Austrian far right wins election for first time, projections show
VIENNA, Sept 29 (Reuters) - Austrian voters handed a first ever general election victory to the far-right Freedom Party (FPO) on Sunday, vote projections showed, underlining rising support for hard-right parties in Europe fueled by concern over immigration levels.
The Eurosceptic, Russia-friendly FPO held a slim lead in opinion polls for months over Chancellor Karl Nehammer's ruling conservative Austrian People's Party (OVP) in a campaign dominated by immigration and worries about the economy.
Led by Herbert Kickl, the FPO was projected to secure 29.1% of the vote, ahead of the OVP on 26.2%, and the centre-left Social Democrats on 20.4%, a projection by pollster Foresight for broadcaster ORF showed after polls closed.
A separate projection by pollster Arge Wahlen also had the FPO coming first, winning by around 4 percentage points.
The winner will fall short of an absolute majority, but will claim the right to lead a coalition.
If confirmed, Kickl's victory may prove pyrrhic, as the 55-year-old is a polarising figure under whom other party leaders have refused to serve.
He has given no indication so far he could step aside to ensure his party leads the government.
"What's at stake is whether the FPO will appoint the chancellor or not," Kathrin Stainer-Haemmerle, political science professor at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences.
"Should that happen, then I have to say the role of Austria in the European Union would be significantly different. Kickl has often said that (Hungarian Prime Minister) Viktor Orban is a role model for him and he will stand by him."
FPO PROMISES TOUGHER RULES ON ASYLUM SEEKERS
An FPO victory would make Austria the latest EU country to register surging far-right support after gains in countries including the Netherlands, France and Germany.
The FPO, which is critical of Islam and pledges tougher rules on asylum seekers, won a national vote for the first time in June when it beat the OVP in European elections.
The OVP, which like the FPO backs tougher immigration rules and tax cuts, is the only party open to forming a coalition with the far-right party. However Nehammer says his party will not join a government with Kickl in it.
Sarah Wolf, a 22-year-old graphic designer and Austrian Communist Party supporter in Vienna, said ahead of the vote she was worried what an FPO victory would mean.
"What most scares me if the FPO really does get the most votes is we get something like Viktor Orban: a slow, gradual reduction in media diversity, democracy and understanding," she said. "There are just so many really dangerous signs."
Viktor de Lijzer, a 17-year-old soldier who supports the FPO, said the party was best placed to fix what he saw as too much criminal violence spurred by immigration.

Unleash The Best Brain Tonic For Students: The Power Of Fantastic Four
In a world brimming with information and endless distractions, we could all use a little help in the memory department. Whether you're a student preparing for exams, a professional managing a hectic schedule, or a parent trying to remember where you left your keys, memory plays a pivotal role in our daily lives. But fret not, dear reader, for we're about to embark on a journey through the world of memory boosters, featuring the fantastic four: Brahmi, Shankhpushpi, Ashwagandha, and Jyotismati. Let's dive in and uncover their superpowers!
The Forgetfulness Epidemic
Picture this: You're about to leave for work, keys in hand, when suddenly, you forget why you're holding them. Sound familiar? Forgetfulness is a universal quirk, but when it starts affecting our daily tasks and productivity, it's time to take action.
Enter the Fantastic Four – four herbal superheroes that can help you unleash your brainpower, improve memory, and banish forgetfulness to the realm of distant memories.
Brahmi: The Brain Tonic
Our story begins with Brahmi, a herb known for its brain-boosting properties. Brahmi has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine to enhance cognitive function. Its active compounds, known as bacosides, have been shown to improve memory and reduce forgetfulness.
Brahmi is like the wise old sage in your brain, helping it absorb information, retain it, and recall it when needed. It's the secret sauce that transforms your memory from a leaky sieve to a sharp, focused tool.
Shankhpushpi: The Memory Whisperer
Next up is Shankhpushpi, another herbal maestro when it comes to memory enhancement. It's like the soothing melody that calms the chaos in your mind, making it easier to concentrate and remember.
Shankhpushpi is renowned for its ability to alleviate stress and anxiety, which are often culprits behind forgetfulness and poor memory. It's the herb that helps you sail through challenging exams and demanding workdays with a serene smile.
Ashwagandha: The Stress Slayer
In our fast-paced world, stress is the supervillain that threatens to rob us of our memory and focus. That's where Ashwagandha steps in – the stress slayer of the Fantastic Four.
Ashwagandha is like a protective shield for your brain, shielding it from the harmful effects of chronic stress. By reducing cortisol levels, it ensures that your memory remains sharp, your attention focused, and your mood uplifted.
Jyotismati: The Illuminator Of Thoughts
Last but not least, we have Jyotismati, the illuminator of thoughts. This herb is like a bright beacon in the darkness of forgetfulness, guiding your mind towards clarity and focus.
Jyotismati is particularly effective in combating attention deficit issues. It enhances cognitive function, making it easier to concentrate on tasks and retain information. It's the herb that helps you shine in those crucial moments when you need to be at your mental best.
The Fantastic Four: A Collective Symphony
Now, you might be wondering, what happens when you bring these four memory-enhancing powerhouses together? Well, it's like assembling a superhero team to save the day.
When Brahmi, Shankhpushpi, Ashwagandha, and Jyotismati join forces, they create a symphony of memory-boosting effects. They enhance memory retention, improve focus, reduce forgetfulness, and combat stress – all crucial elements for academic success, professional growth, and everyday productivity.
A Story To Relate
To add a dash of relatability to our memory-boosting journey, let's follow the adventures of Anil, a college student with a memory as reliable as a ‘Tea Stainer’. Anil was notorious for forgetting important dates, including exams and deadlines.
One day, while desperately searching for his misplaced keys, Anil stumbled upon a memory booster product containing the Fantastic Four. Intrigued and desperate for change, he decided to give it a shot.
As Anil embarked on his journey with the Fantastic Four, he noticed remarkable improvements in his memory and attention span. No longer did he forget important dates, and his academic performance soared. His friends even started calling him "Memory Guru," a nickname that had once seemed like a distant dream.
But it wasn't just about exams and deadlines. Anil found himself more present in conversations, more focused at work, and less stressed about life's challenges. He could now effortlessly recall names, faces, and important information.
In a twist of fate, Anil became the go-to person for all things memory-related. His friends, colleagues, and even his forgetful neighbor sought his advice. Anil’s transformation from a forgetful college student to a Memory Guru was nothing short of extraordinary.
The Memory-Enhancing Solution For All
In a world where memory lapses and forgetfulness are all too common, the Fantastic Four – Brahmi, Shankhpushpi, Ashwagandha, and Jyotismati – offer a potent memory-enhancing solution for all. They're the herbal superheroes you can turn to during school or college exams, competitive tests, or any moment when you need to sharpen your memory, boost your alertness, and enhance retention.
So, whether you're a student gearing up for finals, a professional managing a hectic workload, or someone simply looking to remember where you left your keys, remember the Fantastic Four. They're here to save the day, one memory at a time – and they do it with a touch of perfection, making the journey all the more enjoyable!
Where To Buy The Best Brain Tonic For Memory?

Scottish artist and author James Ballantine was born on June 11th 1808 in Edinburgh.
Born at West Port, his father was a brewer who died when he was 10. He received little education and what he did know came from his mother or being self-taught. In his early teens he was apprenticed to a house painter in Edinburgh. Aged 20 he went to the University of Edinburgh. After graduating he turned his attention to the art of painting on glass.
He later founded the firm of Messrs. Ballantine and Allan , glass stainers,. In 1845 he published a treatise on Stained Glass: Showing its applicability to every style of Architecture. He was appointed by the royal commissioners on the fine arts to execute the stained-glass windows for the House of Lords, at home his windows are still to be seen in the kirks of Greyfriars and St. Giles, but in my opinion the firms work in The National Wallace Monument is among their finest. They were installed in 1886
A great admirer of Robert Burns, also wrote unpretentiously popular verses in local dialect, and published several books of his own poetry between the 1840s and the 1870s. Ballantine was energetic in his support of the building of the Scott Monument and other projects in the city.
His One Hundred Songs: With melodies original & selected, was popular back in Victorian times along with, The Gaberlunzie's Wallet, which was published by John Menzies in Edinburgh in 1842.
Many of you will have seen his photo in the Hill & Adamson pic, Edinburgh Ale, as seen in the pics, the stained glass windows are Wallace and The Bruce, from The Wallace Monument, the final pic is Mary, the Mother of Jesus from Greyfriars Kirk, Edinburgh.
James Ballentine died from a "congestion of the lungs" in Warrender Lodge, Meadows, Edinburgh in 1877.

RECIPE TIME!!!
hellooooo guys!!! me here!! today I'm going to show how to make a true Tortilla de Patatas/ Tortilla Española aka spanish omelette
have in mind this is how my father cooks it and it may not be a universal way, maybe someone's abuela in Granada makes it without onion or with a different oil. This was eaten by 2 people and served just right
let's get started!
first you put some sunflower oil on a pan at medium heat
while the oil heats you cut half an onion in slices
then you put the onion into the pan and you stir so it doesn't burn. while the onions cook you peel and cut three potatoes
after you finish, you add the potatoes into the pan alongside the onion and add more oil until it almost covers the potatoes
¡¡¡IMPORTANT!!
you'll know when the potatoes are ready because you can break them if you push gently with your spoon
then you get the potatoes and onion outside of the pan and put them in a stainer to get the oil out. while it drains, you beat three eggs, add salt and mix everything together.
then you put it in the pan with a liiittle bit of oil ( the one that you got out before) at low 🔥. it's gonna cook slowly and you have to pay attention!! if you want it kinda runny you have to turn it around when it's still quite liquid. if you want it completely solid you're gonna have to wait a bit more until it's almost completely cooked. Now. Important step. to turn it around:
grab a plate larger than your pan.
place it on top of the pan
flip the pan and the plate with caution!! everything has to stay together!!
when you have the flipped omelette on the plate, you slip it slowly back into the pan
then you let it in the pan until the bottom is also cooked but not as much as the Bottom because we don't want a dry omelette!!
you can cry at the end if it's very beautiful. it's okay. it happens.
you can eat it on top of bread or not, but be careful!! don't wet it with your too beautiful an omelette tears!!
