  two  words  conjured  so  many  images  in  nica's  mind  that  she  swore  she  started  salivating  .   was  she  really  that  bad  ?   in  some  frame  of  mind  ,  yes  .   nica  had  known  that  she  had  a  slightly  moderate  sex  drive  ,  one  that  was  usually  more  keyed  to  being  a  little  more  submissive  than  she'd  originally  thought  .   also  ,  whenever  chucky  watched  ,  he  clicked   in  just  enough  to  make  sure  that  nica  was  able  to  feel  what  tiffany  was  doing  .   she  liked  it  ,  &&  wasn't  really  sure  how  to  thank  chucky  .   however  ,  past  a  certain  point  ,  she  knew  that  he  really  didn't  want  to  be  thanked  .   on  one  hand  ,  it  brought  their  connection  to  a  different  level  .   on  the  other  ,  she  felt  indebted  to  the  serial  killer  .

         okay  ,  she  was  already  indebted  to  him  ,  but  this  made  it  worse  .

She laughs a little, giving a small shake of her head. "'m just good at hiding it, you know?" It wasn't something that she meant to do, not at first, but it just started. Nica can't remember when it started, but she supposed her mother had played a factor in it. The time she had spent in Lochmoor and Harrogate hadn't helped anything, making her almost question what she was feeling or how it made her feel. Then, she taps the center of her forehead with her index finger.

"He doesn't make anything easier, either, you know? Well... he didn't make anything easier at first. Its gotten a lot better, but that's just as messed up as anything." Nica gives a light shake of her head, then looks at Andy. "You're sticking around longer than I thought you would."

nica gives any a slightly concerned look. they'd danced around each other for longer than she could remember, but she'd started thinking of it as a game. was it a game that she thought she'd win? no, but that was honestly what made thinking of it as a game more fun. there was that end goal to strive for, && having that started igniting a more competitive nature that she'd had to deal with infrequently in the past. now, chucky seemed like he was trying to make nica even more competitive. everything had to be about getting from one point to the next, rather than just making it one day at a time. she kind of liked the change in direction chucky had afforded her, even if she didn't like what it was costing her. she'd lost her sanity && the affection of her niece. still, chucky had given her some freedom that she hadn't thought possible. there were a lot of things she still didn't think were possible, && a few of them were standing right in front of her. she's in her wheelchair && she rolls herself a little closer to him, looking at andy with a growing smile. "what ... what did you have in mind?" she asks, trying to keep her voice as even as possible.

         when  was  the  last  time  nica  had  a  good  valentine's  day  ?   honestly  ,  she  couldn't  remember  .   it  was  definitely  before  chucky  ,  but  a  lot  of  things  in  her  life  had  happened  before  chucky  .   unfortunately  ,  chucky  was  a  defining  factor  in  her  life  &&  he  had  caused  so  much  trouble  .   she  can  almost  hear  him  screaming  in  her  head  ,  but  he  shortly  quiets  down  .   how  had  they  gotten  to  this  point  ?   nica  wasn't  completely  sure  ,  but  the  serial  killer  kept  to  himself  most  of  the  time  .   the  knock  at  the  door  draws  her  attention  &&  she  rolls  herself  over  ,  opening  the  door  to  look  up  at  art  .   she  liked  him  .   was  she  going  to  add  anything  to  that  ?   really  ,  at  that  point  ,  she  wasn't  sure  of  anything  .   setting  the  gift  on  her  lap  ,  she  rolls  herself  back  to  let  art  further  into  her  apartment  .   it  was  small  ,  but  accessible  .   honestly  ,  it  was  really  the  best  thing  she  could  ask  for  .   there's  a  small  furrow  in  her  brow  as  she  opens  the  box  ,  laughing  a  little  as  she  saw  the  heart  give  a  weak  beat  .   “  thank  you  ,  this  is  so  sweet  .  ”

𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐃 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐈𝐍 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒, no matter how little that he knew about the true backstory of them. meaning wasn't important to him, all he cared about were the festivities. getting the opportunity to give gifts on certain days . . . where it was acceptable. he was fond of it. considering that he was a gift - giver by nature; he enjoyed the look on someone's face when he surprised them with something truly unique. & oh how unique it was. in the RED, VALENTINE'S DAY BOX that he held out to them - a dripping heart, still bleeding. if looked at close enough, it may even still beat. ripped from the chest of an unsuspecting victim for his gift idea. the box was the finishing touch, the aspect that made his gift a real gift. handing it off bashfully to them, he hopes that they will enjoy his thoughtful present.

Nica’s head swims as she comes back to the front. Her temples throb, both from the blunt force of the butt of the gun and the pressure from Chucky’s presence. Despite everything, she’s not sure how she feels about the fact that she gets a weird amount of comfort from the other. She pushes that thought from her mind. She doesn’t push it too far, but she pushes it down. She pushes it down enough that it isn’t something she immediately worries about. She can worry about it later, just like everything else.

Glenda nudges her shoulder and she looks over at the image on the phone screen. Forgetting herself for almost a moment, she laughs. Before she knows it, the laughter turns into cackling that sounds a lot like Chucky. The van pulls over and her attention snaps to Kyle, who looks ready to hit her with something.

“Its me, I swear!” She puts her arms up, keeping some distance between herself at the other woman. “Haven’t seen blood, so he’s not in the front. The laugh... its just something I picked up.”

They'd been hanging out that day, and thankfully Chucky was letting Nica take the reins for most of the day. Granted, she'd needed to use her wheelchair about halfway through, but Tess didn't look like she minded it. The other woman had never really been too forthcoming, in terms of when she wanted affection, so Nica tries fighting the smile that wants to bloom across her face. She puts her arm around Tess and gives the other woman a hug, relishing in the feeling of the embrace.

While Nica typically does feel short, Tess makes her feel a little more short than she'd usually like. The other woman definitely makes up for it in other ways, and she's always fond of how it feels to be in Tess's arms. "That feel better?" The question's a little muffled, given how Nica's head is buried in the other's chest, but she manages to look up with a wry smile at the corners of her mouth.

that  little  fucker  laughed  a  little  ,  the  noise  echoing  through  their  shared  spots  in  her  mind  .  nica  had  gotten  used  to  all  of  chucky's  antics  ,  although  some  were  a  little  more  eccentric  than  others  .  he  ended  up  settling  for  huffing  a  little  as  she  can feel  him  settling  back  in  her  mind  .  nica  hesitates  for  a  moment  before  finishing  her  drink  as  well.  there  was  still  something  about  the  way  andy  looked  at  her  that  made  her  stomach  toss  a  little  .  it  was  something  that  she  really  hadn't  felt  before  &&  it  made  her  more  than  a  little  excited  .  as  much  as  she  knew  that  she  needed  to  get  chucky  out  of  her  body  as  soon  as  possible  ,  but  she  had  gotten  closer  to  chucky  than  she  honestly  should  have  at  that  point  in  time  .  still  ,  the  stress  the  connection  put  her  body  through  made  her  wary  that  ,  even  with  getting  chucky  out  ,  the  situation  could  end  up  putting  her  health  at  greater  risk  .  still,  nica  ends  up  grinning  &&  finishes  her  drink  as  well  before  she  nods  .  "  yeah  ,  that  sounds  like  a  good  plan  .  "  was  she  sure  what  else  andy  might  have  ?  no  ,  and  she  wasn't  sure  if  asking  would  make  the  situation  better  or  worse  .  nica  organizes  her  thoughts  a  little  further  before  she  ends  up  tilting  her  head  to  the  side  a  little  to  study  andy  a  little  further  .  "  you're  not  going  to  let  this  go  ,  are  you  ?  "

🩸  ――――       ANDY  WAS  ELATED  TO  SEE  NICA  ONCE  AGAIN.  he  had  been  dreadfully  worried  about  her  well  being  with  chucky  stuck  inside  her  head  and  who  knows  what  kind  of  things  he's  been  whispering  to  her,  the  things  he's  more  than  likely  forcing  her  to  do  against  her  will.  he's  come  to  care  so  much  about  nica  and,  even  though  it  was  quite  difficult  for  him  to  ever  admit  it,  his  heart  has  grown  fond  of  her.  maybe  it  was  because  of  their  mutual  trauma  when  it  came  to  chucky  but  andy  liked  to  think  it  ran  deeper  than  that.  he  could  see  nica's  soul  through  her  eyes  when  she  spoke  of  how  much  she  wanted  to  be  rid  of  chucky  and  all  the  things  she's  come  to  regret.  she  was  good;  she  deserved  a  real  chance  at  life.  he  takes  a  small  swig  of  his  drink  as  he  listened  to  her,        “      of  course  i  do,  nica.  you  deserve  the  help   [   ....   ]        ”     he  told  her,  looking  into  her  eyes  deeply.           “       i   —   i  know  of  that  site.  i  can  look  more  into  it.  there's  gotta  be  something  on  there  that  can  tell  us  how  to  get  rid  of  that  little  fucker       ”    he  said,  determination  oozing  from  his  words.  he  downed  the  rest  of  his  drink  quickly  and  then  turns  in  his  stool  to  fully  face  her,        “      come  on,  lets  get  out  of  here.  we  can  go  back  to  my  place  and  look  it  up.  i  have  other  stuff  we  can  look  at  it  too   [   ....   ]        ”

         nica  tilts  her  head  to  the  side  ,  looking  to  the  other  woman  in  the  holding  cell  .   for  the  moment  ,  it  was  rather  empty  .   from  what  she'd  seen  ,  the  gcpd  was  having  a  slow  night  .   chucky  wouldn't  have  been  caught  ,  she  doesn't  think  ,  if  he  hadn't  tripped  &&  cut  his  knee  .   unfortunately  ,  she  couldn't  figure  out  how  to  stop  the  trigger  of  pain  ,  because  the  sensation  of  getting  a  hard  landing  put  her  back  in  the  driver's  seat  .   she  sat  there  ,  only  a  few  feet  away  from  a  puddle  ,  with  a  bag  of  cash  next  to  her  .   the  doll  ,  for  some  damn  reason  ,  had  been  there  ,  too  ,  with  his  own  bag  of  cash  .   the  doll  ,  thankfully  ,  had  hid  his  own  .

         “  i  tripped  .   i  robbed  a  fucking  bank  ,  and  then  i  tripped  ,  ”  she  says  with  a  laugh  .   was  she  angry  ?   no  ,  not  really  .   it  was  just  the  next  in  a  long  string  of  circumstances  that  had  always  sought  to  keep  her  on  her  toes  .   “  i  didn't  even  get  too  fucking  far  .  "   unfortunately  ,  she  didn't  have  her  wheelchair  ,  so  she  couldn't  actually  go  anywhere  .   still  ,  she  found  it  laughable  that  her  ankles  were  shackled  as  well  .

         he  stops  twirling  the  knife  between  his  fingers  ,  gripping  the  handle  of  the  blade  as  he  tries  to  think  over  what  she's  said  .   was  she  being  serious  ?   was  she  actually  being  serious  .   i  wouldn't  do  that  if  i  were  you  ,  nica  says  in  his  mind  ,  vibrating  in  the  space  they  shared  .   in  some  frame  ,  he  knew  that  she  was  right  .   he'd  come  to  find  that  she  was  always  right  in  those  situations  ,  but  he  also  wanted  to  have  a  little  fun  .   he  debated  about  it  for  a  few  moments  ,  sliding  the  knife  into  the  sheath  he'd  gotten  for  it  .   he  rocks  back  on  platform  heels  ,  the  boots  adding  a  little  height  .   really  ,  he  was  a  little  shorter  than  tifff  ,  so  he  needed  something  that  made  him  taller  .  

         “  what  [  …  ]  what'd  you  do  ?  ”  he  asked  ,  trying  to  keep  himself  from  laughing  .   it  wasn't  working  ,  not  really  ,  but  he  was  making  an  attempt  .  fuck  it  ,  just  laugh  .   he  wasn't  sure  if  nica  was  really  okay  with  him  laughing ,  but  he  wasn't  really  going  to  care  about  it  any  longer  .   chucky  finally  laughed ,  the  sound  turning  into  a  cackle  as  he  shook  his  head  .

         after  a  few  moments  ,  when  he  finally  had  all  the  laughter  out  of  his  system  ,  he  held  up  a  hand  before  giving  a  shake  of  his  head  .   “  sorry  ,  i'm  sorry  ,  ”  he  finally  says  ,  catching  his  breath  after  a  few  moments  .   he  couldn't  entirely  figure  out  what  had  gone  on  ,  but  tiff  never  looked  so  frazzled  .   if  he  thought  about  it  a  little  more  ,  he  kind  of  liked  it  .   was  it  the  look  of  surprise  that  he  found  appealing  ?   could  it  have  been  the  fact  that  she  was  so  caught  off  guard  during  it  all  ?

         whatever  had  gone  on  ,  he  was  excited  to  find  out  .

nica's  fiddling  with  the  amulet  in  her  hand  ,  eyes  flicking  to  the  other  as  a  slightly  darker  expression  works  across  her  face  .   "  no  ,  this  is  actually  mine , "  she  states  ,  trying  to  keep  the  irritation  out  of  her  tone  .   she's  irritated  &&  tired  ,  but  the  tiredness  wasn't  anything  that  was  actually  new  .   it  was  a  tiredness  that  she  was  used  to  ,  although  she  knew  that  chucky  tried  giving  her  as  much  energy  as  possible  .   sharing  a  body  wasn't  easy  ,  but  they  found  a  way  to  make  it  work  .   maybe  ,  with  the  amulet  ,  it  was  able  to  make  her  stronger  .

Quirking an eyebrow, Chucky looks at Mary as something else settles across his features. He likes the idea of competition. He knows healthy competition made stuff worthwhile, especially in their situation. Finding something that was genuinely fun was something that hadn't happened in a while && he wasn't about to let that slip through his currently-painted fingers. It was the one thing he afforded himself, but with the simple caveat that it mimicked the shade of blood. The nail artist seemed only too happy to comply && it should have made him nervous, but he found himself unable to care.

"Scared?" he parrots, looking at her as he settles back in the chair. Crossing his arms in front of his chest, he raises an eyebrow as he scans the packed bar again. If he gets a lot of money, he's going to take Tiff out on a date — he hasn't done it in a while && knows it'll get him on her good side. He needs to bank that shit, anyway, for when he utterly fucks up something.

He thinks about it for another moment, then finds himself nodding. "I'll take you up on that bet."

Mary watches, smirking, chin cupped in her palms and fingers starfish-splayed across her cheeks. One wallet, two. Almost too easy — stupid, friendly, easy-going marks. She thinks for a moment she could have robbed them at 15, back when she really needed her own money.

Before he can get the money away, her hand slams down hard on the edge of the bills. "Not so fast. Double or nothing? C'mon." Dragging it out, drawling it. C'moooooon. "I can beat that. Unless you're too scared?"
