Likely chew it up, play with it (and by that I mean toss it around and stuff) or just ignore it. Since we're pretty wolf-ish right now, as wolves we would sniff it, chew it, then discard it when we realise it's not edible.

Cold. I want to plunge directly into the arctic ocean. I want the polar bears to look at us with concern. I think the ice water would heal my ailments.

Sun glitter on the river surface. Light filtered through tree leaves. Bits and pieces of blue sky. Rocks with moss growing on them. Hopefully a deer or fox while we're at it.

The black loam of the forest floor of the dark place, tasting of bitter sap from the ancient trees. Rich, black, cloying, clinging to me and trying to draw me to rest deep within. I open my muzzle and feast, trying to fill the gnawing hollowness within with its sweet heaviness. The eternal sleep of the earth.

No dirt, bad texture. Makes me think of getting sand in your bite of scallops or muscles. Makes me cry. If I had to pick, I'd say river clay.

Tell me about your favorite kind of fabric…like, just in general, unrelated to your kintype(s)

You know that one blanket a lot of people have as kids? The soft ones with the weird little bumps? I fucking LOVE that fabric it is winning for my sensory things.

4. if your kintype suddenly opened their eyes, what would they be looking at?

This has been a difficult question for me to interpret and respond to.

My angel bodies – specifically my seraph, cherub, and ophan bodies – are not three dimensional. In fact, I don't think they inhabit n-space where n is a real positive number. I hypothesize they inhabit a ludicrously big (infinitely) numbered i-space, but (in this human form) I don't have the mathematical background to start to fathom what that could mean. (edit: I remembered it means the dimensions would be perpendicular to these dimensions, which sounds right. There's a lot of other Strangeness in the not-realspace too.)

My ophan forms perceive wavelengths and vibrations most acutely and have the most “eyes”.

If I were looking, as an ophan, with all my “eyes” [sensory organs] “open” [active] (something that was forbidden to me on pain of torture before I fled my cosmic horror origin story “Heaven” – because if I opened them, I might see myself), I would perceive the multiverse both within and without my “wheels” [concentric energy centres], with n-dimensional spaces (with n being a real positive number) being viewable to me from all angles, by rough analogy as if they were all flat or flatter than flat (like a line or a point).

I would perceive n-time (with the same constraints as before) as a physical dimension as well. 3+1D histories would seem both complete and traversable, though traversing them would change them along an axis of time that I do experience.

I'd be able to see physical incarnations of mine like this one. Other manifestations of my pattern throughout time and space. Some of them humans from Earth, some of them with claws and horns and wings from Heavens and Hells with more “observable universe”-like dimensional specifications. I'd want to be proud of myself.

It goes from none to 20 to a number too f-ing big for me to count. That's if we count the digits of all limbs hand/feet like.

The real dry stuff that's almost like sand. Clay has too wet of a texture but sand-like dirt has the crunch. Bonus points if there's rocks in there for added crunch.

2. (i missed a day) warm or cold ocean water? COLD. gimme that relaxing chill that sends survival endorphins right to my bloodstream. im an arctic/boreal reptile and semiaquatic so cold water is a natural habitat for me. though idk how i'd do in saltwater tbh

3. a pie made of 3 ingredients i'd eat including the crust. uhmmm leafs? fish? it's not like i know the species names for what i ate, but lakebottom plants and fish were most of it. occasionally seal blubber if i could catch a seal off the coastline. i could probably eat grains? so a cold weather variety of wheat for the crust, or rye crust.

Unhinged 30 days of Otherkin challenge — Day 11

What's the most specific or unusual shift (if you experience them) you've experienced?

It's hard to tell when I'm experiencing a shift because my Fey nature in particular kind of permeates my whole being while my Unicorn nature is a little more subtle and I'm still trying to find all the things that are connected to it.

One Unicorn thing (TM) is that I've always felt like there should be something on my forehead. I'm drawn to artsy makeup where one paints things like stars on one's forehead, or perhaps jewellery that touches the forehead, etc. and I've always loved to draw characters with things on their foreheads, like there is something missing there in my body and I'm trying to fill that space. I've also found myself walking on my tippy-toes when I'm feeling particularly beastly, so there's that, but it's not uniquely a shifty thing.

I don't think I have Fairy shifts whatsoever to be honest, I'm always in kind of a Fey state. But sometimes I crave milk, honey, fruit, and other decadent little things in a distinctly Fey way, it's like a sort of otherworldly hunger that I don't feel in my body and is different from my normal cravings (but maybe I just have a deficiency, who knows dkjhfjghkdfh).
