On reflection I'm realizing that a really prominent thematic throughline in Invincible, indeed, in a lot of Kirkman's writing, involves taking a character who's trying to Make A Hard Utilitarian Choice and going, hey, hang on, did you actually need to do that or are you just chasing the high of being Adrian Veidt. Were you actually in between a rock and a hard place here or did you do something expedient and thoughtless to try and resolve the situation at hand, which you now feel the need to dress up after the fact in the language of self-sacrifice even though it's some other guy's arterial spray all over your nice outfit. Are you actually in this for the omelet or do you just really enjoy the tactile sensation of breaking eggs

Just discovered this soundtrack that I never knew it existed until today and I am now full of questions like:

1. Why is Rex’s theme called blueberry instead of strawberry, raspberry, lingonberry, cranberry or anything that’s red

2. Why does Mark’s theme sound so similar to Rex’s as if they’re two variations of the same melody

3. Why does Universa have a theme song while she’s not in the animation at all (future plans perhaps?)

Female Rhoa'ni tend to be broody and homebound, often refusing to leave their lairs for months at a time. If they are mated or paired for a season, they are heavily reliant on their partners to provide for them. But they will often have storehouses of food that they've gathered before the season, in case they find themselves with an inept partner.

They are spiteful and mercurial. Females generally only show affection to their broodlings or a long term partner that they've chosen to mate and spend the rest of their life with. Such affection can still be stern and cold, more of scolding than anything. This is in response to the survival rate of hatchlings being low. One out of every three hatchlings won't survive, which is an exceptionally high rate of mortality for Cëlaeon. Females usually won't name their young until they're passed their first year of age.

Females are very facetious, as is the norm for the species. Vain, materialistic and highly covetous. If they have a humanoid form from being a follower of Diyei, they often wear fine element proof fabrics that compliment their various coloring. Adorning themselves with paints, makeups and jewels is very common even on a daily basis. Shiny healthy long hair is important but not necessarily any styling because it will often come undone quickly.

Combat wise, females are just as skilled as males. They do tend to be more cunning but more aggressive in their attacks. More of a blitz and acrobatic style of fighting.

Diyei's daughter, Zibrei, can be considered an exception to many of the rules because she under her father as his enforcer and righthand. She's more aggressive and outright hostile, has never had a brood of her own and is rarely seen in one particular lair for long. Never long enough to build a nest.
