Its been years but i still periodically think abt the Frill episode from wep. Possibly the hardest self-contained ep in a series ever.

Not only have I not seen enough hate towards Acca and Ura-Acca, I haven't seen any hint of hate or anything towards them.

Why not finish what they started? I just watched Wonder Egg Priority and when I say I watched it. I mean I only watched the 11th episode.

People aren't blaming Acca and Ura-Acca enough for me. They created Frill in the first place. What kind of morons don't create a fail safe? Like why was she able to kill in the first place. Jealousy is just the worst emotion to give something. I know they said it was just for fun. But this is literally what you get when you play God.

Ura-Acca calling is out here calling her a monster like he didn't have a hand in her becoming. There's just not enough self hate from either one of them for me. They clearly didn't make her right if her first response was murder. They should have destroyed Frill from the start instead of letting her chill in a shed for years doing who knows what.

I feel like it is incredibly rude to say someone “didn’t get” a show if they dislike it but I think if ur someone who Liked all of what wonder egg was doing up until episode 11 and the special I kind of think you just didn’t get those episodes… ur supposed to be skeptical of and offended by the explanation ura-acca gives. Because it is obviously untrustworthy and neglectful of like. Reason. His narrative overwrites the feelings and reality of the girls and Guy we’ve seen throughout the show

Frill is a character from the anime “wonder egg priority”.

The girl (or whatever you can call her but she is referred to by all female pronouns and titles so yeah) was created by 2 men. Acca and Ura-acca. They modeled her after a daughter. She was supposed to be energetic, smart, and other positive traits but also had bad traits (aka they didn’t want to make a Mary Sue) like selfishness. But one thing they forgot to add was…empathy.

One of the Acca’s (I forgot which one) gets married to a woman and she at some point becomes pregnant. Slowly starting to neglect the child and just starting to treat her like a robot like if they didn’t raise her like a normal child before , Frill out of jealousy and selfishness murders the woman when she was bathing by throwing a hairdryer to the bathtub. The baby barely manages to survive. Meanwhile one of the scientists just puts her in a cabin for like 15 years. The end:D

just. fuckkkk man. they had such a good start. i dont even completely hate the sci fi elements i honestly rlly like some of it. the parallel universe stuff and everything with ai scracthes my brain sooo good and frill and the ura acca guys were. interesting i guess. and maybe it had potential to add to the show but its a 12 ep anime there was NOT enough time to explore that fully without rushing everything and like the friends not coming back would be tragic but wouldn’t necessarily like. be bad if everything else wasn’t soooo unsatisfying. could have been something about grief and having to move on and let them go since they’ll never really be back but now you have friends and new connections formed through your shared grief but NO!!!!! evil fucked up world.

It makes the truth feel too uncomfortable and more, I am the only crazy person who sees how Acca and Ura-acca are also guilty but no one highlights it, no one sees it and even more so when they include more girls in this.

I don't see the same thing for the two adults who played god by creating a little girl/pet/jester to keep them entertained so they could get something real and leave one abandoned girl who was created and programmed like this, expecting perfection from her when she also has errors and defects like every human being but without empathy, without what you see and acquire with human interaction.

I will never understand why only Frill has all the blame, and no one else when it is more complex.

I think wonder egg priority was good for the most part but episode 11 showing frill get chucked down the stairs and kicked around when she was created to be a Child, and then majority of the fanbase saying she deserved it and saying really violent shit about her, always really put me off and made me uncomfortable
