I'm going back and forth with myself on a decision about using damaged toys on my recycled toy earrings. Like, I absolutely use ones with initials of the original kids, cause I feel it respects the story and original purpose of what a toy is made for. But does that apply to one that is actually damaged? Like this bunny missing part of its ear.
Please share my poll to increase my sample size. Also please ignore my typo, I can't edit the poll itself 😖
I currently only sell these in a physical store in Anoka, Minnesota called Random Hippie. If I feel that this is something people would actually be interested in on my larger scale, I am considering opening an online store as well, possibly Etsy, so interaction online really helps me gauge how popular they would actually be.

no, see, I get this is probably for barbie doll collectors (hence the price), but this is the equivalent of selling pre-ripped jeans. if I were a mattel employee, i would collab with crayola and make kits that kids can use to mod their barbies. washable markers, safety scissors, stamps, stickers (especially extra eye stickers) extra heads/arms/legs (upcycled from old stock?), maybe some wigs, something rubbery for the child to chew on so they can focus on sculpting their barbie masterpiece, etc. i wish i had any of my old toys so i can show you all. what they blossomed into within my gentle 8 year old hands.

Lazy Days busts!
Consider this a sneak peek, ha ha. These are the six "core" family members of my Meet the Robinsons Lazy Days AU! It includes: Neil and Franny, plus their four kids: Wilbur, Freddie, Mazie, and Leo.
And now, five fun facts about each character!
Cornelius - He got his ears pierced just so he could wear those ear rings for Franny. - Wherever he spends a lot of time, sticky notes are sure to be there. - He can't function without his morning, afternoon, and evening cup of coffee. - He always has some sort of plug in his ears. Not because his family is annoying, but because noise can overwhelm him. - Neil hasn't brushed his hair in... uh... how long has it been? Well, if he can't remember, it's been too long.
Franny - Her frogs have a special little section of the garden all for them. - She's not much of a coffee person. She prefers hot chocolate. - Franny almost never wears pants. It's dresses and sleep shorts for her! - There's a whole drawer in their dresser just dedicated to her sock collection. - She was taught karate when she was really young, and she plans on teaching all of her kids karate, too.
Wilbur - Only three years ago he was the troublemaker type. Now, he's the bookworm type. - He goes through books like they're candy. He's read every book on his shelf at least four times. - Three years ago Wilbur would've gelled his hair back, but now he doesn't really mind it the way it is. - He still sleeps with a night light. - Recently, he's picked up playing acoustic guitar.
Freddie - Yes, those are real flowers in her hair. - She's currently trying to figure out what types of hairstyles she likes best. She isn't completely sold on the pigtail puffs. - She's closest to her Grandma, Lucille. She's the one who taught her how to sew and upcycle. - Her interest in gardening was sparked by her best friend, who had a little succulent farm in her room. - She prefers (and is most comfortable) to be barefoot while gardening.
Mazie - Her favorite cryptids are the Fresno Night Crawlers. - She plays pretend a lot... usually she's a monster or cryptid. Surprise, surprise. - When she's not playing pretend or doing anything related to monsters, she's online, playing in a kid's virtual world. - All it took was one special about aliens on the history channel to spark her obsession with cryptids. - She's the closest to her uncles Gaston and Art, as well as their butler, Lefty. Lefty because she's an actual alien, and Gaston and Art because vibes.
Leo - Whenever Neil isn't home, he hangs around Carl. Because he's the closest to Neil in his eyes. - He only wants to be carried by his daddy. He won't let anybody else carry him; not even Franny. - Leo is only comfortable in onesies. - He really likes it when daddy makes cheesy scrambled eggs for breakfast. - His most favorite toy in the world is his stuffed elephant.

And like i think Mika had/has two different reasons for fixing plushies and for staying in Valkyrie.
I could just say "well, he grew up in poverty, obviously he's thrifty to the point that he even just upcycles his pajamas instead of buying them, he probably does the same with "luxuries" like plushies just because he's used to it", but i'm in an overly analytical mood. And i'll say that, no, Mika does it for the same reason why he wants to be a beacon of light for kids who "are like he was". I think he's projecting his feeling of being rejected and abandoned onto something like "broken toys", and by rescuing them, fixing them, naming them and keeping them, it's his way of experiencing catharsis and dealing with his own feelings of being "too broken to love".
But why he didn't abandon Valkyrie is because of similar, but still different reasons. Because he cared for Shu too much, because Valkyrie meant too much to him that he couldn't abandon it. Because Valkyrie was his place where he belonged. You know? When you give someone like Mika who feels rejected by the entire world and blames it all on a single imperfection, a way to be loved and accepted by that same world, of course he wasn't going to be able to just abandon it. That's why he CLUNG to Valkyrie even when any sane person would have jumped ship, even when any sane person (I'm talking ab Nazuna if it's not obvious) would have taken the chance to leave Shu and his abuse behind.
Like. I don't know. I think Mika tries to "fix himself" through fixing plushies, but that his clinging to Valkyrie. Was almost like a direct rejection of him saying "I didn't even want to be adopted", because he does want to belong and be loved and accepted. And Valkyrie was his ticket to that

kids room interior designer in Delhi
Designing your child’s room can be an overwhelming and confusing process, especially for parents.
As luxury interior design experts, Design Essentials understands the unique requirements of a growing kid. And how functionality should blend with playfulness when designing a kids room. It isn’t merely a common room but a space where your child will spend most of his days studying, playing, relaxing, and enjoying his free time. Think of bold colors, creative wallpaper designs, and ample room for play when looking for innovative concepts for children’s rooms.
To help you design the ideal space for your child, we have compiled 15 stunning ideas that will spark creativity and foster a cozy atmosphere for the little ones in your home. We are a top interior designer in Delhi/NCR and have transformed many ‘outdated spaces’ into beautiful ‘inspiring masterpieces’.
1. Get your child involved in the experience
Before you get started, why not involve your child in the project. After all, you are designing a room for them, so the space should reflect their likes and ideas. This will not only make it an engaging activity but also help them feel important.
2. Choose the right furniture
Wondering what kind of furniture works best for a kids room? It is advisable to choose the one that serves multiple purposes. You should look for beds with built-in storage drawers, a desk that can also be used as a craft table or seating ideas that allow both play and relaxation.
3. Don’t forget to include fun decorations
Add a fun element to your kid’s room with some funky decorations! How about light-up or illuminated letters that make the space come alive? You could also create a puzzle wall where they can showcase their artwork or favorite photos. Floating shelves are another great idea—they are perfect for displaying toys and books! After all, which kid would love a boring and dull room? The ideal space should spark joy and imagination. The best interior designer in Delhi/NCR can help you with all your interior design needs.
4. Experiment with Symmetry
If you want to completely change the appearance of your room, experimenting with symmetry is a great idea. Choose a design for one wall in your child’s room and go ahead and replicate it on the opposite wall.
5. Opt for Floor-to-ceiling wallpaper
Planning to go minimalistic with decorations but still want to bring vibrancy to your child’s room? A bold, customizable wallpaper is a great option. Choosing removable wallpaper allows you to change the room’s theme as your child grows and as per their tastes and preferences.
6. Bring in the light
How can a room feel complete without good lighting? With so many lighting choices available, it’s important to pick fixtures that work well for both studying and playing.
7. Set up a reading corner
Develop the love of reading books in your child at an early age. A built-in shelf with a collection of interesting books can serve this purpose well.
8. Create a washable design
Maintaining a kids room and avoiding mess is just unimaginable. But why worry when you can create a washable design? From stain-resistant paint and upcycled materials to peel-and-stick vinyl tiles, the options are limitless.
9. Pick a showstopper headboard
A headboard that is both sophisticated and wild, without compromising on comfort, is the perfect option to strike a balance between fun and mature. Opt for headboards in interesting shapes like stars, animals, or clouds. You can also choose an illuminated LED headboard for something different.
10. Let the imagination unfold
We all know that kids love spaces that allow them to be creative and free. Decorate a wall with their favorite quotes that can be changed every month, or set up a separate craft station with all the art supplies where they get a chance to vent out their imagination.
11. Celebrate humor and fun
A joyful space not only builds confidence but also supports learning. A circus-themed bedroom provides cheerful and fun inspiration for every kids room interior design. Consider adding a leopard rug or a circus poster to create a welcoming and lovely atmosphere.
Want more unique ideas? Check out the best interior designer in Delhi/NCR—Design Essentials!
12. Decide on the right bed
Confused about which bed will be suitable for your child’s room? You can opt for storage beds, bunk beds, trundle beds, or soft beds depending on your requirements. Comfort and safety should top your list before finalizing the right bed.
13. Go for smart storage solutions
Bulky, cumbersome cupboards are a big no for kids’ rooms. Instead, opt for smart storage options such as open shelves for toys, built-in storage, and stacked shelves against the walls.
14. Decorate walls with artwork
Is minimalistic decor and neutral walls really suitable for children’s bedrooms? The focus should be on adding colorful artwork, like drawings or posters, to brighten up the space. What about using fun bedding with their favorite characters or hanging up crafts projects they have made? These elements can make the room look more cheerful and lively.
15. Revamp items you already have

1. Consider Your Child's Needs
Before diving into the world of kids' bedroom furniture sets, take a moment to consider your child's needs and preferences. Think about the size of the room, the activities they enjoy, and any storage requirements. By understanding your child's needs, you can make informed decisions when selecting furniture pieces.
2. Look for Multi-Functional Pieces
When shopping for cheap kids' bedroom furniture sets, prioritize multi-functional pieces that serve more than one purpose. For example, a bunk bed with built-in storage drawers can save space and provide ample storage for toys, clothes, and other belongings. Similarly, a desk with shelving units can double as a study area and a place to display favorite toys or books.
3. Opt for Durable Materials
While you may be looking for cheap kids' bedroom furniture sets, it's essential to prioritize durability. Choose furniture made from sturdy materials like solid wood or metal to ensure longevity. Investing in quality pieces now can save you money in the long run by reducing the need for frequent replacements.
4. Explore Affordable Styles
You don't have to compromise on style when shopping for cheap kids' bedroom furniture sets. Many affordable options come in a variety of styles and designs to suit different tastes. Whether your child prefers classic, modern, or themed decor, there's a budget-friendly furniture set to match.
5. Shop Online for Deals
Online shopping can be a great way to find cheap kids' bedroom furniture sets at discounted prices. Many retailers offer exclusive online deals and promotions, allowing you to stretch your budget further. 6. DIY and Upcycling
Get creative and consider DIY projects or upcycling existing furniture to create cheap kids' bedroom furniture sets. With a little bit of imagination and effort, you can transform old pieces into unique and personalized additions to your child's room. From painting and repurposing to adding decals or knobs, the possibilities are endless.
7. Don't Forget About Safety
