Historia de amor es más breve de lo que hubieran pensado, embarazo no planeado provoca que el hombre se regrese nuevamente a la Ciudad y que nunca conozca a la pequeña Quetzalli. La llegada de las Huerta a Real del Valle sucedió sin ninguna clase de incidente, asentándose en el pueblo por recomendación de un conocido y realizando su vida sin incidentes los primeros años… Al menos hasta que la madre de Quetzalli desaparece sin dejar ni una posible pista o ningún rastro. Como si nunca hubiese existido. Quetzalli desde entonces fue críada por su abuela, doña Marcelina, quién con los años fue ganándose cierta fama por la clase de trabajos que realizaba. Algunos en el pueblo le llamaban bruja, otros más escépticos reconocían su habilidad con la herbolaria y los recursos que la tienda le brinda, algunos más prefieren mantener su distancia por seguridad.   Ignorante de todo lo que sucedía detrás de las cortinas del negocio de curación de su abuela, Quetzalli creció como cualquier otra niña de su edad. Cursó sus niveles escolares con buenas calificaciones, se hizo de amigos conforme iba creciendo y siempre ayudó a su abuela en lo que ella necesitaba. Actualmente ejerce como guía en el museo del pueblo, pues después de estar viviendo toda su vida ahí se siente con la capacidad de contarle a los turistas acerca de la historia y la magia que encierra a Real del Valle.
