USMS Puts Users in Trouble: Higher Expenses Than the Previous System

The implementation of the unified water and electricity services into the USMS system has caused public unrest, as the transition to the new USMS system is mandatory for all houses and premises by November 2024. Unrest has arisen due to numerous complaints on social media claiming that electricity and water expenses have increased compared to previous costs. According to them, the change has led to a significant increase in expenses, becoming burdensome for many.

The concerned parties have conducted an investigation and found that the majority of users who experienced increased expenses using the USMS system are those who have made modifications to the old meters or illegal wiring, causing previous usage to appear somewhat low.

The public is advised not to engage in illegal work on government meters and should take good care of their property.
