In response to Unity’s pricing changes i see a lot of people jumping ship, while I’m not mad at the people moving to Unreal, as it’s a good engine, I do want more people to try Godot. It’s done 2d really well for years now, ans with 4.0 it’s 3d is much much better, so please give it a go, you might be surprised.
Edit: and try out all those little engines on GitHub, or make your own!

In light of recent events, I decided that I'll be learning Unreal Engine 5.3 instead of Unity as a future XR Designer.
Also, nobody has talked about this yet but I have a feeling this is going to massively damage VRChat and its community as literally anything developed inside that space was made with some version of Unity.
VRChat is such a nice community and they don't deserve to fall due to the price change / price gauge done by Unity as a company.

Really impressive proof of concept in Unreal Engine 5. I think the character designs are solid, and I really like the very toylike motion of the characters. Also love the momentary flare of romantic intrigue as story telling bread crumb. In general it was also neat how the team made the lack of voice acting work for them, as the silence demanded more visual ques (there was a really neat simulated walk gait camera shake as part of a long shot,) and work in the general sound effects. Interested to see if there is more. tty'alll

Presentation, Portfolio, and Documentation
Later i started making fallen leaves on the ground to add further detail to the scene.
I used Photoshop's leaves alpha brush to get base leaves variations and made three different layers for he depth and converted them in to normal maps.
