Get Ready for Glitchwalkers: The Ultimate Astroneer Experience
Tumblr media
Glitchwalkers is the very first paid game expansion coming to Astroneer on Linux and Steam Deck via Windows PC. Thanks to the team at System Era Softworks for their creativity and talent. Due to make its way onto Steam, soon. Spacefaring Seattleites System Era Softworks and space friends Devolver Digital are gearing up for the launch of Glitchwalkers. This is their first-ever paid expansion for Astroneer. The countdown has begun, with 21 days to go until it takes off on November 13th. This exciting contact will land on Linux and Steam Deck via Proton. Glitchwalkers is all about taking the survival sandbox gameplay in Astroneer and cranking it up a notch. Get ready to explore a brand-new planet, the biggest one yet in the title. It's full of fresh biomes, cutting-edge tech, and new gameplay features. Oh, and did I mention? There’s also the first true villain waiting for you. Here’s something that fans have been waiting for — Storms are making a comeback. Yep, those intense weather events are back, both in the expansion and the base game. But this time, they’re not just any storms. We’re talking Glitched Storms. These digital hurricanes will hack into your systems, so you’ll have to keep your wits about you if you want to survive.

If you're looking for some serious challenges, Glitchwalkers has you covered. You’ll face off against Lyn, a rogue member of the ESS Elysium crew. She’s been messing around with the Astroneer Training Program’s (ATP) code. So it’s up to you and Frank, the Head of Maintenance, to put a stop to her plans before she tears the program apart from the inside. The action takes place on Aeoluz, an enormous planet in a glitched solar system. You’ll need to out-hack Lyn, break through firewalls, and restore the ATP to normal. Aeoluz is loaded with new surface and cave biomes, giving you plenty of terrain to explore. Plus, there’s a fresh tech tree with new modules to discover, giving you all sorts of new tools to play with as you progress. But you might want to use a controller to navigate, it's easier. Glitchwalkers keeps all the crafting, building, and exploration you like while expanding the Astroneer universe on Steam. And if you're not ready to dive into the expansion, don’t worry — a free update to the base game is coming too. Offering new gameplay tweaks, quality of life upgrades, and bug fixes. If you haven't played the the base game, check it out on Steam and Humble Store. It's playable on Linux and Steam Deck via Windows PC.

Keen to share this new Spyro fangame in development by Bunbaroness!
She refers to the game as "Spaghetti Spyro." Bunn, known for the incredible Spyro Reignited Trilogy Omniswapper, has dedicated several years to developing this fangame in Unreal Engine 4.
The main goal is to create a foundation for fans to develop their own fangames, as the project will be open source once released. Right now, Bunn is focusing on the engine's detailed features, such as swimming, power-ups, and various breath abilities from all the Spyro games, including Legend of Spyro. This ensures that fans will have the tools they need to create their own games from this foundation.
Check out Bunn's channel here for frequent updates of the game:

Guys I need your help!!! I'm trying to play SHTA but it's just not working for me
My system meets the minimum requirements but I still can't open the game, it launches and shows the frogwares and unreal engine logo, then there's only a black screen. No crashes, just stays like that. And task manager says it's not responding
The only recommended requirements I don't meet are gpu (mine is nvidia gtx 920) and having an ssd but I don't think hardware is the problem here. I already tried reinstalling the game several times, clean boot and setting the correct gpu for SHTA specifically. I have a growing suspicion that this has something to do with UE4 but have yet to find a coherent guide online. Does anyone know how to fix this?

ROJO
