hey everyone! i’ve been looking to participate in a multifandom gift exchange this year but haven’t been able to find one that wasn’t associated with a network, so i thought why not host one myself! the idea is directly inspired by @transvanya​’s event last year, which i had an absolute blast participating in <3

this event will be open to everyone who considers themselves a visual content creator on tumblr, meaning you can contribute gifsets, graphics, edits, fanvideos, fanart, icons etc. 

what you’ll have to do:

1. fill out this google form so i know who’s participating. the form will stay open until november 27 (28 now!), so you have until then to sign up.

2. once the form closes and i have everyone’s names, i’ll use an online generator (DrawNames) for the drawing of the names. you will be sent an email on november 29 that gives you a link to draw a name, and while i’ll be making another post when that takes place, please do your best to remember the date! and don’t forget to keep the name a secret.

3. from december 1, you’ll be able to start working on your gift. take a look around your giftee’s blog to get an idea of what they’d like, and if you want, you can get to know them (and their interests) better by sending them asks on anon mode, so make sure your inbox is open and the anonymous feature is turned on! the frequency of the asks is up to you, but it’s always nice to gain a friend in the person you’re making your gift for :)

4. from december 24 until december 26, you can start posting your gifts. make sure to @ the person your gift is for in the caption, and tag #ccss2021 so that i can find and reblog your post! i urge everyone participating to follow this tag as well so we can all see the wonderful gifts that have been made <3

important: please only join if you know you’ll be able to make a gift for another person. you can let me know by the time sign ups close (november 28) if you want to pull out, but after that i’m afraid we won’t be able to switch around names. of course emergencies happen, so hopefully i will have a plan if that is ever the case. other than that, have fun with the event!!!

hi!

i've being very busy lately, school is being hard & i'm struggling with my mental health, i need some time to relax and recover, being constantly behind schedule is making my anxiety really bad. i'll get through my celebration edits eventually, so if you sent an ask: i promise, they're coming soon. i haven't forgotten you.
