Evaluation
Overall, l I am happy with my end result. I am most happy with my shoot for the CD as this stuck with my original idea. It also turned out exactly how I wanted it accept for a few bits like I originally wanted a heart and a brain. I think with the props and the casting of the model it all turned out to plan. I am also really happy that I contacted the life cast place as he said he will give me props for future productions, so I also made contacts during this shoot. I think my most successful part was getting everything together. The body painters did an amazing job on the model, and the model was a perfect fit for the shoot. I wish I had have had more time to get ore footage but as my model was late and the bodypainting took a while I was limited for time, but other than that I wouldn’t have changed anything with my first shoot.
Printing wise I feel was also successful. At first I was leaning more to getting it commercially printed however after seeing the prices I went against this. Instead I decided to print at Uni. On the day of printing though it was a disaster! The paper was really thick which made it impossible to create my booklet and fit it in the case whilst keeping it industry standard. Last minute I decided to go somewhere a classmate told me about with a couple of my other peers and they printed it perfect! I also got two different CD labels made as one is for a ‘bonus’ disk, as I purchased a 2 disk case. The poster came about desaturated so I decided to stick with my print from uni for that part.
The part I found most daunting was the film. I’m not a very good filmmaker, I have the ideas but when it comes to filming it my technical side just isn’t there. I think my final video looked okay however I need to learn to move the camera about more instead of just sticking it on a tripod and pressing the record button. When I first saw my video files I thought it would be terrible however once I edited them together and used a few techniques it didn’t look so bad.
If I were to change anything with the project then I would have collaborated with a film student so that it was of a higher quality. This would have also enabled me to take more pictures of the second shoot as I didn’t get many.

My Video
This is my final video on youtube. Considering the amount of time I had to produce it I think that it is okay. My film skills really bother me in it that I never move the camera. I think it would have been more effective if it was more fast paced however I had to make it last the 3 minutes. I wish I had have put the filler shots on I have previously talked about such as the moon to give it more depth. I also regret not putting a shot at the end of the album cover to make it look more like a bands promo video.

CD
My end piece. I am really happy with how my CD turned out! I am so happy I went to the printers as it has gave it a more professional look. The templates worked fine for me I just had to trim some off the inlay as it was a little too big.

Printed Booklet from ABC
My printed booklet. Here you can see the sequence of my images in the booklet, where as you can't with the template. Getting it printed at a printing place has taken so much more stress off my mind as now I don’t have to worry about cutting it out and sticking it together, and it only cost £8.86 for all of the CD pieces and the poster!

Images on Template Inlays
For the Inlays I have chosen to just stick with the image of the body parts. I feel like it would look a bit much if I go with one with my creature on it. It also doesn't distract to much from the song titles. The song titles I made up from the top of my head.

CD Labels
As I brought the double disk CD cases I have decided to print two discs. The one with the body parts on is a bonus disc but the buyer doesn’t know what is on it. I like how my key image fits on the template as I have positioned it so that the middle comes out of the hands clasped around the heart.

Poster
My Image on the A3 poster template. The text I found online. I would have liked to have worked with a graphic designer on this as I feel it looks a little bland but I didn’t have time.

Social Media Templates
My Images on the social media templates. I feel the images work well with the more square templates and the portrait of the poster but not so well for landscape templates. The Facebook one has cut out some of the body parts but I feel like it could still work.
