003. en casa, sus estudios en ingenieras tanto mecatronica como de sistemas fueron como unico enfoque la empresa familiar, siendo parte del equipo de buscar fallas en el sistema & formas de vulnerarlo para fortalecerlo. su hobbie, con amigos que conocía desde niños, era meterse a casas de otros ricos & contra el tiempo & sus propios sistemas de seguridad, abrir sus cajas fuertes. no robaban nada de valor, sentimental o rastreable, mas que nada comían algo & luego se iban. dejo esas fechorías adolescentes ya, aunque a veces no se rinde ante la nostalgia, & la adrenalina.

Bowsette is bowser wearing the super crown, a power up that turns toadette into peachette, who is basically peach in a toadette-style outfit

As soon as the trailer dropped, people made it horny, thus sprang forth a bunch of mario enemies and bosses as a sexualized peach, lead by the infamous bowsette. This spread far and wide to other IPs and characters

Theyre all named wrong too. Its always (name)+ette. The -ette suffix comes from toadette. Not peach. I guess “peacher” or “peachser” didnt have the same ring to it.

Anyway while it was a dumb and very obviously oversexualized trend, a lot of people have completely missed the point.

Again, its not “bowser but girl.” Its bowser as peach.

In Super Mario Bros. Wonder, the Wonder Effect used by Bowser Jr. during his boss fight in the Pipe-Rock Plateau Palace makes the player character bigger and then smaller. However, internally, a trick is used to merely give the impression of the player becoming bigger or smaller while the character actually stays the same size.

This is accomplished by the entire room and Bowser Jr. shrinking and growing, alongside the camera zooming in and out in perfect sync to the transformation, to hide this. The footage shows what this looks like without the camera movement; note how when the room becomes small, Toadette appears large in relation to it while her size doesn't actually change, and vice versa.

It is unknown why this trick was used to perform the effect rather than applying the growing and shrinking directly to the player, but it is theorized that the developers opted to utilize (presumably) pre-existing "room resize" and "enemy resize" functionality rather than making new "player resize" functionality, which resulted in such a non-intuitive, roundabout implementation.

Mario Characters as Batman Villains - Day 18: Toadette + Punchline

For today, I have decided to change characters from what I planned to do again, similar to how I switched Toad and Rosalina, which means Toadette gets done today.

The choice of character to pair Toadette with gave me quite a few headaches because I wasn't sure of a good fit for her. A couple of choices were considered, but when someone suggested Punchline, I thought it would be a fine fit for her, hence we got the drawing we have here. Since Punchline is a pretty recent addition as a Batman villain, I don't blame you for not knowing who she is.

Similar to Toad, the fact that Toadette have an unusual body type makes certain details difficult to depict. For one, the legs: I hope that the "O" and "X" around the boots are visible. Toadette normally doesn't have hair, but I added a fringe to slightly better show the non-black streak like Punchline's fringe.

I recall how there was one user's avatar depicting Toadette brandishing a knife with a smile on a Mario Party forum, and I thought it looked funny. It's not related to making the decision here, but it does ease the barrier in adding knives for Toadette.

This is a confine of requests of @SweetPolkaDots13 and @KaiCreatez12 as for @SweetPolkaDots13 he wanted a Neopets character by the name of Blumaroo meeting a Ampharos and for @KaiCreatez12 the user wanted a Pokemon character meeting a Mario character which are Dawn and Toadette confine together in a crossover.

At first I was solely keeping to canon with the Super Crown (Toadette being the only one who can use it), but I reeeeally like the cool potential ocs that come out of letting others be able to use it as well. There have been soooo many neat designs people have come up with for other characters with it and I wanna keep that potential.

So my idea is that the Super Crown was created by Toadette basically for her to live out her humansona dreams jfnvjdjhs. Her humansona looks like Peach because she greatly admires her (as is typical for a Toad). Other species can use it as well and they will turn into their own humansonas (if they have one in mind, that’s what they become; otherwise, it will just be designed by the power of the Crown). It also gives the user the same powers Peachette has (temporary levitation, double jump, etc). I am unsure yet whether or not humans themselves can use it, though probably not as its intended use is to turn a nonhuman into a human.

I’m not sure if it’s shown in any game other than Paper Jam, but I really like the idea of Toadette being an engineer. And with the Crown turning her into a Peach lookalike, it seemed like a wish fulfillment thing she would do lol. It was definitely created using Dream Magic since that makes the most sense.

Could someone think of a better title name please? So, this is an old project that was actually my first comic, actually my first thing I was going to do, before the GMOD, the MMD, the Adobe, the Pixel Art, though I've never got around to doing. Now since it's 2023, and not a lot of people do Super Mario comics anymore, I don't know if I could do it.  Though it'll feature Yellow Toad, Blue Toad, and Toadette, it will also feature some familiar faces from Nintendo.  So If you guy like it, I might do more.

Yellow Toad Adventures ~ Chapter (1-1): A New Kingdom?  After the recent events of NSMBU/Deluxe, Yellow, Blue, and Toadette were walking through the wood enjoying their day… for some reason… when  They discovered a silhouette. The Trio followed it to find out what it was. It disappeared! The Trio then found a mysterious glowing Warp Block, with a (I SUCK AT SHORT STORIES, SHUT UP). The Trio were wonder if the creature was the box. Yellow and Blue want to know what’s inside, So Yellow touched the “!” Block. Suddenly, the block begin shake, and grab Yellow and Blue! Toadette then tried to grab them, but she accidentally hit the block… and got captured as well! The Block then Flew away with them to an island, or another world or Kingdom.

001. ultima hija de los couronne, cerrando la familia al fin tener la hija mujer que deseaban. no tardó en estar bajo el velo de su madre, enseñandole & compartiendo todo lo que no podía hacer con los hermanos mayores de augustine. pero esto comenzó a ser demasiado & el escape de la pelirroja fue en los brazos tranquilos de su padre en la bodega, enseñandole sobre vinos.

002. augustine gustaba de la atención de su madre, hasta que comenzó a crecer & la toma de decisiones comenzaron a ser retadas cada vez mas por la pelirroja. que comer, que no, que vestir, que no, que amigos tener, que hacer, etc. las discusiones no se hicieron esperar, pero con un trato con su padre, mediador de ambas, se logró que ella tomara sus propias decisiones, pero de cosas no públicas. o que no llegarán a serlo.

003. su vida siguió como socialité, parte de la imagen familiar, aun encantada que la historia de amor que era famosa sus padres era un poco real por lo que veía en ambos, al menos frente suyo. quería algo así también.

004. fue en la escuela que comenzó a sentir un poco de libertad, a sabiendas de su padres no se sentía tan rebelde pero no rehuiría. hasta que comenzó a hacerlo, solo por la adrenalina. decir que iba a una fiesta pero salía de la ciudad a cualquier aventura que grupos de baja sociedad se pudo topar. en uno de esas salidas fue que se tatuó, y cuyas par de cicatrices sigue borrando. el cabello se tinta de negro cada que sale a esos lugares, perfecto para pasar desapercibida.

hi! I’m Jester. I recently (recently being two years ago) started cosplaying too, and for me it was just kinda a transition from dressing like a concept to dressing up as a character. I always enjoyed carnival and Halloween bc of the costumes, and I do theatre, so combing these two hobbies (crafting+dressing up for Halloween and acting the part of the character) was an easy and excellent new hobby for me. I started out with something super simple, stuff I had at home. Back then, I started out with a Toadette turned modern look, taking a pink skirt, white top and white shoes and made myself a mushroom hat. my second cosplay, the one of this and last year (there’s sadly not enough conventions or anything of the sort in my area) is a Kenku. I made most of it myself or from stuff I quite literally found. It’s all puzzled together to look good. And to be honest, to create something good, you don’t need the most high quality products there are. I used cardboard for my first mask and it was incredibly sturdy. I hot glued elastic bands together to create a support for my head, or used pins to make a jaw hinges even if I was supposed to use belt screws or something. Get creative! Someone once said: ‘Only bad artists blame their tools and materials.’

And if you really want to get started, there are tons and tons of videos on YouTube! I got all my mask crafting skills from a guy there who was kind enough to post his patterns for free! I got my painting skills from another lady on there! And even for more complicated stuff like styling wigs (haven’t done that before cuz I personally hate wigs), there’s tons of advice. Even here on Tumblr you can find good sources. The only way I figured out how to fur my mask was through a Tumblr user whose account I can’t remember right now.

Long story short: go for it. Try it out! There’ll be fails, of course, but it’s so much fun! And totally worth it, for all the pictures people take and how happy you can make others by cosplaying your favourite characters!

Okay, so. I have another question about things that are totally not in my "I'll get to it someday and I don't have any concrete plans right now" pile, but. How do you even get into cosplaying? Looking at it from the outside, it just looks like it takes a ton of skills, such hair styling/styling a wig, sewing clothes, crafting accessories and so on. And I don't really have any ideas on how to do any of it, even though I am sort of interested in that hobby.

New Super Mario Bros. U/Deluxe contains a "Phantom Piranha Plant" phenomenon whereby sometimes Stalking Piranha Plants will simply disappear without any explanation.

Note how in the footage, Toadette is on a platform with a Piranha Plant in the beginning, then very briefly lets it out of sight when picking up a Koopa shell. However, upon returning, the Piranha Plant is gone. Note also that these enemies are programmed to turn around on ledges, so it cannot have walked off the platform.
