The Peugeot 305 Rallye V6!
One of the unraced Group B cars, the Rallye V6 has 250 bhp, and it is lighter and smaller than the 504 Coupé V6. The car was originally going to be used, but Peugeot would later switch to the 205 T16 as a Group B monster.

[ID 1: The connection between childhood and innocence is not essential but is instead historically located. During the colonial period, Calvinists did not believe that children were innocent; to the contrary, they lived with the terrifying idea that children, who were born with original sin, could die before they experienced Christian salvation, in which case they would endure eternal damnation. According to this “doctrine of infant depravity,” children were inherently sinful and sexual — even more so, potentially, than adults, who had learned, through rationality and self-discipline, how to control their damnable impulses. In the late eighteenth and early nineteenth century, however, a competing doctrine entered popular consciousness. In this emergent view, children were innocent: that is, sinless, absent of sexual feelings, and oblivious to worldly concerns. This view of the innocent child assumed a variety of complex and ever-shifting forms, including the Lockean tabula rasa and the Rousseauian youth who was at essence an uncorrupted element of nature. American sermons and child-rearing manuals widely quoted and thus circulated William Wordsworth’s representations of children as innocent, holy, and able to redeem adults. By the mid-nineteenth century, prevailing beliefs about childhood inverted the doctrine of infant depravity: children were not sinful but innocent, not depraved souls risking hellfire but holy angels leading adults to heaven. By the mid-nineteenth century, sentimental culture had woven childhood and innocence together wholly. Childhood was then understood not as innocent but as innocence itself; not as a symbol of innocence but as its embodiment. The doctrine of original sin receded, replaced by a doctrine of original innocence.
ID 2: To be innocent was to be innocent of something, to achieve obliviousness. This obliviousness was not merely an absence of knowledge, but an active state of repelling knowledge — the child’s “holy ignorance,” in the phrase of an 1822 article in Blackwood’s Magazine. James Kincaid echoes that idea in his characterization of Victorian childhood as a “wonderfully hollow category” in which “purity” is “figured as negation,” a “ruthless distribution of eviction notices.” Individual nineteenth-century children, like all people, forgot and remembered, but to be legibly childlike — to perform “childhood innocence” — was to manifest a state of holy ignorance. However, not just any obliviousness constituted innocence: to be childlike was not to forget one’s name or one’s manners, and was certainly not to forget hymns or Him. Rather, sentimental childlike innocence manifested through the performed transcendence of social categories of class, gender, and, most importantly for this book, race. Of course, no nineteenth century children existed outside race (or gender or class), nor were any children perceived as unraced. Innocence was not a literal state of being unraced but was, rather, the performance of not-noticing, a performed claim of slipping beyond social categories.
ID 3: Childhood innocence — itself raced white, itself characterized by the ability to retain racial meanings but hide them under claims of holy obliviousness — secured the unmarked status of whiteness, and the power derived from that status, in the nineteenth and into the early twentieth centuries. Childhood innocence provided a perfect alibi: not only the ability to remember while appearing to forget, but even more powerfully, the production of racial memory through the performance of forgetting. What childhood innocence help Americans to assert by forgetting, to think about by performing obliviousness, was not only whiteness but also racial difference constructed against whiteness. Racial binarism — understanding race in terms of white and nonwhite, or a “black and white” polarization that erases nonblack people of color — gained legibility through nineteenth-century childhood. end ID]

For reasons that should not need explanation here, until very recently, and regardless of the race of the author, the readers of virtually all of American fiction have been positioned as white. I am interested to know what that assumption has meant to the literary imagination. When does racial "unconsciousness" or awareness of race enrich interpretive language, and when does it impoverish it? What does positing one's writerly self, in the wholly racialized society that is the United States, as unraced and all others as raced entail? What happens to the writerly imagination of a black author who is at some level always conscious of representing one's own race to, or in spite of, a race of readers that understands itself to be "universal" or race-free? In other words, how is "literary whiteness" and "literary blackness" made, and what is the consequence of that construction? How do embedded assumptions of racial (not racist) language work in the literary enterprise that hopes and sometimes claims to be "humanistic"? When, in a race-conscious culture, is that lofty goal actually approximated? When not and why? Living in a nation of people who decided that their world view would combine agendas for individual freedom and mechanisms for devastating racial oppression presents a singular landscape for a writer. When this world view is taken seriously as agency, the literature produced within and without it offers and unprecedented opportunity to comprehend the resilience and gravity, the inadequacy and the force of the imaginative act.

Two new schoolers have arrived! 💪
The top is a 7yo trotting mare called Sandy, she’s a solid chunk of meat 😍 She’s been spelled for 6 months after retiring off the track, 31 starts for 0 placings - best she ever came was 5th!
Bottom is Rocket, he’s a 4yo gelding by Pet Rock(USA) who I’ve never heard of before but the sire is by A Rocknroll Dance so he should be fun 🤷♀️ He’s unraced and untrialled so very much greener than the usual standardbred!
Both are plain bays (good thing it’s my favourite colour 🙈) but Rock is very much taller and slimmer! 😂
They’ll be quarantined for the month before I do anything with them as Rock looks like he has a bit of a skin condition on his shoulder, then I’ll get cracking!

The G2 Wood Memorial looked like it might be a chaotic finish and it sure was with Lord Miles scoring at 59-1.
Arctic Arrogance and Uncle Jake battled early with Dreamlike,Lord Miles and Hit Show sitting right behind that group. When Uncle Jake dropped anchor and Arctic Arrogance started to weaken, the maiden Dreamlike was the first to take over, but Hit Show and Lord Miles just a step behind and the three colts battled to the wire with Lord Miles getting his nose down first and Hit Show holding onto second by a head. It was a long way back to Arctic Arrogance in 4th.
This was Lord Miles 2nd win from 5 races – his first since breaking his maiden on debut back in November. Before this, he was 6th in the Holy Bull, a troubled 5th in the Tampa Bay Derby and third in the Mucho Macho Man.
Lord Miles is by the great, classic sire Curlin and out of the Majestic Warrior mare, Lady Esme. Lady Esme is an unraced daughter of Come a Callin, making her a half-sister champion 2yo filly Caledonia Road and multiple graded stakes winner Officiating. Lord Miles is definitely bred to be a good one.

Like states and Russia we believe backgrounds from ethics anywhere in the world I live in one spot. I'm not friends from Ireland, Iceland- Romania and two other locations I believe that these places even believe in ethical gatherings of All sorts in and allowed to live together. Israel is likely to have the same beliefs if you can get Palestinians to agree with these terms except just like Israelis to accept the fact of different beliefs and still live in the same land. Putin just like the United States president speaks of unracism in these terms of these beliefs of people gathering. I think you can get these people to agree with these same things. Find a common belief of peace. We all would see a difference in the land not war.

Singularity
by Marissa Davis
after Marie Howe
in the wordless beginning
iguana & myrrh
magma & reef ghost moth
& the cordyceps tickling its nerves
& cedar & archipelago & anemone
dodo bird & cardinal waiting for its red
ocean salt & crude oil now black
muck now most naïve fumbling plankton
every egg clutched in the copycat soft
of me unwomaned unraced
unsexed as the ecstatic prokaryote
that would rage my uncle’s blood
or the bacterium that will widow
your eldest daughter’s eldest son
my uncle, her son our mammoth sun
& her uncountable siblings & dust mite & peat
apatosaurus & nile river
& maple green & nude & chill-blushed &
yeasty keratined bug-gutted i & you
spleen & femur seven-year refreshed
seven-year shedding & taking & being this dust
& my children & your children
& their children & the children
of the black bears & gladiolus & pink florida grapefruit
here not allied but the same perpetual breath
held fast to each other as each other’s own skin
cold-dormant & rotting & birthing & being born
in the olympus of the smallest
possible once before once

You know I’ll give credit to the My Racehorse people whoever is advising them . Is advising them to horses who at the very least look the part.
They sent out an email about an unraced 3 year old prospect by the name of Carrothers. Including a sale photo of him along with a bunch.
And yeah that’s one good looking horse
I probably won’t buy into it just because I’m trying to limit what I do. And if I buy into an unraced it will be someone who is CA based
But damn if he doesn’t look good

Note
is he a retired racehorse or an unraced horse?
Ziggy is unraced but because he’s been on the track and trained as a racehorse he’s still considered a retired racehorse, just wasn’t fast enough to actually get to the races!
