so about that newsletter last night

now, as fruity as this bit of dialogue already is, the jp translation is where i think it gets interesting. im not fluent but here's the best of my ability:

いいかい？きぶんはわるいがボクはいいヤツだからあえていう･･･ iikai? kibun wa warui ga boku wa ii yatsu dakara aete iu...

Okay? I feel weird, but as a good person, I'll say it...

･･･キミのあいをボクのつばさにのせてあげよう。...kimi no ai wo boku no tsubasa ni nosete ageyou.

... I'll carry your love under my wings.

キミと･･･ボクで･･･まつりにいこうじゃないか。kimi to... boku de... matsuri ni ikou janai ka.

Akaneee NEED ur thoughts on the newsletter

I'm flatttered that you value my opinion this much, anon. But I dunno what you expect me to say, really... Everything that could've been said, has already been said.

We got a status update from Chapters 3 and 4, some future dialog snippets, more of Toby's collab works, some merch info... and of course can't forget the hidden snippet with Dess and Noelle. That's one's very important.

But other than that, I have nothing to add. I'm not someone who picks apart every single detail and spins it into some crazy theory. Nor am I someone who looks at some dialog snippets and goes into shipping mode.

There are more people out there that can make amazing works or video analyses with what little information is given within these newsletters. (Looking at lynxgriffin's Noelle and Dess animatic in particular.)

I see some cute sprites and I'm happy. And that's about it. (I am easy to please)

I think this is what the ERROR message in the Valentine's Day SVN thing said:

WHEN AN ERROR IS DETECTED I SEE THE INTENSITY OF MY FEARS SURGING THROUGH ME LIKE SUSPICIOUS WAVES. ERRORS SCARE ME FROM MY CALL ! LIFE PROMISED ME IT'LL- The only thing I'm not confident about is the "MY CALL" There's two other lines there.

I think it could be like... MR. CAULK or something?? Maybe??? But that doesn't fit with anything we know about thus far. Maybe MR. CRAZY! !??? It doesn't make sense. Make it make sense.

Edit: Actually, okay, there is a name that fits up with it that could be it.

CAIU. There's still an extra line, but it looks similar to the other exclamation point, so it could be like CAIU! !

But it actually *is* a name.

So, in this context, the final line might actually me "ERRORS SPARE ME FROM MR. CAIU ! LIFE PROMISE ME IT'LL-"
