Initials
[masterlist]
CW: whumper pov, pet whump, dehumanisation, cutting (NOT self-harm), gore
Mireille hadn’t put too much thought into it, not really. But she didn’t need to. The moment she lay eyes upon the initials carved into the jewelled perfume bottle in the home of one of her suitors, it was decided.
Henri was a good man, certainly as good as he could get, though not without some imperfections. He was of good stature, broad shoulders, though unaware of how to present them, always slouching slightly, as if the weight of his own frame was too much. And really, that wasn’t acceptable in the eyes of perfection. Maybe Mireille could make him great, could make him her own and teach him how to be proper, but maybe this was the best he could get and she’d just waste her time. Honestly, she’d rather be certain of her efforts, but he didn’t need to know, for his presents still made lovely decor.
He did have good taste, otherwise she wouldn’t have entertained him for so long.
All that matters now though, is the sunlight catching in the glass carvings of the bottle, the image replaying in her mind. She wants it too, and she wants it now, and Mireille knows just the possession perfectly suited for this:
Her little ashtray.
There is no thought in her mind of where to do this, who to ask. None of them would see the vision in her mind, the exact way it’s supposed to look. They’d all mess it up, ignorant of the gracefulness she lent to her ashtray. No, this is a personal project.
It is too easy to acquire a proper knife without suspicion. These men –the useful ones– – would bend over backwards just to get a chance at pleasing her. Sometimes she’d go as far as calling it boring, but what else was she supposed to do when all it took was the batting of her lashes, looking up at them with big, dumb doe eyes and slightly parted lips? Her body spoke a language none of them could resist, none of them were ever more than prey to fall in worship.
And worship they did, falling to their knees to satisfy her in all the ways she allowed them. She was their queen in satin sheets and velvet dresses.
So here she sits, legs crossed elegantly on her precious couch, the fine knife not yet unpacked, resting in a silver case, embedded with diamonds.
No one else understands that not only does the result need to be flawless, but every single step needs to be immaculate, from the tools to the cutting to the one performing. An image has to be created, a scene, and none of those lowly things could ever understand her vision. That was what has always made her inherently different, inherently superior, and deserving of rightful worship.
A servant rushes into the room, hitching breaths restricted by the working collar, eying the golden bell set carefully on the glass table in front of her.
“You called, Mistress?” they ask, staring cautiously at the floor, not yet daring to raise their eyes to meet hers. Good. She wants them revering.
“Yes. Fetch me my ashtray, won’t you?” Mireille drawls, her bubbling excitement hidden under layers of refined grace. “And bring me some strong dogs. They will be needed.”
The servant nods, not worrying their stupid little head about her meaning, teasing what's to come, and rushes out as quickly as they came. They look frail, purposeful like porcelain, probably why she bought them, though their name or number had left her mind long ago. An unimportant piece of information abandoned along the way, replaced with something of value.
Only minutes later, the same servant returns, gripping the ashtray’s golden leash too tightly. It’s barely noticeable but nonetheless doesn’t escape her all-seeing eyes; the way their knuckles drain of colour disturbs the otherwise pristine scene. They are followed by two guard dogs, muscular and well rested, their posture straight and imposing, their gaze hard and cold like unmoving stone.
The ashtray looks perfect as usual, the thought both pleasing and stinging in a way that does not fit her image. So Mireille pushes it aside, a worry for later or preferably for never. They can’t have taken long to get him ready. And yet…
“Undress the ashtray. I want his chest to be free” Mireille orders, snapping her fingers. The servant quickly complies, buttoning the fine blouse the ashtray was decorated with open, pulling up away from him and folding it with learned precision.
It only takes a hand movement for the ashtray to step forward, for him to sink to his knees in front of her. The poor lamb doesn’t yet know what is coming.
“Hold him.”
The ashtray gasps and for a single, disobedient moment looks up at her with big panicked eyes. The way his blue eyes shine in the golden light of the chandelier does nothing but strengthen her resolve. Maybe, in another world, the view in front of her would be a painting she saw at an auction, a beautiful angel wrapped in gold captured by beasts of stone, unknowing of his fate. And like a painting, it is only natural for her to leave her mark.
He doesn’t struggle, even when she can’t imagine this was part of his training, he just looks at her pleadingly, unsure what he is even begging for.
It’s a scene now and Mireille will be a perfect part of it.
Slowly, she stands up, taking the silver case from the table as she passes it, positioning herself right in front of the ashtray. It opens with a satisfying click, revealing polished metal, sharp edges, red velvet and her initials finely engraved on the handle. Mireille can just about stop a laugh from bubbling up.
She crouches down to the ashtray’s eye level, laying a hand on his cheek. He doesn’t even lean into it. “Don’t. Move.”
Mireille takes the knife, letting it gleam in the gentle light, and hands the case to the servant still watching.
She can’t mess up now. It has to come from her heart.
Carefully, she traces her initials into the skin on his collarbone, making only slight cuts, letting her letters swirl around.
M. A. B.
Holding the knife like a painter's brush, with meticulous, perfected movements. It comes to her like second nature and the first step is completed.
In a final decision, she lays the knife’s edge on the first line of the M, watching the ashtray’s breath hitch in horrible anticipation. Not even a wince has broken through his training and Mireille is more than curious to test how far she can take it.
Were he any cheaper, she’d love to test what would get him to break his training. If she could get him to speak after all. But that wouldn’t be graceful, now would it? It would be a waste.
Instead, she presses it into his flesh, cutting down slowly, precisely. Once, then twice. The ashtray’s breath gets laboured and it only fuels her. She knows what she wants; an ornate engraving, decor on his skin, a signature on her masterpiece.
Fresh, richly red blood pours from the cuts, running down his bare chest like tiny rivers, connecting and separating, getting caught in raised scar tissue.
Mireille moves carefully, taking her sweet time, her lips opened slightly, imitating an artist. Position, press, slide. His flesh parts beautifully, like he was made for this. For a moment, she looks over to the servant, who is pressing the case against their chest, their face showing sloppily concealed horror, and it makes her smile. They would probably call it brutal, ignoring the gentle way her knife slides through his skin, not meeting any resistance. They’d call it violent, not comprehending the second artwork the rivulets of blood form through the hand of fate itself. They lack the mind of an artist and the nature of a human.
By the time she reaches the A, the ashtray is barely holding back sobs, letting out silent, crooked whimpers –a sound so ugly she should punish him for it–, as she etches her mark deep enough to hit the bone. Still, he doesn’t move, doesn’t strain against the unforgiving grip holding his arms, against her carving following the twirls and flourishes.
She doesn’t admit to herself that it is more challenging than she thought, to follow the rounded lines with a tool that craves sharp edges and straight incisions. The curves of the B make the knife catch on the bone and the ashtray lets out a soundless gasping scream, blue eyes nearly rolling back in his head. The tears he could barely hold back before now run down his face in a disobedient river, mixing with the blood on his chest, destroying her artwork.
He lifts his head upwards, in a last attempt to stop the flow of the tears, but it only makes them drip from his chin into the gashes and he is destroying everything–
A slap echoes through the room, loud enough to make his pathetic sobbing stop in an instant.
“Get your act together.” Mireille hisses, grabbing his chin and letting her manicured nails dig into his pretty face. “Or I will rip you apart, you worthless piece of trash.”
Only the word Worthless seems to get through to his stupid fucking pet brain. There is a reason he was made into a thoughtless object instead of anything else. His beauty is his only strength, the only reason they didn’t mercy-kill him, punish him for stealing space and air and atoms from anything with more use.
He is an ashtray or he is Nothing. And if he keeps ruining her attempts to make Something out of him, he will wish she had let him keep his voice to beg for death.
At last, the ashtray doesn’t act up any more, stays motionless and silent as she finishes the B. When she pulls his skin taut, she can feel him tremble with the effort to keep still. Seems like his training had some use after all.
Finally satisfied, Mireille lays the bloody knife aside, giving herself some time to analyze her work. Briefly, she turns to the servant to order a towel, before devoting her attention back to the signature, quickly overflowing with blood. It’s beautiful, but her interest lies somewhere else.
She digs two fingers into a line of the A, pulling the incision apart. The ashtray only manages a whimper that she gives no regard to, as she digs deeper and deeper through the tissue, against the continuous blood flow. Then, against the intense red, her own personal gold shines through.
Bone.
A pleased giggle escapes her.
It is done.
Whatever will happen, whoever will lay their eyes upon them, it will be eternally clear who he belongs to. There are nicks in his bone that her knife and her hands caused and he will forever know.
And when her stupid little ashtray comes back to his senses and remembers his silent purpose, he will thank her for it tenfold.

Why is it always Veneer? :( mom said it’s Velvet’s turn with the angst
(I love your work, don’t stop ❤️❤️)
He’s my angst! I’m sorry! Lol I have done some Velvet ones, but if you really want another one 😈 (and Ty so much! You have no idea how much I appreciate it! ❤️):
TRIGGER WARNING ‼️ GUN SHOT REFERENCE
Floyd was surrounded by his brothers, the fear of nearly loosing him cause them all to embrace. Velvet and Veneer were on their knees, still trying to regain themselves as the blast from the exploding diamond had knocked them off.
“Vel?” He laid on his sister’s shoulder, “You okay?”
Velvet’s eyes were glued to the ground. She looked towards the Trolls as they celebrated their victory: they freed Floyd, they regained their brother back. That only meant one thing….The twins failed.
“They’re going to made Ven. Really mad.” She said to him. “We lost. We lost, Ven.”
“No we didn’t. We can….we can still escape this.” Veneer told her.
“How? How on earth are we going to escape this.” She told him. Veneer was silent. She was right…they wouldn’t be happy that the Troll had escaped them…but Veneer didn’t want to catch him again either, he didn’t want to put him the hell he just escaped. Floyd saw the look of concern on the twins face. He broke free of his brothers and went towards them.
“Floyd!” Branched called out. But Floyd continued until he was face to face with the twins. He looked up at them and they looked down at him.
“We can be free. You guys can come with me.” He told them. Veneer turned to look at his sister…Her look was distant, every event that could possibly happen unfolding in her mind. What could she say? What could she do? Everything was screwed up already, the promise she made to them was already broken…it was only matter of time.
“What if you loose the Troll? What if everything we worked for comes to light? What is your collateral?” They had asked her. Velvet sat in the room, six faces surrounding her, eyeing her every move. She was silent, she was from the under-city, what could she offer them in collateral? She looked down at the bracelet on her wrist….a beautiful pink jeweled bracelet Veneer had gotten her. It was made from one of the most precious stones in Rageous, one of the rarest too. It was one of the most valuable things she’s ever owned. Velvet took it off and offered it to them.
“This is all I have of value.”
“Rare gems are definitely valuable, but not valuable enough.” Said a male Rageon. One shifted in her seat and stood up, staring down intently at Velvet….they came to know her as The Mistress.
“How about your brother?” She said with a sly smile on her face.
Velvet’s mouth gaped open, “Wh-What…”
“Your brother. If you fail, if anything we are doing is exposed, we keep your brother and do our bidding on him. That is our agreement for collateral.” She said with a twisted evil grin. Vennie? They wanted Vennie…They knew….They knew her weakness.
“What if…what if I refuse?”
“Then you two are as good as dead.”
Velvet swallowed the lump in her throat. What had she gotten them into? How could she protect Veneer from this? What could possibly catch their attention other than her brother for collateral?….
“What about me?” Velvet finally answered. This caught all their attention, “I’m the one that agree and came to you for this offer, not my brother. I give you myself as collateral. If I fail…then…I’m as good as yours, do what you want with me, but leave my brother alone.”
“Continue.”
“My life as collateral, and exchange that you spare my brother. He…he doesn’t know about this, what I am doing. I just want to bring him out of the under-city. I just want to get out of that hell hole.” Velvet looked them all square in the eye, “I’m gambling with my life here.”
“I like this girl. Very well. We accept…But don’t you dare cross us. More over, don’t you dare fail us.” The Mistress said.
“Trust me, I wont.”
And here she was, kneeling at the foot of the yacht, the Troll free from her grasp, all of Rageous watching as the events unfolded…she failed.
“What if I told them it was me?” Her brother’s voice broke her trance.
“What?”
“What if I came out publicly saying this was my plan. It was all me. I go to jail and you’d be okay.”
“Are you crazy Veneer? No!”
“It could work…”
“No Veneer! It wont!” She yelled.
“Then how can we help you? How can we get both of you out of this? We can’t just leave now.” Floyd asked. “I made a promise to get both of you out. And I still intend to keep that promise today.”
They didn’t understand…she never told them what she promised that day. They could be coming for her any minute, their eyes were everywhere, their ears, their spies, “Take Vennie. Take care of him. I’ll have to figure things out.” She said.
“What are you talking about?” Veneer asked her, a frustration growing in his voice. “What is it that you haven’t told us? That you haven’t told ME, Vels?” She looked at her brother, she saw the worry plastered across his face….it had always been them two. How could she do this to him? She never wanted to imagine life without her brother. He was that constant thing in her life that she just knew she HAD to have, like breathing air. But she never thought about him, how it would break him if she was the one that wasn’t around…He was so fragile.
“I can’t Veneer…” She said.
“Vels, tell me please!” He begged. As he grew worried his eyes danced around their surroundings, scanning the audience…What was she afraid of, were they here?
“Velvet, I swore to take care of both you. I am going to keep that promise.” Floyd said.
“You can’t Floyd…You can’t protect us both.” She said.
“Vels…” Veneer began to protest.
“Veneer you have to just listen to me for once! You…”
BANG!
The sounded of the shot echoed throughout the entire area. People screamed and ran, some dropped to the floor covering their heads, trembling in fear. Veneer had jumped over his sister, shielding her from the sound they heard, he instinctively grabbed Floyd and held him close. They waited a few moments… Silence finally radiated everywhere.
“You okay?” Veneer asked Floyd.
“Yeah. You?”
“I’m fine. Vels?” He looked down at his sister. She looked up to meet his eyes, her hands clutching her heart…That’s when Veneer saw the blood seeping through her fingers. “No…No…No…NO…” Veneer muttered as she fell limp to her said. He caught her, cradling her in his arms. “Vels! You’re going to be okay. You’re going to be okay.” He reassured her…in reality, he was reassuring himself.
Floyd stared in horror at the sight in front him. He hoped down at Velvets shoulder pad, he could feel that her breathing was heavy, her body began to shake. He placed a small hand on her cheek. “Stay with us..” He whispered.
“I told you there’s no escaping them…” She said through ragged breaths.
“This was them…You knew they were going to do this…Why didn’t you tell me…” Tears began to fall down Veneer’s cheek as he held his sister tighter.
“Cause i know you, you idiot…”
“No. No this isn’t fair! I’m going to help. I’m going to save you. Hold on. Hold on for me….please.” He begged.
“…You weren’t their target…You can still get out…Leave with Floyd…Please, leave with Floyd….Get out…” Her sentences grow shorter and breathier as she struggled to breath, as she struggled to find the strength to speak.
“Okay I will. But you’re coming too.” Veneer squeezed her.
“Ven…”
“No. YOU’RE COMING WITH ME…..I can’t…I can’t continue on without you…” He told her. This broke her, she had never prepared him for this. He had become so reliant in her presence, that she was always going to be there for him, he never thought of the day she wouldn’t be…also because he was willing to sacrifice himself for her at any moment…but the roles were reversed. If they had their way, it would be Veneer in this position, and just imagine it tore her apart. He needed to live, he deserved to live, he needed to continue his goodness in this broken, damned world.
“Ven…” She said in a whisper, “Ven….You….I….” Her eyes grew distant, her hand went limp, her breathing had stopped…she was gone.
“Vels?” Veneer gently shook his sister in his arms, “Vels?” He hugged her tight and shook her again. “Vels..no please…please…please no…” His tears escaped him. He sobbed uncontrollably as he held on to his sister, he birdied his face at the top of her head. His cries and wails echoed throughout Rageous. Floyd attempted to hold back tears…but he failed. He hugged her cheek, the feeling of her skin beginning to grow cold.
“I failed you…Velvet, I’m sorry…I failed you…” The small Troll said in between tears. The two of them stayed for what seemed like ages holding on tight to her. No one dared call security yet, no dared called the medics. Floyd looked at Veneer through tear filled eyes…
“Ven…You have to come with me, while you can…please.” He told him.
“I can’t….I can’t leave her…” He sobbed. “I don’t ….want to….leave her.”
“Ven…I don’t want to either..but..”
“Please…” He sobbed. “Just let me hold one last time…” His heart ached. Why did this happen to her? Why her? Why not him? What did she promise them? Soon the tears began to fade as a new emotion settled in his heart… the sadness was soon replaced with rage… with anger…His breathing grew heavy as he allowed his anger to fuel him.
One day, he was going to find them…. And one day, they were all going to pay…

Fabergé Eggs
Fabergé Eggs, perhaps considered one of the most famous examples of exquisite and luxurious craftsmanship to this day.
Fabergé eggs were originally commissioned by the Russian Imperial family in the late 1800s AD.
Tsar Alexander III (10 March 1845 – 1 November 1894) wanted a richly jeweled egg as an Easter gift for his wife, so Russian jeweler Peter Carl Fabergé (30 May [O.S. 18 May] 1846 – 24 September 1920) got to work and produced very first Fabergé egg in 1885 AD.
And like Easter eggs you may find hidden in your shrubs or gutters, these eggs were also intended to contain a surprise inside.
Initially, the first Fabergé egg was to contain a diamond ring, but after specific instructions given by the Emperor, the egg could be opened to find a ruby pendant instead.
Over the course of the next two decades, ten eggs were produced for the family during Alexander III’s reign, starting a dazzling tradition that his son Nicholas II (18 May [O.S. 6 May] 1868 – 17 July 1918) would carry on for his wife and his mother every Easter.
The popularity of eggs-travagant gifts spread well beyond the Imperial family, and soon, other wealthy families began commissioning their own eggs.
The eggs then began to represent great wealth and luxury that owning a Fabergé egg was considered a status symbol.
And with the skill level and time that it took to craft up just one Fabergé egg – up to one year per egg – it’s no surprise they come with such a high value.
The intricate Fabergé egg-making process began by creating a design for the egg and then the outer shell would start to come to life.
The team of goldsmiths would craft the eggs out of precious metals like gold or silver.
They were each decorated with intricate engravings, filigree work and other decorative elements.
And while his competitors used a standard palette, Fabergé wanted to experiment with more colors.
He created resplendent yellows, mauves, and all shades of greens — coming up with over one hundred and forty new colors.
Just as important as its exterior, the Fabergé egg’s interior was given just as much attention to detail.
A team of jewelers would work on creating a surprise to be hidden inside the bejeweled shell.
These surprises could be anything from miniature portraits of the recipients’ husbands to tiny replicas of famous landmarks.
The artists behind these miniature works of art were some of the best miniature painters, sculptors and engravers of that time who used a variety of material, including enamel, precious stones and even hair to create their work.
Finally, once all of the intricate pieces were complete, they were assembled by a team of skilled craftsmen to create the final product.
The egg was then presented to the recipient and would become a treasured family heirloom for years to come.
Unfortunately, the House of Fabergé was forced to close its doors during the Russian Revolution in 1917.
Fabergé and his family fled Russia.
Many of the Fabergé eggs were sold, lost or smuggled out of Russia during this time, but now, many of them are housed in museums like the famous Fabergé Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia.
However, history came full circle when in 2007, with new ownership and direction, the company announced the reunification of the brand with the Fabergé family.
This new chapter set the stage for a total revitalization of the Fabergé name and philosophy, which are in tune with its original values and spirit.

I been wondering about the "SEVEN" series. Did the boys know Jesus, or did he know him like I'm curious about how they act around him or anything that had to do with him.👁👄👁
Heelel was born/created before Jesus, and I don’t know the facts about the other fallen angels but in this series, half of them were created before B.C while the other half were created A.D. in the series, I also imagined them all knowing Jesus and even interacting with him, minus Heelel. Because man had already been created by the time Jesus was born and made his sacrifice, heelel was in that stage where he was waiting for you because the three servants of God showed him that futuristic foresight of you in the distant era of mankind. I imagined the brothers interacting and treating Jesus like a younger sibling, but never revealing who they really are. Heelel just suppressed himself, waiting for you.
I’ve thought about this before, and the way I imagined it is this…
For heelel, because he knows all and is second to only God, he has observed and seen Jesus but never cared to interact with him. Again, by the time Jesus was born, heelel had already been suppressed into his waiting period for you. When the three servants of God came to him (the same ones that took him to the altar and into the future to show you off to him) they begged for him to not do anything devious as Mary was carrying the baby Jesus inside her. Heelel tells them that he had no interest in doing anything. The three servants could tell that he was already being tamed by the image of you and that he was waiting.
Beezlebub: I imagined him interacting with Jesus during one of the plagues, where the insects were infectiously tormenting the lands inhabited by people. In this series, Jesus finds Jay so he could ask him to tame the insects for the sake of humanity. Jay explains to the young Jesus that it is best not to interfere with the happenings of the plague because it was Gods doing, and that everything happens for a reason. Jay also tells him that he shouldn’t fret, that humans are a lot stronger than what he deems them to be. It is an interaction of one laser brother to the younger where ha lesson is learned of fate.
Mammon: Mammon has had one interaction with Jesus and it ties with the infamous and historical lesson that is known among us. when he was exploring the market, Mammon walks among the mortals appearing like the lavish prince that he is, Jesus wonders if he would part with one of his precious jewels on his rings or necklaces. Jesus approaches him and asks bids Mammon to be kind and benevolent, and to take the gold off his body and give it to the poor. Mammon explains to Jesus, saying “I could do that, but what success would my gold and jewels provide? It wouldn’t be eternal.” Jesus looks confused and asked mammon what does he mean, to which mammon tells him “if you give man a fish, you feed him for one day. Teach him to fish, and you feed him for all eternity.” (I know it’s not verbatim and that’s on purpose y’all lol) Jesus learns another valued lesson and lives by that motto.
Asmodeus: I imagined Asmodeus meeting Jesus in regards to Mary Magdalene. Again, this series is based off the Bible, the seven princes and historical facts, but adjusted for the sake of the story. So there is a mixture of facts and fiction in this. In this case, Mary Magdalene was being prepared to be stoned to death under the accusation of being an adulteress. Jesus witnessed the preparations and watched as she was being tied to a post, but Asmodeus mysteriously walks over and stands beside Jesus among the crowd. He stands casually as he also watches and starts a side conversation with Jesus…
“Do you ever wonder what the future of mankind will hold?”
Jesus remains silent and stares to ponder on the young man’s words. When Asmodeus tells him…
“One persons sin will create more sinners. These men, women, and children will partake in a ceremonious death…but I wonder…did she truly do it? Or does mankind still have much to learn, and are merely acting out of youth, stupidity, and presumption?” With that, Asmodeus walks out calmly leaving Jesus to think of his words, and on impulse of what he felt was right, he stops the act and takes in Mary as one of his disciples.
Satan: like heelel, he didn’t have any interaction with Jesus. He minded his own business but had one moment of weakness where he came to contact with Jesus. In the series, after Jesus was mounted in the cross, the cross was staked to the ground crooked. Satan walks up calmly after the crowd left after witnessing the sacrifice, and left Jesus to die. Satan stands and looks up, and can already tell through his ability that Jesus took his last breath. He stands expressionless and before he takes his leave, he comes up and with his extraordinary strength, he effortlessly pushes the cross and straightens it, before walking away. It’s not certain if he did it out of sympathy or just because (Sunghoon is a very mysteriously and very complicated character in Satan. You’ll see…)
Leviathan: Leviathan didn’t have any interaction with Jesus but sort of became responsible for his baptism. In the series, a young man named John speaks out of curiosity on how to commit Jesus’s soul to God. He ponders aloud nearby a pond and Leviathan comes along and starts a side convo with him.
“Something on your mind, my friend?” Levi merely stands next to the pond as John remains seated under the tree. “I wonder how to commit a soul to the will of God.”
Leviathan comes up to the man and takes out a water container that he filled up at the pond. Taking a knee, he tells John as he presents his hand to him.
“See my hand?”
“Yes…”
Levi pours water over his hand. “Water cleanses and soothes it. It washes away the dirt, and cleanses any blood. Everything is removed…” leviathan shows his hand off in front of John. “The water, it symbolizes a fresh start, a clean one. No matter how dirtied it shall become, it will always become clean again. Yet, at the end of the day, it is a hand, and it stays as a hand; committed to my body. No matter how many times it becomes dirty and cleansed, it will always stay true to my flesh and bone.”
In the series, leviathans words inspired John to become John rhetorical Baptist and he aids in confirming Jesus’s identity as the Messiah.
Belphegor: belphegor (Niki) has had multiple interactions with Jesus. He’s older, and out of the Seven princes of Hell, Niki probably is the most open minded. He is very neutral and likes to learn a lot about everything, and doesn’t really like conflict (which was the cause of him being banished from heaven.) Niki first met Jesus in a village, knowing who he was already (as did his brothers). But Niki sort of took on a role as an elder brother type, like a mentor, since he was the youngest out of his brothers and knew the importance of mentorship. He would speak to Jesus on topics of music, love, sacrifice, war and peace. I imagined Niki being the one to influence Jesus in loving thy neighbor and enjoying the fruits of life.

TREMBLING HANDS AND SHIMMER FUCK ME UP
HELLO YES LET ME INSTEAD GIVE YOU THE GIFT OF MY GIRLIES FUCKING IT UP under the cut due to being mildly spicy/nsfw
Ragged panting. Which one of them it was, that escaped her- where one ended and the other started remained a mystery too though. So maybe it didn't really matter who's lungs were straining, just as it didn't matter whose hands were trembling, fumbling, blunted talons ghosting oh so gently over scarred, soft skin and sharpened nails scraping against hard plate without consequence. The cabin lights were low, a dim glow that was just sufficient to hazily make out their surroundings and everything within both of their grasps- not that Vetra thought she had any need the rest of the toys they'd planned on using- the ones she'd planned on using at least. She curled her fingers and was rewarded with a jolt of surprising pleasure as her girlfriend's hand tensed on the little black remote. Spirits what a good idea- ah. The click of a button, loud as a gunshot over their strained breathing and the half-swallowed moans from both, quiet only because there were still limits to how much noise they could bear to make onboard the ship; there was never enough soundproofing after all. It didn't matter though, she decided, that they were ever-conscious of being overheard. How was she supposed to care about anything but the arch of her girlfriends back? How was she meant not to sear the image of her, caught in ecstasy, into her mind? How was she not meant to value her, skin shimmering like jewels in the half-light cast by the floor to ceiling window as more precious than any stone or metal? A lifetime ago, she'd cynically admitted to not believing in anything but, in hindsight, perhaps the decision to place what little faith she'd had in Sara Ryder had paid off with a whole new religion to worship.

The History and Significance of Burmese Rubies
Rubies have long captivated humanity with their fiery red brilliance and storied past. Among these, Burmese rubies stand out, renowned for their exceptional quality and deep, vibrant color. At [Rewa Jewelry](https://rewa.jewelry/), we take pride in offering some of the finest Burmese rubies, each gemstone a testament to the rich history and cultural significance that these gems carry.
Origins of Burmese Rubies
Burmese rubies originate from the Mogok Valley in Myanmar, a region often referred to as the "Valley of Rubies." This area has been the world's primary source of rubies for centuries. The geological conditions in Mogok are unique, allowing the formation of rubies with a pigeon blood-red hue, the most coveted shade for these gemstones.
The history of Burmese ruby mining dates back over a thousand years. Ancient Burmese texts reference these precious stones, and they have been part of local lore and legend. The Mogok Valley's mines were initially worked by hand, and despite modern advances, much of the ruby extraction in this region is still performed using traditional methods, preserving the historical practices.
Legendary Status and Cultural Significance
Burmese rubies have always been more than just beautiful stones; they hold significant cultural and mystical importance. Throughout history, they have been symbols of wealth, power, and protection. In Burmese culture, these gems were believed to possess protective properties, warding off evil and bringing good fortune to their owners.
Royal Connections
Throughout history, Burmese rubies have adorned the crowns and regalia of royalty. Kings and queens across Asia and Europe coveted these gemstones for their unrivaled beauty and purported protective qualities. The famed British Crown Jewels, for example, include several notable Burmese rubies, reflecting their historical value and significance.
Mystical Properties
Beyond their physical beauty, Burmese rubies have been ascribed various mystical properties. In ancient times, warriors would embed rubies into their skin, believing the stones would make them invincible in battle. Moreover, these rubies were thought to bring peace and prosperity, protect against illnesses, and even improve the wearer's leadership abilities.
Burmese Rubies in Modern Times
Today, Burmese rubies continue to be highly prized by gem enthusiasts and collectors worldwide. Their rarity and unmatched color make them a worthy investment and a treasured heirloom. At [Rewa Jewelry](https://rewa.jewelry/), we are committed to sourcing these gems ethically, ensuring that each ruby not only meets the highest standards of quality but also contributes positively to the communities involved in their mining and trade.

Chapter Seven: Field Trip
Conner followed Jason around the museum and couldn’t help but smile at Jason’s childlike wonder. “This is cat’s eye prehnite… I remember when they added it to the exhibit because Catwoman broke in and tried to steal it,” Jason declared, “It usually wouldn’t be worth much monetarily speaking because it’s only a semi-precious stone… But cat’s eye prehnite is extremely rare and at nearly five carats-. Oh! It used to belong to an heiress who mysteriously disappeared in 1923 while visiting her paternal grandmother. Legend says the prehnite jewel was the key to an even greater fortune, but nobody can figure it out.”
Hearing Jason gush about history, value, and legends was more amusing than the exhibits. Someone tried to push past Jason by moving his chair.
“Hey, you ever heard of saying excuse me, chump?” Conner snapped.
The guy gave him the finger, and Conner advanced forward. Jason grabbed his wrist. “Conner, it’s okay—.”
“It’s not okay. It’s rude. You don’t just—. Sorry, you were talking about the prehnite,” Conner whispered. He took a breath, and Jason smiled.
“Thanks for speaking up, but I get treated like this all the time… And I don’t like to make a scene when I speak up for myself,” Jason sweetly corrected him. Conner bowed his head as his cheeks heated up. “Still, I’m grateful that you spoke up for me.”
“Anytime… Um… You were talking about the rocks,” Conner replied, gesturing toward a dagger.
“Typical Gotham cult story. It’s an ornate dagger with a ceramic handle, one blue diamond with a Marquise cut,” Jason described, “The noteworthy thing about the story is that one of Bruce’s—. My dad’s relatives on his mother’s side… His great-grandfather’s niece got involved with a cult that convinced her that Gotham’s most elite families owed a sacrifice to ensure the success of future generations. She tried to kill her three-year-old son to ensure her daughter's success from a previous marriage, but she said she was overcome by a mysterious force and turned the knife on herself. She survived, but no one ever saw her again…
“However, I did some deep diving and found a book. The author claims it was a work of fiction, but the book’s events resembled the cult’s killings in perfect detail despite the killings happening ninety years before her birth. She was a little older than my dad’s mom.”
“Your grandma?” Conner asked.
“Not really… I didn’t know Martha, and I was adopted way after she died,” Jason replied, “My grandma’s in prison.”
“For what?” Conner questioned as Jason led him to the next exhibit.
“Child endangerment, among a laundry list of other things,” Jason replied casually.
“The botanical gardens,” Jason smiled, “It’s my second favorite exhibit.”
“How do you know so much about everything in this museum? It’s like you know a fun fact about everything here,” Conner chuckled, “It’s cool.”
“Wow, um-.” Jason’s cheeks went rosy, adding color to his near-alabaster face. “Um… I used to come here a lot… And I’ve been on the virtual tour over a hundred and twenty times.”
“Why?” Conner questioned. The question was innocent enough, but the tightness in Jason’s chest said otherwise.
“I was in the hospital a lot, and when I got out of the hospital, I was stuck at home in a body cast,” Jason answered, “This is my first full week of being out and about again.” Conner frowned and kicked at the air.
“So, you must be thrilled to be outside again… I mean—. Sorry, that was dumb. I’m glad we got to spend time together,” Conner stumbled over his words. “I should stop talking.”
Jason giggled. “No, keep talking. I needed the laugh,” Jason joked.
Jason didn’t want to say it aloud, but it was exciting to be outside again. It was strange to have a free range of Gotham after everything. He thought Bruce would never let him leave the manor again. His phone vibrated, reminding him to take his medication. “Wanna grab a bite to eat?” Jason questioned. “My treat.”
Conner nodded. They left the museum and walked down the street. They ordered fries and a malt. Conner dipped his fries in his shake while Jason took his medication. “Conner, can I ask you a personal question?” Jason innocently asked as he drank milk before spooning his malt out of the cup.
“Go ahead,” Conner replied.
Jason glanced at Conner and cocked his head. “What’s the deal with the stunts? What do you get for doing all that?” Jason questioned.
“Mostly flack. I get a cut from whatever merch my manager can sell, and I get to travel around,” Conner answered, “And it’s supposed to get my image out there and help me gain the people’s trust.”
“You recited that line perfectly, but I call bull. Stunts aren’t gonna help you gain squat. You look like an overconfident carnival attraction. They’re robbing you of your personhood by making you act like a circus clown for change,” Jason replied. He didn’t mean to be harsh, but Jason hated people taking advantage of Conner.
“Do you think I’m a showboat?” Conner questioned. He bowed his head out of shame and refused to meet eyes with Jason.
Jason rushed to swallow his malt and fries because he didn’t want Conner upset. “Mmph… No. You helped me and didn’t tell anyone, even though it would’ve boosted your image. Then you ensured I got home safe because you were worried about me. You’re a good person, Conner,” Jason reassured him.
“How do I get other people to believe that?” Conner questioned.
“Okay, I’m no manager, but I know PR. Try to back off from the press. They can twist your words any way they want. The less you say, the better… No more stunts. Only show up when you’re actually needed, and don’t make a mess. If you do, people love a good clean-up job. Don’t be performative… Be personal. Pay attention to what the city needs and become that,” Jason advised, “ It's a slow process, but people will like you if you're real with them. You've got the big 'S', but what are you gonna do to carry its legacy?"
"But, I wanna make it my own. I don't even want people to treat me like the next Superman… I barely know the guy", "Conner replied.
"You don't? I figured the big guy would have you on speed dial," Jason mumbled in shock.
"Nah, we try to stay out of each other's way. It's weird between us," Conner replied.
Jason frowned. "So, you don't have any adults in your life? And no, your manager doesn't count," Jason muttered. Conner shook his head and took a spoonful of Jason's malt. "Give me a spoonful of your peanut butter." Conner grinned. Jason made Conner feel normal, and Conner made Jason feel the same way. They were just two teenage boys when they were together and nothing else. It felt good to forget. Even if it was only for a while.

Asmo Appreciation Week, Day 3: Best Cards, Part 2!
Welcome again, everyone!
I'll cut a bit more to the chase today, since we're in a continuation from yesterday's post. Yesterday I covered #20-11 of the Asmodeus cards that make my heart beat faster, and today I'll show #10-1! These are a lot more potent and have a lot higher potential to melt my soul.
Let us begin~
#10: Guided By Desire
Starting off the top 10 with more nostalgia! While one of two SSR cards people were VERY likely to get in the beginning, it doesn't annoy me seeing him show up...much (I get sooo many ravens now, UGH). BUT, repetitiveness aside, circumstances REALLY put this card high on the list. Even to this DAY it is one of my most powerful cards, even topping a lot of the URs I have on the OG app, so I HAVE to give credit. And even without it...just look at that face, you can't deny its adorableness! (Plus a rare shot where Asmo has pink and neon green nails before they decided on pink and teal!)
#9: Purgatory Hall Sleepover!
Hey look, it's the card that most likely inspired the 2022-23 pajama set! Being the first birthday UR this boy had (and having to wait a full year from its implementation date), I was was EXCITED to see this card art alone. The theming made it even better; sleepovers are another topic that just send me over the moon, and that LITERALLY being the title of the card set in stone that I needed it like water. Thankfully, no money had to be spent, hooray!
#8: Photogenic Asmo
If you thought #16 was colorful, #8 said hold my demonus. This is CUTE in every sense of the word. An overall cafe theme (mixing retro diners and maid cafes without the maids), Asmo in that uniform, and that look on his face getting pics of the sweets?! This was the card that started my completionist journey of getting every card of his, and thankfully, the catalyst was received in a recent revival Nightmare!
#7: Your Personal Venus
This card, this card... The end of February was a wild time for my OM! account. This event plus the Nightmare that was attached were attacking me from both sides in terms of cards I want, and could NOT catch a break (you might be able to guess a card down lower if you think about it ^^). But thankfully, it meant this card was mine within three days of the event start! The initial image is precious (just look at those eyes!), and this one? This was an attack on my soul, how is he able to rock anything and make me love him even more?!
#6: Time for the Main Event!
I grinded in this event when it came out in 2020. Nearly 4 years later, I'm still trying to get him. There's definitely reasons why, considering it's only barely out of the top 5. The Cinderella/fairytale aesthetic is a major reason, bringing to question what Asmo would be like if HE was the titular heroine instead of the fairy godmother in the actual event. In addition, this was the first event where I truly saw him as a gnc icon and ROCKING this dress (I can't unsee the garter belt either, so neither will you now, hehe), and further made me scream whenever future cards indulged this. Now, please hurry up and come home...
#5: Return My Glow
We all know from both the OG and NB that Asmo valued his time as the angel dubbed the "jewel of the heavens", despite slowly forgetting that image of himself. While the event the card was attached to is DEFINITELY controversial amongst the fandom, it still means a lot to me. I grinded my booty off to get it on the last day, and the image (specifically this DF unlock) has the power to make me feel better even on some of my darkest days. It even doubles so when you look at the similar image found in his initial UR in NB (more on that soon!).
#4: The Devildom's Mermaid
Outside of the missed potential to make him an ACTUAL mermaid in one of the arts, this was the first UR+ Asmo ever received, so its iconic status already lends itself to a high placement. Theming is also high here, as WHO can resist the beach episode, tell me, who?! There's also a bit of retroactive mirroring with the anime that happens in my head. I can totally see at one point on that private beach he set up a picture just like this to send to his followers, and that expression sent many (including myself) into an iconic squealing mess.
#3: Demons Catch Colds?!
If you guessed this card at #7, you win a virtual cookie! It is no secret to anyone who knows me well that one of my favorite tropes in fiction is the sick day, one person laying in perceived misery while another tends to their needs. In addition, if you include anything in your work with a medical/dental theme, you will have me eating out of the palm of your hand. This card has both. I was a mess back in April of '21 thanks to this blasted card. Fun fact, this was the first Nightmare card I spent money to get (Solomon decided to block my advances one too many times using the same attribute and I was at my limit 😡)! I only pull out the actual cash when I'm hooked, so you KNOW it was serious. XD Lastly, I said I wasn't taking Devilgrams into account, but I wanted to mention how the one attached to this card is so sweet. If you ever have the chance to read it, DO IT!
#2: Princess Asmo's Escape
They ACTUALLY referenced it!! If you've seen the anime, you know about Episode 5 and the insanity that occurred when Asmo was literally wearing the crown. And the fact that the devs saw it was iconic enough to make a UR+ out of?! I have a lot of gripes with Solmare, but this one of the times they got it RIGHT. He is a Disney princess, you can NOT change my mind, and the composition of this initial image is so pretty I want to make a print of it to hang in my room. It's almost the perfect card! Almost...
Because the top card of all to me is...
#1: A Song From the Heart
This is my absolute dream card, and the closest to the definition of a perfect one you will ever get. So many elements combine to make this both fitting in terms of character and concept. In the initial image we get the cute, goofy side of him (and a shot of him in glasses?!), calmly playing an acoustic. In the DF unlock, that side turns passionate and bombastic, switching to an electric and belting into the mic under the stage lights. It references both the obvious and not-so-obvious of parts of his character. We know that he loves being under the spotlight, but we don't get much in terms of his love for music, specifically rock music as the designs imply. The outfit is also one of my personal favorites, as is many that don't go on the Majolish racks (pleeeeeease let this one be wearable one day!). It even has a bit of a meta connection as well. His VA, Miura Ayme, has PLENTY of musical connections, not just recording OPs for the game but being an active visual kei artist with a HEAVY leaning on rock as a style. So to see a card not only tie back to a character but to the voice actor at the same time? There's nothing I see that's better than that.
And that's my list! What did you think? Any cards I missed in terms of their positives? Let me know if you have any you want to mention, as well!

The Pueblo Jewelers of the Southwest
In the world of Pueblo artisans, the jewelry makers are second in number to the pottery makers. Over the generations, this ancient craft has taken on numerous forms. On the meticulous end of the spectrum, there are those who make tiny beads, called heishi, first produced at today's Santo Domingo (Kewa) Pueblo in prehistoric times, with hand-pump drills and stone drill bits, and then strung as necklaces. From there, Pueblo jewelry runs from semi-precious stones set in silver to contemporary works, made with gold and precious gemstones. In between are tufa-castings (a process using a carved volcanic stone as a mold for molten silver or gold); hammered metal; handmade silver beads; choruses of tiny bird effigies carved from stone and strung; classic concho belts; large seashells covered in mosaic stonework; and some of the most prized lapidary work in the world, famously done by Zuni Pueblo artists. There are works in stainless steel cut to a fine edge, "shadow boxes" (where a design is cut out of a sheet of burnished silver, which is then affixed to an underlying piece of blackened silver, thereby creating an image in negative space), as well as bracelets, rings, bolo ties, and belt buckles, all worn today by design-savvy buyers from around the world.
Steve LaRance, of Hopi and Assiniboine heritage, gets his tufa on the Hopi Reservation from deposits created by the San Francisco Peaks. To gather what he needs, he has to drive a four-wheel drive pickup, find an isolated spot, and spend a day digging with shovels and picks. The tufa comes out in chunks, in sizes that range from bowling ball to suitcase. This will generally provide enough raw material for a year's work.
Steve and his wife and jewelry-making partner, Marian Denipah, moved from Arizona some years back to Marian's homelands, just a stone's throw from the lazy Rio Grande on Ohkay Owingeh land in northern New Mexico. In addition to their various lines of jewelry, they have also produced a batch of children and grandchildren that have made marks of their own. One daughter is a physician; another, along with her brother, spent a decade as principal dancers for Cirque du Soleil. Today, Steve and Marian oversee a Native youth dance troupe called the Lightning Boy Foundation, which travels the world in an effort to spread Pueblo values and skills.
Santo Domingo is one of the Rio Grande Pueblos in Northern New Mexico. For centuries the Pueblo people have been mining turquoise at Cerrillos, south of what is now Santa Fe, and have been acquiring other turquoise from as far away as Nevada, California and Colorado.
The Pueblo jewelers traveled south to the Gulf and west to the Pacific for shell when they couldn't trade for it. Jet and red colored rock was found nearby and used in mosaics and other jewelry. Eventually coral was introduced by the Spanish and replaced the red rock. These colorful stones were made into beads and mosaics for decoration and ceremonies.
The people of Santo Domingo became known for making the best disc beads and, along with the Zuni people, for producing the best inlay in turquoise, jet, shell and coral on shell and wood bases. The jewelers of Santo Domingo still produce the finest handmade beads and mosaics. Many of their children acquire drills and learn to make beads at a very young age. You can shop online for authentic Pueblo jewelry at PuebloDirect.com.

Gold Is The Image Of Wealth
Certain individuals like gold for its excellence and wear it as jewels; different people feel more secure when they own a specific measure of the precious metal. The third class - the numismatists - consolidates a tad bit of the previous two; their click here energy for it is both associated with the magnificence it adds to the plan of a coin and with the value old gold coins or bullion coins have.
Before the state lottery showed up, when somebody pondered getting rich short-term, she envisioned discovering a money box. Gold and wealth remain closely connected since the start of times. It has always been associated with divine beings and eminence because being an unadulterated metal was considered. The Egyptian public considered it to truly deserve their supreme god, Ra and of their different divine beings. As the pharaohs were the divine beings' delegates on earth they additionally had the pleasure of owning objects made of this metal, similar to plates or challises. They could decorate themselves with gold jewels and even have strings woven in their articles of clothing. The funerary veils of pharaohs and of their sovereigns were made of gold and enriched with gemstones.
Old Romans were more pragmatic and used it principally as coins. Yet, what can be commented in their way of life, as well, is that main rich people wore gold jewelry. In a few social orders this precious metal was extremely challenging to mine and for that reason just slaves and lawbreakers were relegated. All that gold was used for the joy of the upper social classes, similar to the ruler and the wealthy citizens.
In numerous countries there is as yet the practice that the illustrious houses have a depository comprising of special jewels made of gold and precious stones. How much the yellow metal used for these things is very enormous communicating the wealth and the influence of sovereignty. While the majority of us are proud in owning a fine jewelry, or a ring made of it those jewels are weighty and luxurious works result of the imaginativeness of the best goldsmiths in that country.

The Enduring Allure of Gold in Fine Jewelry: A Journey Through History
Gold has been a universal symbol of beauty, power, and wealth across cultures and centuries. Its inherent elegance and enduring value have cemented its role in fine jewellery, making it a treasured choice for adornment, celebration, and investment. At 24 Gold Group Ltd., we are inspired by the fascinating journey of gold in fine jewellery, from its ancient origins to its modern-day appeal.
Ancient Civilizations: The First Goldsmiths
The story of Gold in Fine Jewellery begins thousands of years ago, with early civilizations such as the Egyptians and Mesopotamians. Ancient Egyptians regarded gold as the flesh of the gods, wearing it not just as adornment but as a symbol of divine power. Their artisans crafted beautiful gold jewelry, using techniques like hammering and engraving to create intricate pieces for royalty and high priests. These gold items were often buried with their owners to accompany them into the afterlife, underscoring the precious status of gold.
In Mesopotamia, gold was equally revered, used to create jewelry, ceremonial objects, and gifts for the elite. Gold jewelry became a means of expressing wealth, power, and spiritual devotion—a tradition that would endure throughout history.
Greece and Rome: Artistic Expansion
In ancient Greece and Rome, gold jewelry expanded beyond religious and ceremonial use. Greek goldsmiths drew inspiration from nature, mythology, and daily life, developing techniques such as granulation and repoussé to produce breathtaking, lifelike designs. Greek gold jewelry often depicted images of deities, animals, and plants, imbuing pieces with both artistic and cultural significance.
The Romans embraced gold in a range of fine jewelry, from rings and bracelets to elaborate necklaces. Their innovative use of gold in coins and jewelry contributed to the metal’s association with wealth and sophistication. Gold jewelry became a popular symbol of status among Rome’s elite, worn as an emblem of power and often passed down through generations.
The Renaissance: Rebirth of Gold Jewellery Craftsmanship
During the Renaissance, gold jewelry experienced a revival, fueled by exploration and the influx of gold from the New World. Jewelers developed techniques to incorporate colored gemstones alongside gold, and the concept of personalized jewelry emerged. Goldsmiths started creating customized rings, pendants, and brooches, marking the beginning of gold jewelry as a way to express individuality and personal stories.
In the following centuries, gold jewelry styles evolved further with movements like Baroque and Rococo, where jewelry design became even more intricate and ornate. Gold was set with precious stones, showcasing the metal’s versatility as a canvas for both grandeur and delicacy.
The 20th Century: Gold in Fine Jewellery Meets Modern Design
In the 20th century, gold in fine jewellery continued to evolve, shaped by the bold aesthetic of Art Deco and later the minimalist styles of the mid-century. Art Deco pieces featured geometric shapes and vibrant colors, using gold as the foundation for eye-catching designs that defined an era. By the late 20th century, gold jewelry became more accessible and versatile, with modern jewelers experimenting with different finishes, styles, and combinations with other metals.
Gold Jewellery Today: A Timeless Choice
Today, gold remains an essential component of fine jewelry, appreciated for its versatility, durability, and timeless appeal. Gold in fine jewellery symbolizes beauty and investment, blending historical elegance with modern trends. From minimalistic designs to intricate statement pieces, gold continues to enchant wearers, whether for special occasions or everyday luxury.

Diamond: Understanding the King of Gems #1
Diamonds, known as the "king of gems" and the "flower of gems," are the quintessential symbol of engagement. Historically, they were exclusive to royalty and nobility, believed to protect their owners from disasters, and have since been used as tokens of marriage vows.
The value of a diamond is assessed not only by its weight but also by its color, clarity, and cut style. In the 17th century, Venetian jeweler Vincenzo Peruzzi developed a new cutting technique known as the "brilliant cut," which involves cutting a diamond into 58 facets according to mathematical proportions, maximizing its brilliance through the refraction of light.
Diamonds are made of pure carbon, with each carbon atom bonded to four other carbon atoms in a tetrahedral shape, making them the hardest known material on Earth. They were first discovered in India around 800 BC, and today they are mined in regions such as South Africa, Brazil, Russia, and Canada.
The use of diamonds as engagement rings began when Archduke Maximilian of Austria gifted a diamond ring to the princess of the Burgundy Kingdom in France as a symbol of his proposal. Diamonds are the birthstone for April and have long symbolized victory and unchanging love. Among them, the Hope Diamond, known for its mysterious deep blue beauty, is famous for its legend of bringing misfortune despite its name.
The weight of diamonds is measured in carats. The term "carat" comes from the Greek word for the seed of the carob tree, which was historically used as a weight for measuring precious stones. One carat equals 0.2 grams. Of the diamonds mined, only about 20% are used as gemstones, while the rest are used for industrial abrasives. They are the most durable natural substance and hold unparalleled value among materials of the same weight.
Each diamond at Viewzen is not just a stone but a carefully selected masterpiece chosen for its brilliance, cut, and clarity.
