This is Ripley. Ripley had surgery to remove a tumour from her side, which went well...until the vet briefly turned her back and Ripley chewed out every single one of her stitches! You can't put a cone on a mouse, so the vet mummified her :D.
I couldn't leave her home alone all day in her mummified state, so she came to work with me and spent her days on my desk in her sock, getting treats and being spoiled by my coworkers.

Introducing Team OAKR
I figured it was time to go ahead and introduce everyone to my RWBY OCs! I don't have much to share but I wanted to share their character sheets and give you guys some info about them!
For reference, this team is at Beacon 10 years prior to Team RWBY. Without further ado, here they are!
Team Leader: Olivia Chara
- Species: Faunus (Reindeer antlers)
- Color: Olive Green
- Orientation: Bisexual
- Gender: Female/Cis (She/Her)
- Relationship Status: Single, recently left a long-term relationship
- Weapon: Quarterstaff (A rifle on one end and a spear on the other)
- Hair: Olive green, mid back length, straight, bangs
- Eyes: Cerulean
- Clothing: White long coat with dark grey trim (wind Dust sewn into the lining), black knee high boots, dark grey shorts, white sleeveless button down with black collar
- Symbol: Turtledove; center back of coat
- Aura: White
- Semblance: Can temporarily calm enemies by lowering their adrenaline; this gives her time to think of a plan, talk to her opponent, or escape; duration is determined by number of targets, size of target, and target's aura strength
- Personality: Optimist; believes in the inherent good of people; would rather talk to an enemy and find a peaceful solution than engage in combat, but is not afraid to fight; enjoys making those she cares about happy; often puts her own happiness aside for the well-being of her loved ones
- Motivation: Wants to maintain peace in the world and show that Faunus are no different than humans
Olivia was born in Menagerie and grew up in the White Fang with her parents, back when it was an organization of peace and equality between faunus and humans. Her parents were very active in the movement and did their best to give Olivia a reason to be proud of her heritage and believe in the cause, which she still fights for to this day. They also made sure to teach her to protect herself as they travelled to the kingdoms for their protests. Recently, however, the Fang has grown more violent, resulting in the Chara family removing themselves from them. Olivia is determined to bring the White Fang back to the path of peace, and has decided to enroll at Beacon to better equip herself for this challenge.

Aster was adopted as a baby by a wealthy human couple in Mistral. Their parents saw them as a way to better their social image and never actually cared about them. Aster was well off growing up, but they only wanted their parents to love them. At 13, they found out about the adoption and realized their family would never be able to give them what they wanted, resulting in them running away. They used their semblance to procure weapons and provisions while on the run without attracting too much attention to themselves, and made their way to Vale. Kimi comes from an esteemed family of huntsmen that can be traced back to the Great War. Through arranged marriages the family has worked to strengthen their bloodline and create a noteworthy legacy. As the eldest child, it's Kimi's responsibility to carry on the tradition and bring about the next generation of huntsmen for her family. She's spent her entire life with intense training from her parents and is expected to marry a suitor of their choosing, also from a strong line of huntsmen. While she is proud to be part of her family, she is often envious of her younger siblings' freedom and is searching for the courage to tell her parents that she doesn't want to marry who they choose.
Roxy Lane

Roxy's family has always been very artistic and prides themselves on self-expression and helping others. They've always been a tight-knit family, and while they don't have much they do always try to give back to the world. His parents have run several small charity events for different causes, including Faunus Rights. This environment has fostered a loving and helpful nature in Roxy and his two sisters, and the close family dynamic has made him quite protective. It's for this reason he decided to become a huntsman, and while his family is worried about the danger he'll face, they support him fully and believe he will do great things.
Thanks for reading, and feel free to ask more about them! ^.^

A Rainy September
Summary:  For the majority of her life Kagome has been the underdog. With a twin sister that hates her, a father that is presumed dead, a brother that's always getting into fights and a mistake from the past meeting at once, it can only mean one thing; hell for this little miko. Add into the equation that it's senior year and you have one hell of a roller-coaster ride about to begin. Please enjoy this updating story and feel free to leave any comments, suggestions, questions or even critiques!
Chapter Six: Used to be Mine
"Oi!" Inuyasha's tense frame jumped in front of Kagome's line of sight, successfully blocking his half brother from her view. "The hell was that outside, woman?" She tilted her head a bit to the side in mock innocence, "What was what?"
He narrowed his honey tinted eyes at her in accusation. "Wench," he growled dangerously.
Kagome let out an annoyed huff and pushed herself off of the door frame, her closed off eyes boring into the half demon's. "Are you referring to the surge of reiki or perhaps the bastard that tends to be sneakier than a rat?"
"B-Both?"
"That is neither your concern, little brother," Sesshomaru decided to step in now. "Nor is it important."
"The hell it ain't!"
"Inuyasha..." Kikyo tried to calm her significant other by placing a gentle hand on his tightly closed fist.
"No!" He snarled at her, "This bastard decides to show up after seven years of nothing, not even a word to his own brother, and tries to act like he's alpha now. You can't be alpha to a pack you abandoned!"
"Inuyasha!" Kikyo and Heiwa hissed at him, their own reiki beginning to surface.
"What!?" Before he could get any closer to her family, Kagome appeared before him faster than anyone could see. Her blazing ember eyes shone with an unleashed fury as she growled out, "You come any closer and I'll purify your demon half permanently." As if to challenge him, she sent out a wave of her purification in warning.
Sesshomaru's hand gave a light squeeze to the young miko's shoulder before he stepped in front of her, "You are correct in your accusations."
"Wh-What-"
"Sesshomaru-"
He held his hand up to silence everyone, "This one has left his personal pack behind for another, going so far as to travel a great distance for such frivolity. I have since discovered how grave my miscalculations were."
"M-Miscalculations?" Inuyasha stuttered in disbelief, "What a load of-" Kagome gave off another wave of energy in warning causing the hanyou to stare at her in anger. "You can't seriously be supporting this bastard!"
Her soft whisper proved successful in silencing him, "He has valid reasons for leaving, Inu."
"Miko," Sesshomaru rumbled in a low, warning tone. She just shook her head and held a hand out to Inuyasha, "If you would just listen...Just be open minded, I can show you what he's been going through." She then turned to briefly glance at the daiyoukai, "He deserves to know-"
An orchid toned smoke filled the room. When it diminished enough for proper sight it became evident that the youngest daughter of the Higurashi Clan was missing. "K-Kagome?" Souta called out in vain.
"Damn," Inuyasha ruffled his silver locks in aggravation, "Where the hell did that woman go?" The women of the house locked eyes, sharing an unspoken agreement before stating in unison, "Kareshi."
A soft purple mist spread through an old abandoned bookstore before clearing to reveal Kagome's shaking form. Her eyes kept flashing between her vibrant hazel and the burning ember, her hair now a mess from the sudden conveyance.
"Dammit," She grunted. Her body connected with one of the many bookshelves and caused a few of the documents to fall at her feet.
The same harmless gas took the form of a human in front of the conflicted woman. When it dissipated, she found herself looking up at the form a male. He looked to be no older than she and with a complexion even paler than her own. His raven hair stopped just above his shoulders, a third of it pulled back into a lazy bun. His ember eyes bore down at her in a taunting manner, the colour only sticking out further by the raven bangs that surrounded them.
"It's been a while since we've spoken face to face," Came his baritone voice.
"You will share the information of what has just happened."
"Of course, Sesshomaru-sama," Heiwa gave him a formal bow in respected before then heading off towards the kitchen. "Shall I start some tea as well?"
After everyone had situated themselves around the wooden table and the water began heating up, Heiwa took her own seat at the head. Her elbows lay resting against the stained wood, her fingers lacing together and holding her chin.
"Kagome has always been a very fragile child. She was born with a weak soul and has nearly lost her life on multiple occasions. She often became the scapegoat of her peers, falling victim to their torment and bullying. To my own personal knowledge she never once tried to defend herself. I could never figure out why."
The head of the family wiped away a few stray tears from her cheeks before clearing her throat to continue, "She has a rare ability known as chikon. Shortly after Hebi...disappeared...Kagome became even more vulnerable. Her cries often attracted demons and spirits alike to our shrine in attempt to cage her power. And then one night a certain spirit made it through our barrier."
Sesshomaru rose a delicate eyebrow, "Kareshi?"
"Hai," Heiwa nodded in confirmation. "His spirit had been wandering for months and became infatuated with my daughter. Much as you had," Her eyes shifted to glance at the daiyoukai briefly. "He watched over her as she slept and fought off any of the evil creatures that slipped through the cracks and searched her out. He protected her."
"And this Kareshi," Sesshomaru leaned back in his chair, his arms crossing over his chest. His eyebrows furrowed together slightly in thought. "Would it be an accurate assumption that he now resides within her body?"
"Keh, as if-"
"You are correct." Heiwa nodded once more.
Kikyo chose this moment to speak up now and continue for her mother, "We were only nine when the ritual first began. Her aura knew what was happening around her, even if she couldn't comprehend it at the time. So in her resting state, her reiki called out for his yoki until they finally merged together."
"What the hell are you doing here now!?" Kagome grunted, her hand raising to press down against her throbbing head, "Dammit!"
Her body fell to the ground with a loud thud as she struggled to regain her breath. The man bent his legs until he was squatting in front of the fallen girl and rested his head on his hand. His elbow was propped up by one of his knees. "The purification really took a lot out of you back there, didn't it?"
"Fuck off," The stranger released a sigh and shook his head at her words. He let out a low whistle, "Pretty girls like you shouldn't swear like that." His finger flicked Kagome's forehead and she growled in annoyance.
"What are you doing here, Kareshi? Why appear now?"
"I came to have a serious conversation with you," He stated as if it was the most obvious thing on Earth. "A little warning; do not tell the half-breed of his family's massacre."
"B-But..." Kagome whispered meekly, "He has a right to know!"
Tears formed in her hazel pools and quickly traveled down her cheeks, "Sesshomaru was only trying to protect the last living member of his clan..." With a sigh, Kareshi used his free arm to pull Kagome's body to his and held her head to his chest. "He doesn't deserve to be hated for it," She cried harder. Her tears kept coming as if it wasn't just her pain she was unleashing.
After listening to the rest of the troublesome girl's experience with the mysterious spirit, Sesshomaru stood and turned his reserved eyes onto Heiwa's form. "Does the girl still escape to same cove?"
Heiwa shook her head, "Kagome does. Kareshi does not." Souta chimed in, "B-But there's an old bookstore across the town that she used to frequent after dad's disappearance."
"Come." Was all the demon said before turning to leave the house. He didn't deem it worthy enough to wait for a proper response from the boy. He had far more important matters to attend to currently.
Sesshomaru's eyes shifted to the boy briefly, "We must fly."
"F-Fly?" He simply nodded and summed his youkai below his feet, a subtle cloud beginning to form and raising his body from the ground. "W-Wait!" Souta shouted in the fear of being left behind. His hands instantly shot out and grasped onto the surprising silky cloud. "Woah..."
It took approximately twenty minutes to reach the closed off building with this quick form of transportation.
The bittersweet cry of a violin traveled to the two men's ears before their feet even touched the ground. Making sure to be as quiet as possible, the pair made their way to a damaged window. Brilliant ember widened a fraction before hazing over as though lost in the past.
There, Kagome sat atop an old desk, her legs dangling over the wooden edge. In her hands were a violin and bow. Her delicate fingers made quick work at a sorrowful melody. After a few moments, the instruments fell to her lap with her hands. Her eyes had long since returned to their natural hazel and now glossed over as if trapped in a memory.
Her faint pink lips parted as the heavy words of self-doubt left her lips and carried her worries to anyone listening.
"It's not what I asked for! Sometimes life just slips in through a back door and carves out a person. And it makes you believe it's all true and now I've got you but you're not what I asked for. If I'm honest, I know I would give it all back for a chance to start over and rewrite an ending or two for the girl that I knew."
Never before had Sesshomaru witnessed the young woman quite as vulnerable as she currently was. Even when lost in the woods, her tiny feet filthy from running in muddied circles, she never seemed so meek. So tame.
So...unsure of herself.
Before he could think further on his troubling thoughts, Kagome's head tilted a bit in the direction of the two new men. Her eyes softened at the sight of them. "Souta," Her gaze lingered on the daiyoukai for a moment, "Sesshomaru..."
Said demon easily leapt through the window before the siblings could realize what he had done. His eyes bore into the young miko's as if searching her soul for the answer to a riddle he could not unlock.
Sesshomaru's deadly claws reached out for the young woman situated on the oak wood desk still. His intense gaze softened ever so slightly at the sight of her still exhausted frame, "You have used quite a bit of your reiki this evening."
She nodded as she hopped off the piece of furniture, her feet carrying her over to the daiyoukai until she was close enough to grasp his hand. "Nothing I haven't done before in the past," she laughed halfheartedly.
Pulling her body flush against his, Sesshomaru leaned down to press his forehead against Kagome's. His hand still firmly grasped her own while the other situated itself against the back of her head to hold it in place. "This one is very much aware of your constant unnecessary release of energy," He grumbled.
Before she could respond, Kareshi chimed in with a snarky, "Get a room!"
Kagome's cheeks flushed in response but she still had yet to pull away from the demon. Not wanting the spirit to ruin the reunion any further than he had, Souta pressed his hand firmly against the man's chest. The pressure strong enough to force him to take a few steps back in response.
"Oi!" He protested against the hand, "I ain't no damn toy! You can't just make me-"
"Release!" Souta grunted with a brief pulse of his own azure aura. Within a matter of seconds the materialized body of the spirit disappeared in a cloud of white smoke.
The pair stood in a comfortable silence for a long while after Souta's interference and the mysterious protector's forced departure, neither one of them were willing to move away from the other in that moment.
Then, too soon for either one's liking, Kagome pulled away from him with a soft whisper, "You should visit more often." Her underlying message was clear to anyone capable of hearing; I missed you.
Sesshomaru nodded his head and released a barely audible sigh, his posture straightening up instantly.
"It was never this Sesshomaru's intention to be gone for so long." When Kagome rose her eyebrow for further information he released another sigh, "The West is in chaos."
"What's happened?"
"A pest has slipped through the cracks and created havoc within this one's own personal home," he snarled out.
Kagome rose her hand to give his bicep a gentle pat in sympathy, her teeth tugging in her lower lip in a nervous habit before she spoke up again. "Was it Naraku?" He shook his head, "That has not been proven as of yet."
"And what about your mother? Surely she-" Another shake of his head caught her attention, "What..." She whispered, "What happened to Inukimi? You know how she was around Izayoi-sama, there was no reason for her to be in the palace! Don't tell me she actually left her own lands to protect..."
There was a long moment of silence before he stated coldly, "The InuTaisho Clan has all but fallen."

“I told you this would be a bad idea.” for Red Snowing or Snowing pretty please. :)
Thank you so much! FF
“I told you this would be a bad idea.”
Ruby rolled her eyes at Snow’s reminder to them, but shedidn’t justify the statement with a response, she just carried on tugging atthe enchanted rope tying them all back to back and stopping her from wolfingout.
David also rolled his eyes but he didn’t have enoughrestraint to stay silent. “You still agreed to it, anyway you told Emma it would be a bad idea – hence whyGranny’s watching her and we are during the stupid and dangerous thing.”
“Were.” Snowcorrected. “Currently we’re sitting here, without my bow, your sword, and youcan’t change into a wolf.”
Ruby and David shared a look which was drawn to a conclusionwith an eye roll from both of them.
“I hope Emma’s okay.” Snow said quietly. It became obvious,to her spouses, that her sarcastic comments to them had been a manifestation ofher worry.
David and Ruby couldn’t touch their wife, but they bothshifted as much as they could to press themselves against their wife, to giveher some physical comfort.
“I know what you mean.” David agreed. “This would be so muchless stressful if she hadn’t inherited all three of our knack for findingherself in the middle of the trouble, then we could just focus on getting outof here.”
Ruby nodded her head. “Maybe she’ll be too scared of Grannyholding her crossbow to do anything…”
“I think that might just be a you fear….” David joked, though he knew how scary the older woman was holding the weapon, he figured iteven scared Regina a bit (though getting her to admit that would beimpossible).
“She’ll be fine with Granny,” Ruby insisted she was tryingto ignore her growing frustration at feeling helpless to help her spouses andthen go and protect their daughter.
There was a big bang and their heads snapped to look up atthe stairs up from the basement. Snow was having to fully crane her head as shewas at the back of the three tied together.
Slowly the Grand High Witch descended the stairs. There hadbeen some pluses to Roald Dahl characters appearing in Storybrooke, like theclear improvements in the amount and quality of candy in the town, but sadly italso brought about a slew of new villains – including a harem of Witches whowere intent on turning the towns children into mice, according to the witchesthis included twenty year old Emma, Regina, Snow, Ruby, and David all jokedthat it was because Emma acted like a child, which had made her pout, notexactly disproving their point. But it had also terrified them that there was apowerful group of witches targeting children.
Emma had wanted to go in all guns blazing, to storm theabandoned hotel where they were and just hit them with any magic she couldmuster, and as she had so eloquently put it “and wing it and stuff”. They hadtold her no, outrightly banned her from heading to the hotel no matter what, and kept her by their sides while secretly planning on sneaking in to gatherintel on the witches. They left Emma under Granny’s care and reminded her tostay with Granny and told her that ifshe got within a hundred yards of the hotel she’d be grounded to always be atone of their sides for the next ten years.
They had found out a way to defeat the witches, by usingtheir own potion they had been making to turn the children…. But they had alsobeen caught sneaking in, and now they were sat tied back to back in the hotelbasement.
“You know I could just release you now, all you have to dois give over your child, it’s not a big deal, and mice really are much lesshassle.”
“You can go fuck yourself if you think that’s ever going tohappen.” Ruby told her.
“What she said.” Snow agreed through her gritted teeth.
“Yeah, over our dead bodies, you’re not laying a finger onour kid.” David snarled.
The High Witch considered their words for a moment in a coldand calculated way. “Well, I’m not stupid, I know that you’re a werewolf, andyou’re the stepdaughter of that powerful witch who I’d have to be a fool tocross…” She snapped her finger and David was suddenly untied and pinned to awall… “But you’re a no one, no one to miss you...”
“Hey!”
“Leave him alone!”
Ruby and Snow both shouted.
The witch laughed, and spoke as though she was talking aboutthe weather, or was trying to convince them to take out life insurance orsomething. “Then just give the mouse up, it’s not like you can’t just make moreof those disgusting creatures, preferably when we’re away from here so we don’thave to see it, you could even have two at once.”
They could hardly believe what they were hearing, partiallybecause they were disgusted that they ever thought any of them would give uptheir baby, and partially in shock that their relationship was being given moreacceptance by a witch who wanted to turn children into mice then kill them, than some of the people who they had known for years – despite the eye rollsthey gave back and told repeatedly that they were all equally in love with eachother, and no Snow wasn’t just in love with Ruby and using David to give herkids, and that they were never going to talk about their sex life withstrangers.
“She’s our baby, we were separated for her for twenty years,so if you honestly think that we’re going to be forced to be separated for morethan a couple of hours from her, you have another thing coming.” David may havebeen pressed against the wall, and feeling as though a weight was pressedagainst his chest pinning him to the wall, but he wasn’t planning on losing anyof the protectiveness no matter what compromising position he was in.
Before the witch could say anything there was a loud noisevibrating through the hotel. There was another similar noise in just adifferent note. It was completely unfamiliar to the Witch… but Ruby, David, andSnow knew exactly what that was, the first few notes of Seven Nation Army byThe White Stripes.
“Shit.” Snow whispered as the music properly kicked in.There was only one person in the town Snow knew of who would copy Iron Man’s entrancein the first Avengers movie, albeit with a different song choice.
The High Witch clicked her fingers and her arm broke, hescreamed in pain, then she clicked her fingers again and David was tied upwhere he had been before. Then she ascended the stairs again towards “
“David, babe, are you okay?!” Snow asked with sheer worry.
“We need to get out of here.” David ignored the question.
“I think I have it…” Ruby said, she pulled at the rope fiercely, after a couple of tries they came free.
They all pulled the ropes off of them and stood up.
“David you need to stay here.” Ruby told him firmly.
“Not a chance.” David shook his head. “We need to find ourweapons and then find Emma.”
“David, your arm is clearly broken, you need to stay here.”
“Snow, Em is-“
“Here.” A new voice interrupted. Emma appeared grinning thesmile she inherited from David.
“Emma!” Her name rang out of all of their mouths at the sametime, they pulled her into their arms, David didn’t even care about the pain inhis arm as he cupped her head.
Emma melted into their arms as they held tightly onto her,she had been terrified when they had been gone over two hours, they had saidthey would be back by then, and they were never late. She had worried it wouldhave been too late, she was more than happy having three parents who loved herand each other, but she wasn’t sure how she would feel about having mice forparents. Suddenly she was pulled back with their hands still holding onto her, just close enough to see their faces… she wish she couldn’t… they did not lookhappy…
“Emma Ruth! This was a terrible plan, we told you not tocome.” Snow chastised.
“But-“
“We weren’t joking about you being grounded to us.” Davidtold her sternly.
“But you were cau-“
“How did you even get down here so fast? We heard yourmusic.”
“It’s a drone.” She shrugged. “It’s not a big deal, it’s notlike anything was going to happen to me, you three were almost turned into micethough!”
“No excuses, Emma, you could have been hurt- you still couldbe!” Ruby added. “We would have found a way to get out of this.”
“But you did this! You all disappeared on me, you gotcaught, anything could have happened to you… I could have lost you…” Shepointed out, the whine showed her worry, and the pout the unfairness at thesituation.
David, Ruby, and Snow shared a look, they knew that theywere being a little hypocritical, and they didn’t like lying to their daughtereven if it was for her own good.
“I may have left Regina a vague message suggesting to gethere.” Emma said sheepishly, as if on queue there was a huge bang as Regina andthe rest of the backup arrived. “I’m gonna go help her.” She tried to move buther parent kept a tight hold of her.
“We weren’t joking about the grounding, kiddo.” David toldher gently. “Now, you stay put, did you see any sign of our weapons?”
“Yeah, they’re back there.” she pointed over at the cornerof the basement where she had appeared from. “Why don’t I get to-“
“Because you’re our pup.” Ruby pressed a kiss to the top ofher head then turned into the wolf version of herself.
“I’m going to help too.” He told Snow, giving her a look, heknew she wasn’t happy with him taking on the witches while injured but sheunderstood.
“David if you come back with any more injures, so help megod, you’ll be sleeping on the couch until Emma’s done being grounded.”
“You could just not ground me-“
“Understood dear.”
“-Or we could just ignore Emma…” Emma sulked.
“Emma, baby, just do what your mommy says. Me, mommy, andmama will all talk to you about this at home.” He told her gently, but he shother a look telling her that there was going to be a conversation later.
“After we go to the hospital.” Snowtold him seriously, she might not be able to get him to not fight, but shecould make sure he got it treated as soon as possible. “Emma, I need you tohide down here, behind those boxes just incase anyone comes down. David, canyou pass me my bow.”
Soon enough the fighting was over, David and Ruby had joinedRegina and the others, Snow had stuck some arrows into a couple of witches andluckily Emma had listened to her parents for once and stayed put.
Regina looked at Snow with a raised eyebrow. “This was anincredibly stupid idea Snow.” She chastised.
Emma ducked her head and sniggered, perhaps it was a parentthing, as her mom looked exactly like she had when her parents had told heroff.
“Wow, who’d have thought Snow would be pouting like a baby?”Ruby smirked before looking back at David’s arm, to her it felt like a cleanbreak which would be easily and fairly quickly fixed at the hospital.
David wrapped his uninjured arm around Emma’s shoulders andrested his head on her head. “You’re right, she looks exactly like our baby.”He smirked as Emma turned to face him with another pout identically to Snow’sthen knocked her head against his chest as though trying to headbutt him, butshe led her head against him. David smirked ate her huffy cuddle.
“You both suck.” She pouted against his chest.
David chuckled and shared a smile with his wife. “Uh huh, well, you get to spend the next ten years with me and mama, or mommy, all the time.”
Snow walked back over to her two spouses, rolling her eyesat her stepmother’s stern words at her ‘risky and immature behaviour’. Her faceturned worried as she looked at David’s bruised and swollen arm. “How is it?”She asked Ruby, her voice not masking any of the worry, she ran her handthrough Emma’s hair distractedly.
“He’ll need a cast but he’ll be okay.” Ruby assured her. “Solong as he listens to his two amazing wives, and takes it easy, and doesn’tover do it.” She shot David a look as he rolled his eyes, a serious one, whichwas very different than how she normally acted.
“Yes ma’am.” David said with another playful roll of hiseyes. He pulled Snow into a kiss. “I’m fine Snow, I promise.”
“Good, because I love you, and if anything happened to youI’d kill you.” She told him seriously.
David was touched at how worried his wives were for him, itwas a testimony to how much they loved each other, they always would and theybecame especially protective in times of worry. He looked down at Emma who waslooking up at him was the worry of Snow and Ruby put together. He pulled hercloser to his chest. “Don’t worry baby, I’m fine, it’s just a poorly arm. Hey,look at it this way, I’ll be off work until this is fixed, that means you canget me to watch all those tv shows and all the movies we’ve been meaning towatch.”
Emma still felt worried, though she knew that she was beingsilly, she was happy to be held safe in her father’s arms. “Disney marathon?”
“Sure, just no Snow White, or Hoodwinked, or we’ll have yourmommy and mama ranting about them for days.”
“It’s completely inaccurate! Granny’s never gone skiiing!”
“Name the last time you saw me dancing and singing withwoodland creatures… well, when I wasn’t drunk on Granny’s homemade sangria…”
