Eine Zeichnung vom Sonntag, diesmal die alten Speicher im Magdeburger Industriehafen. Das rostige Gebilde, das im Vordergrund den Blick auf das Gebäude versperrt, ist das vergammelte Heck des Kettenschleppdampfers "Gustav Zeuner", der rechts daneben an Land aufgebockt zur Besichtigung bereitsteht.

Das Runde ist in diesem Fall nicht im, sondern vor dem Eckigen, und ich bin im Nachhinein sehr glücklich mit meiner Entscheidung, das den Blick verstellende Objekt nicht einfach wegignoriert zu haben. Ohne wäre das Bild um einiges langweiliger geworden!

I completely forgot to take a picture on location, but here is a mid-afternoon doodle sitting on Citadel Hill while chatting and contemplating how much fun it would be to toboggan directly into traffic.

There's a great exhibit in there chronicling the 300 years that this was one of the top four most heavily defended spots in the British Empire despite never seeing combat, and yet somehow despite our strategic location @rhinocio was still able to sneak up undetected.
