In this version of the bill, ICE is set to receive more funding than the Marines and become the world's most expensive police and detention force.

We wanted to tackle one of the trickiest parts of Superman mythos; and that's the entangled romance between Clark Kent, Lana Lang, Lois Lane and Superman. Often times these more mundane parts of Superman get pushed to the side, when they can give so much insight into the characters and what they're seeking from each other.

I'm starting to accept that if I want to stay designing in tech I'm going to have to use AI and I just feel so defeated.

I've been designing interfaces for 16 years at this point. I've spent my whole adult life building skills and experience that are being de-valued by the minute as every executive is drooling at the idea of being able to layoff whole departments.

At the same time, so many design leaders and directors are trying to push the idea that the shift to AI-driven design is exciting and cool and going to be so GREAT and definitely not just designing ourselves out of jobs. But even if their rosiest view of the future comes true, I can't see a world where we outsource so much work to AI without also seeing the number of designers needed dropping a huge %.

That's not even getting into the ethical issues of AI, with all the models basically plagiarism bots, stealing work to boil the ocean.

What to do? Stick with UX design and embrace AI to stay relevant? Or avoid AI, and quickly be pushed out of work? Try and pivot to something completely new? What would I even do at this point – I'm 38, not 28 and all of my professional life has been focused on design. It's what I'm really good at. What industry could I switch to that won't be in the same AI boat where I can keep affording to live?

I'm so tired.
