I recently completed Rogue Trader as heretic. Honestly, I'm excited about the secret companions (even though Uralon is just terrible in fights), but there's just too little interaction with them. It’s especially unfortunate that they hardly react to what’s happening around them. Even when you have to face Xavier.

Only Winterscale spoke up when he saw the other RT versions (it was cool). But at the same time, Uralon was silent. And it was strange. I mean, dude, there's literally a version of me standing in front of you, worshiping a Corpse Emperor. Say something (next time I'll take only him in final task, maybe he'll finally react at smth)

I just adore these dialogues. He choose to be happy :3

And also take these funny scenes with Uralon (he's like a weird grandpa) and Winterscale. Hope one day to play as Dogmatic and take Incendia as companion. She is too underrated.

Rogue Trader asks Uralon to join him in the bath and takes part in a transformative and sensual ritual of cleansing.

A fic I wrote for Secret Sanguinala for @fourgods-nobrakes

Since there's no Uralon bath scene in the game (unless they added it after I've checked), I really wanted to write one! And when I saw a prompt for that in the exchange... Oh boy.

A bit of rambling about the ritual itself below.

It was such an interesting challenge to write a ritual that is both flesh-positive and not overtly sexual. A lot of real-life rituals tend to veer too far in one direction or the other, so I had to really reflect on the spiritual and physical aspects each Chaos God embodies.

I think the dichotomy of Chaos being predominantly portrayed as "evil," contrasted with the Word Bearers' more positive perspective, creates this idea of radical acceptance. Their philosophy feels more aligned with eastern philosophies or ancient teachings—the ones that don’t revolve around a concept of sin.

I also wanted to steer clear of the classic blood-fueled orgy trope and instead focus on answering the question: "What would a ritual designed to attune you to the foundational concepts of Chaos look like?"

I gave it my all in this fic, and honestly, it gave me so much to think about. I’m really excited to revisit this concept in future works!

Fun fact—I seriously considered studying Theology at university, and I think it shows, haha!
