When they are next to each other, they struggle. When they are apart, they pay attention and even help one another. They’re pretty funny. We had a great thanksgiving break but this morning we rolled right back into homeschool. The littles are really happy getting back to their routine. I added a little exercise time to begin their day and get the wiggles out after being off for the holiday week. For my eldest I am completely out of scheduled but he’s happy independently working and adding some art to his cursive work. it’s a kiwicrate building day ☀️ . . While they build I’m planning to read our read aloud, and also do some sorting of our pantry closet (where the boxes we’ve completed are). . . I absolutely love these crates and if you’re wondering how to repurpose the boxes... I’ve brainstormed a few ideas since starting my closet cleaning projects a few weeks back (nearly done just the pantry + laundry room to go.. I took a detour to clean up our cabinets under our bathroom sinks, pics up in my instastories). . . Anyhow here’s how I’m using them. . . :: holiday gifts for next year. I’m using contact paper to cover them over + placing some glass kitchen jars with a theme of either nuts, or condiments/spices in them. . . :: Father’s Day grooming or shoe kit. . . :: birthday movie night box. a dvd with some popcorn, and a few other things to round out the box. . . :: mother’s day spa in a box. What We’re Reading About in History Today 📚 . . The Medes + the Persians in #storyoftheworldbook1 🌎 . . We’re also reading the story about #kingmidas based off of King Croesus whom #cyrusthegreat defeated (the purported richest king at the time 💰). . . I’m loving the easy map 🗺work included, the coloring pages and short stories - packed with so much info but in digestible chunks. . . This lesson also has a sweet Conquer Mesopotamia board game style review we’re planning to play after dinner today as a family. . .
