Like i am a wet pathetic Maglor truther on most days (I love pathetic men who just. Suck.) But there is SO much appeal in what you described. Him going batshit for any perceived slight against his family.

Sure, Maedhros's said to be burning hotter than feanor himself but Maglor is like the worst kind of illegal firecracker. Calm when not lit, but once you bring it near a fire that shit blows your hand and fingers clean off and people will say it was YOUR fault for getting killed by him.

I think Maglor should have seen Dior killing Curufin (and / or Celegorm) and then do like Achilles with Hector. Tie his corpse to his horse and drag it through the halls of Menegroth
