KOKUYO Campus Notebook, Dot A 7mm Ruled, Semi-B5, 30 Sheets, 30 Lines, Pack of 5, Spy x Family Limited Edition, Japan Import review
That was a mouth full. I normally do book reviews on my other Tumblr channel, but this is a notebook which means i can use it for school and its Spy x Family meaning i have a excuse to gush about best family!
So lets get the nitty gritty out of the way. This Campus notebook is a semi B5. Meaning according to japanese paper standards, It is larger than 176 x 250 mm which is a versatile bridge between office use and large-format technical documents. College ruled paper, also known as college lined paper, typically measures 8.5 x 11 inches (US Letter size) with 7.1 mm (9/32 inches) between horizontal lines. So slightly bigger than what Japans used to but the normalish...for us Americans.
Like it says on the notebook KOKUYO Campus Notebooks are made speffifically for students however i have seen stationary lovers use them for diary entries. Its 70 gsm so its basicly printer paper but is resistant to bleed through so i can use a fountain pen or a roller ball. Its also lighter so thats a major plus!
The binding is lay flat glue binding and come with a dotted ruling style. Its basically lined paper with cute small dots evenly lined across the page. Perfect for my ass who needs a book on statistics. All campus notebooks use FSC certified paper but there is also a recycled edition if you are trying to lower your footprint.
I also bought the B with the semi B and my goal is to make study diaries out of them I already have an idea of what could go 1st. I might make that another blog entry in itself.

Original Goal for the Course
When I began this Creativity and Innovation course, my primary goal was to enhance my ability to generate innovative business ideas and solutions. My aim was to develop a framework that would allow me to think creatively and apply those concepts effectively in a professional setting.
How the Goal Was Met by the Course
The course successfully met my goal by providing comprehensive insights into various creativity and innovation techniques. Through practical exercises, case studies, and theoretical knowledge, I was able to understand how to approach problems from different perspectives and develop innovative solutions. The lessons on Design Thinking and the Lean Startup methodology were particularly impactful.
What I Learned from the Course
From this course, I learned the importance of adopting a flexible and iterative approach to business development. Key takeaways include:
Using Design Thinking Methodology
Design Thinking: A user-centric approach that emphasizes empathy, ideation, and prototyping to solve complex problems creatively.
Having a Strong "Why": Understanding and articulating the core purpose behind my business ideas, which drives motivation and aligns efforts towards a meaningful goal.
Using Lean Startup Methodology
Build-Measure-Learn Feedback Loop: Continuously improving products based on customer feedback.
Innovation Accounting: Using actionable metrics to track progress and make informed decisions.

Product and Artist Management class
My journey in this course has been transformative. Here are the key takeaways:
Understanding Course Material:
The course has deepened my understanding of key industry concepts. For example, I learned about BATNA (Best Alternative to a Negotiated Agreement) and its critical role in negotiations. By analyzing real-world scenarios, I was able to see the practical applications of this concept.
I explored the impact of audience media consumption habits on the industry, leveraging Nielsen articles to substantiate my claims. This research highlighted the dynamic nature of audience preferences and their implications for media strategies.
Personal Growth:
Through various assignments, I discovered my strengths in creative thinking and strategic planning. The project on developing products for 'NOZ N' CHAOS' festival allowed me to blend creativity with market research, resulting in well-rounded products that cater to the target audience.
My ability to conduct thorough research and apply it effectively was tested and refined. For instance, while working on the talent management agencies assignment, I utilized multiple sources to create a comprehensive and visually appealing infographic.
Challenges and Solutions:
One significant challenge was balancing creative ideas with practical feasibility. To overcome this, I employed a structured approach to brainstorming and evaluation, ensuring each idea was both innovative and implementable.
Another challenge was staying current with industry trends. I tackled this by regularly engaging with updated resources and articles, ensuring my knowledge remained relevant and up-to-date.
Research and APA Style Citations: While this project is primarily reflective, I incorporated several academic and industry sources to support my insights. For example, I referenced two Nielsen articles to discuss audience media consumption habits. All sources are cited in APA style, ensuring academic rigor and credibility.
Professionalism: This assignment is presented in an organized and professional manner. The narrative flows logically, with clear transitions between thoughts. The document is free of spelling, grammar, and formatting errors. The Tumblr post link is included below and is active, providing direct access to the post.
Conclusion: This course has been an incredible learning experience, equipping me with valuable knowledge and skills. I am excited to apply these lessons in my future endeavors and continue growing both personally and professionally.

Wait, you went to Full Sail? They have a really strong relationship with WWE. Did you ever meet any wrestlers or do production stuff with them?
I did go to full sail! i wasn't aware of any wwe relationship. never liked wrestling, so if there was anything going on while i was attending, i was unaware of it. at any rate, i was in computer animation, so it's unlikely that my path would intersect with that.
also, please no one go to full sail. it's a huge for profit scam and most of their degree program structure is designed to prime you towards being an easily exploitable worker and normalize crunchtime.
when i went there, they had no mental health support for students, and i ended up being constantly suicidal and burnt out as a result. don't let them sucker you into applying like they did me. I flunked out because of bad grades after trying to push myself through, and they later claimed i owed them over $11,000 for classes i never got to take because they flunked me out. fuck them, and fuck all for-profit universities.

2017 Full Sail Hall of Fame ceremony — VoicePlay live performance & peeks behind the scenes
After they filmed several music videos at the REBL HQ studio on the Full Sail campus over the previous year, VoicePlay were invited to open the university's annual alumni Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Eli documented parts of the day in real time, livestreaming on VoicePlay's Facebook page. This first one is the guys and some of their spouses being escorted to their seats in preparation for singing the national anthem.
.
youtube
The whole ceremony is almost three hours long, but our guys got their job done in the first few minutes.
Details:
title: U.S. national anthem (Full Sail University's 8th Annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony)
original song: The Star-Spangled Banner
written by: lyrics from the poem "Defence of Fort M'Henry" by Francis Scott Key; sung to the tune of "The Anacreontic Song" by John Stafford Smith
arranged by: VoicePlay
performance date: 16 February 2017
My favorite bits:
Eli starting off solo, then everyone gradually layering in
passing the lead around
the unusual harmonies on ♫ "perilous fight" ♫
Layne, Eli, and Erik's lovely unison for ♫ "were so galantly streaming" ♫
putting a little decoration on ♫ "bursting in ai-ai-aaair" ♫
upward modulation leading into another cool chord progression
Earl's big old belt on ♫ "braaave" ♫ followed by the other guys traveling up to resolve with him
Trivia:
VoicePlay had done a number of collaborations involving Full Sail over the previous year, primarily through their REBL HQ video production studio, including their 1-Minute Musicals series, "My Shot" from Hamilton, and a trio of audio production tips.
J.None (their other rotating baritone at the time) had performed "America the Beautiful" for the opening of the 2015 Hall of Fame event. He was a recent graduate, and had just competed on American Idol.
.
The robot presentation Eli mentioned in the first FB livestream happened later in the evening, so he provided a peek into the designer's intro and the performance itself, complete with immersive light effects, dancers, and wire work.
[NOTE: The second video includes some flashing light effects, particularly starting at ~6:00]
.
The guys were excited to meet legendary recording engineer Bruce Swedien, whose work with Quincy Jones and Michael Jackson earned him multiple Grammy awards, and who had been presented with the school's Industry Icon Award during the previous year's Hall of Fame week.

What I learned this month in Product and Artist Management:
For this course called Product and Artist Management, I wanted to say that the topics that was taught to me went past what I thought I was to learn for product and Artist management. I Feel the artist management portion was very well explained with many scenarios that really helped me through how to manage my future artist. I learned for my products, I would need to plan in detail on where and when my products will be released for each artist that I work with and is at the level where they have products, they are promoting to build up their brands.
This course also taught me to keep my brand authentic and real for my audience to relate with so I can build a more organic brand for my artist to want to be a part of and the fans that can help support it as well. By connecting technology resources to my brand and fans I can help them be connected to me in many ways online and offline.
Each week I was put through scenario after scenario to help me be more comfortable with similar scenarios for my future artists and clients. It taught me that not everyone situation is the same and you will need to understand each artist a certain way and know how to work with them in a certain leadership trait way, so they can be successful in what the artist or manager is asking to be done for the artist and or brand.
I will apply all the skills I learned to my professional life by making sure I follow the layouts given to me when building new product plans for artist and myself as a brand that needs their products promoted and sold. The most useful thing from this whole course is the Pricing & sales from week four. I think that last week really help me understand product and artist Management more clearly so that I can be more successful in my career on my Mastery journey.

Hey everyone! Recently I began enrolling to the school of my dreams, and their goal is to have me on campus by September! However that means we have to move states again and that’s…expensive and scary. So I made this GoFundMe to help! Any donations will help us secure a home in the city of my university! I’ll add the link, and thank you all for your support! 🩷

The Adventure Begins
As the world settled into a hushed lullaby of night, Molly the Unicorn, plush and magical, stirred from her sleep. Tonight was no ordinary night; tonight, Molly craved adventure. Silently, she tiptoed through the quiet house. Her journey led her to a room adorned with childhood wonder—Lily's room. Molly approached the bed where Lily lay nestled. Leaning in, Molly whispered a secret lullaby into Lily's ear, a call to join her on an adventure woven with the threads of imagination. With a flutter of moonlit sparkle, Lily's eyes opened. The duo, bound by friendship embarked on a midnight quest. Through the hushed house and under the watchful moon, Molly and Lily ventured into the unknown.
