He hadn’t planned on throwing his baguette at Wild. Not at all, actually. After borrowing it from another certain Hero, he was planning on eating it together with the meatloaf he had stolen from some travellers he had killed earlier. But then he spotted Wild.

At first, he wanted to ignore the Hero of the Wild, but the deep hatred towards the Champion ran deep through his veins. His entire being couldn’t ignore him. Perhaps it was because he was the Hero’s Shade he responded to Wild’s presence.

“Does it look like I care?” His voice sounded from the shadows, appearing from it shortly after. “I felt the need to throw that at you. Be thankful it wasn’t my sword.”

He knew the Hero of Twilight was proud and didn’t like being put in shameful positions. He also knew that the other Hero had a short fuse and could blown at any time. Yet, towards him, the Hero of Twilight had always been patient and caring. So he didn’t understand why he was so annoyed towards Wild while at the same time, he praised the Hero of Time to the moon and back.

It confused him. It also made him wonder if the Hero of Twilight would be mad at him for liking Wild. The thought scared him a little. If it wasn’t for him, he’d still didn’t know how to read or write or even have a warm home.

“...Why... is the Hero... mad... at you...?” He wondered. Not that he was able to understand even if Wild did explain it to him. He just wanted to know Twilight’s reasons.

“WHY...” Twi began shouting, stopping himself before he could erupt like Death Mountain and brought a hand to his face. “Am I really surrounded by idiots?” He murmured to himself before inhaling deeply.

“No! I did not defeat Ganon with only a fishing rod. Does it look like one can defeat the King of Evil with a fishing rod?! If you think you can face Ganon with a mop, then I really hope he turns you inside out because you deserve it after underestimating him like that! Ganon is no opponent you can face with a fishing rod! Where does this rumour even come from? Ganon might be evil, but that’s degrading him!”

It was late in the afternoon while he crawled around the barren grassland. He had barely gotten away with his life from the horseback riding bokoblins just a few moments earlier. He had tried to sneak up on them and snatch one of the horses, but that plan had quickly backfired when they noticed him before he could try anything. He had been no mach for their arrows.  He was still running rather loudly through the long grass before realising there wasn’t a single animal for a while now. This could only mean one thing. He was in Lynel territory.  However this realization came too late as he came face to- well, behind, of said beast. He hid as quickly as he could behind the closest boulder, but knew his footsteps would already have been heard.
