With their impending final battle just two days away, it’s no wonder that everyone is opting to take it easy and make this Sunday a good and lazy one. Usually Minato would go out to the shrine to meet Kamiki at their usual bench, and maybe he will still do that later.
But Junpei beckons him over, brandishing another manga excitedly. The instant he sits down on the couch next to his friend, Koromaru worms his way into Minato’s lap and settles himself there.
Welp. There’s no way he’s moving. He lives here now, on this couch, forever. Or at least until Koromaru decides to get up.
Minato starts losing track of what Junpei’s saying– he talks a little too fast sometimes– but what he does manage to pick out is pretty interesting. And it’s also just nice just to be around this kind of enthusiasm. He lets Junpei’s words break over him like a wave, soaking in the pleasant atmosphere, until a soft ping from his pocket brings him back to reality.
“Oooh, someone asking you out on a Sunday date?” Junpei interrupts himself almost mid-word, grinning hugely.
Minato opens his phone without responding. The subject line reads, ‘Need a favor’ and the sender is not at all who he would have expected. He’s suddenly getting deja vu.
“It’s Sanada-senpai,” he eventually replies.
“Wait, you’ve got a date with Sanada-san?!”
“Are you kidding? Of course not, he’s way out of my league.” Minato opens the email.
Hey. If you’re not too busy, would you mind helping me and Mitsuru out today? Shinji’s getting out of the hospital this week and we’re trying to find something for him as a welcome back thing.
“Dude!” Junpei hoots not even five centimeters from his ear. Minato jerks away and tucks the screen of his phone against his chest, surprised and affronted at how close Junpei suddenly is and how blatantly he’d just read over Minato’s shoulder.
“Don’t look at me like that, man, you’ve got no room to talk.” That’s… fair actually. “For real, though? Aragaki-san’s really coming back this week?”
“He is?!” Minato and Junpei look up to find Fuuka standing at the bottom of the stairs, her eyes bright and enormous and her hands folded prayerfully beneath her chin. Yukari and Aigis stand a few steps behind her, looking equally elated.
“That’s what Sanada-san just said!” Junpei cheers. “He and Kirijo-senpai are getting him some kinda welcome-home present and asked Minato to come along and help!”
Hopefully Sanada hadn’t planned on keeping the news a secret or a surprise for any reason.
“That sounds like a great idea! We should all go and pitch in!” Yukari says.
While they’re all talking about it, Minato takes a quick picture of Koromaru, still situated very comfortably in his lap, and attaches it to a reply.
I’m being held hostage
It’s only a few moments later that another message comes in.
Lol. What’s the ransom?
Never in a million years did he think he’d ever see Sanada use internet slang. It’s weird, but also kind of hilarious.
Hold on let me call a professional in to negotiate
He catches Aigis’ attention and beckons her over. She’s by his side in a matter of seconds. “Yes Minato-san?” She asks.
“What’s it gonna take for Koromaru to let me stand up?”
Koromaru makes a soft chuffing noise and Aigis hums. “Unfortunately, Koromaru-san, that is not an option. His presence was specifically requested.”
Koromaru lets out a long sigh, like she’s asking him to haul the entire population of the dorm across the city all on his own, and not simply to move his own furry butt one couch cushion to the left. He gives a melancholy but thoughtful warble.
Aigis nods smartly and turns to Minato. “He is requesting that Aragaki-san cook for him as soon as he comes back. Only if you promise this to him will you be allowed the use of your legs.”
“Done.” Minato doubts it will take much convincing for Aragaki to spoil Koromaru with homemade food. He shoots another text to Sanada.
Aragaki’s cooking apparently
Koromaru isn’t much of a negotiator, is he? Shinji would do that anyway. Lol.
Hope Koro can’t read or I’m gonna be stuck here while he comes up with a new demand. Be there asap
Where is there btw
Oh! Right, sorry. We’ll wait for you by the big fountain at the center of Paulownia Mall.
K I’ll see you there
He decides to omit the detail that everyone else in the dorm will be coming as well. Better to ask for forgiveness than permission, after all.
Thanks. We appreciate it.
Successfully bribed, Koromaru reluctantly scooches himself off Minato’s legs. Minato scratches under his chin and gently smushes his face until Koromaru lets out a cheerful little ‘ruff’. Hopefully that means Minato’s been absolved of his great sin in displacing him.
“Shall I go fetch Amada-san?” Aigis asks.
“Um. Fetch me for what?”
Everyone turns towards the stairs with a level of synchronicity that’s either eerie or hilarious, Minato can’t decide which.
Amada stands fidgeting on the bottom step, and judging by his expression he also isn’t sure whether to be amused or unsettled at seeing his older dorm mates suddenly channel a stand of flamingos.
“We have just received the news that Aragaki-san will be returning to the dorm within the week,” Aigis continues as if she doesn’t sense the slight tension in the air. “Sanada-san and Mitsuru-san have invited us to assist them in choosing a gift to commemorate the occasion. Would you like to accompany us in this endeavor?”
“He’s really well enough to come back? That’s great!” Amada has got one heck of a poker face– the only clue to the nerves hiding behind it is that his voice has tilted up half an octave. Minato’s impressed. “I would come along but–” His eyes alight on Koromaru and he seems inspired. Minato has to hand it to him for thinking on his feet like that too. “I promised Koromaru I would take him on a good, long walk today. Since it’s so nice out and it’s supposed to get cold again by tomorrow. Y-you know?”
If this is the first Koromaru is hearing about this agreement, he gives no indication. He chuffs happily and slinks off the couch, trotting to sit at Amada’s feet. His tail wags with so much gusto that his entire back end gently sways along with it.
“Well we definitely can’t let you break a promise to Koro-chan.” Yukari picks up the thread effortlessly. Her voice is warm and contains not a single note of pity. “Those sad puppy eyes he does are dangerous!”
Not for the first time, Minato is almost dizzy with gratitude for Yukari’s social graces. Thank god that someone on their team has them.
“Yeah,” Amada agrees, too relieved to fully hide it. “I’ve even seen Mitsuru-san cave to them! Um. Don’t tell her that, though. Anyway, I hope you guys have fun and I’ll see you later–!” He trips over his words in his effort to get them out quickly, and he almost trips over his house shoes too as he hastily swaps them out for his sneakers. And then he’s out the door, Koromaru bouncing joyfully in stride with him.
“How unfortunate,” Aigis laments with her usual mildness. “I had hoped that Amada-san’s participation in this exercise would help ease some of the anxiety he might be experiencing regarding Aragaki-san’s impending return.”
“Oh, Aigis,” Yukari sighs. “That’s a really sweet thought, but… It’s kind of more complicated than that.”
“I see,” Aigis says, in a way that gives the distinct impression that she doesn’t and isn’t sure what to do about it besides fall back on default social scripts.
“Amada-kun might feel weird about helping to pick out a gift for Aragaki-senpai because of– everything,” Yukari says delicately, picking at her nail polish as she chooses her words. “He might think that Aragaki-senpai would be uncomfortable or wouldn’t want something that’s even partly from him. I don’t think Aragaki-senpai would actually feel that way, but…”
“I see,” Aigis says again, and this time it seems like she actually does. “Shall I apologize to Amada-san when I see him next, or would that be another ‘social blunder’?”
“I don’t think you need to apologize, Aigis,” Fuuka assures her. “I’m sure Amada-kun knows that you meant well.”
“Yeah, don’t sweat it, Ai-chan! You and Amada are cool, definitely.” Junpei claps once and starts walking backwards to the front door, arms spread theatrically. “Now, let’s get this show on the road, people! We can’t keep our senpais waitin’!”

Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad Activity Report
Part 7
11/10 (Tue) - Reporter: Yukari Takeba
Wh, wh, wh... J, Junpei! What's with the smell of love?! Don't make such random accusations! I'll kick you away! Ah... It's Takeba... Ahahaha.
Ahem. Well, today, Kirijo-senpai finally came back. As expected, she seemed to be more worn out than I expected, and even though she had come home, I could hardly talk to her...
Also, I'm a bit worried about Sanada-senpai. He seemed really calm while Kirijo-senpai was away, so maybe he was pushing himself too hard. Seeing Kirijo-senpai trapped, Sanada-senpai also felt depressed, just like she was...
For now, we think the best we can do is to not cause trouble for our seniors. So, the second-year students of Gekkoukan Academy, Amada-kun representing the elementary school, and Koro-chan representing the animals will be doing their best to support the two of them.
11/16 (Mon) - Reporter: Mitsuru Kirijo
Sanada-senpai and Kirijo-senpai, if there's anything we can do for you, please let us know. Junpei will take full responsibility and fulfill his mission. So, Junpei, please take care of them. This was Takeba.
11/11 (Wed) - Reporter: Fuuka Yamagishi
Good evening, this is Yamagishi.
Yukari-chan, you're overreacting... So it's obvious even if it's not Junpei-kun? But Junpei-kun, do I smell love too? Hmm, that's a no-go. Unfortunately, I don't think I'm connected to anyone like that yet.
Speaking of love, the transfer student Ryoji-kun is somehow interesting, isn't he? Oh, I'm not saying anything about him... but don't you like Aigis' reaction when she first met him? It was the first time I've seen such an intense reaction as "No way!"
He seems to be very popular with girls, but even without that, it's a little strange. Am I overthinking it?
By the way... or rather, this is the main topic, but is Kirijo-senpai okay? We're currently exploring Tartarus again, little by little. With the school trip approaching, the Student Council work must be busy, so please leave it to us and relax for a while.
11/12 (Thu) - Reporter: Aigis
A school trip...a very interesting event. I've learned quite a bit about school life, but sleeping in the same room as my classmates is a rare experience.
Now that I think about it, I would have called it a "special mission" school trip in the past, but now I'm pretty much a high school girl, so a school trip is not a special mission. It's a major event. I'm welcome!
But Ryoji-san, that's a no-no. Field leader, please be careful not to let your emotions get the better of you in an extraordinary environment like a school trip and deepen your relationship with Ryoji-san.
11/13 (Fri) - Reporter: Ken Amada
School trip... In high school, we're going to Kyoto. Yukari-san looked strange when she heard it was Kyoto, so maybe she doesn't like it? In my case, I hardly ever had the chance to travel, so I'm just jealous that you can go out somewhere.
For now, I've requested souvenirs from the field leader, but if you can give me something else, I'll have no complaints.
Oh, Junpei-san. I'll tell you now, wooden swords are a no-no. Also, anything that says "love," "friendship," or "effort" is a no-no.
By the way, speaking of Junpei-san, did you go to the hospital today? I wonder how Chidori-san is doing. Did you get to see her? You see, everyone except Chidori-san from Strega lost the battle during the last operation... She's having a hard time too. It may be strange for me to say this, but please be sure to stay with her.
11/14 (Sat) - Reporter: Mitsuru Kirijo
It's Kirijo.
Phew... It's been a while since I've been in this room.
I'm sorry for causing trouble to everyone. I'm not sure if I can be a valuable fighting force, but I'm finally feeling motivated.
...For now, I still haven't found the purpose of the battle, but there's no doubt that the number of people suffering from Apathy Syndrome due to the shadows' damage is increasing. In that case, we have no choice but to hunt shadows, even if it's only a symptomatic treatment.
It may be a little lonely with a captain like this, but I intend to come up with a plan soon. Please stay like this for a while...I'm counting on you.
Now for the school trip...
11/15 (Sun) - Reporter: Yukari Takeba
Well, it's Takeba.
Kirijo-senpai, you still seem tired... But I think it's understandable considering the situation. You suddenly lost your goal.
I don't know if this will help, but before we joined SEES, when the large Shadows hadn't appeared yet, you had no idea how to make the Dark Hour disappear, right?
But you, Kirijo-senpai, started the squad on your own five years ago and survived the seemingly endless battles with Sanada-senpai and Aragaki-senpai. Is it unreasonable to think that even if you lose sight of your goal, you've just gone back to that time...?
…Hmm, sorry. I may have been a bit pushy without considering the feelings of the senpais. To be honest, I'm also at a loss as to what to do from now on. Anyway, if you need anything, please let me know anytime. This was Takeba...
It's Kirijo.
Takeba, you've been a big help with the other day's activity report and today's work. I've also been a nuisance to everyone else because of my incompetence. I'm really sorry.
To tell the truth, I've been a lot of trouble to the Student Council. Today, because I disappeared without a trace, even the general students were hunted down and searched for. I hope no one in this dorm was involved.
Anyway, both the shadow fighting and the Student Council are scheduled to be fully restored from today. I'll be counting on you.
By the way... should I ask Iori or Takeba? Um, who is this transfer student called Mochizuki? He seems to have transferred while I was away, but is he the son of some company CEO or something?
I was suddenly invited to a meal at a hotel today. I have had meals with clients and business partners in the Kirijo Group before, but this was the first time I had met them face to face, so I was a bit hesitant. Was I being rude?
11/17 (Tue) - Reporter: Ken Amada
Mitsuru-san... If you're serious about that, I think you should learn a bit about your awareness of danger as a woman. I hope you haven't gotten caught up in some weird pick-up scheme in Kyoto. I wonder if you'll be okay...
So, starting today, everyone is on a school trip. Only Koromaru and I are in the dorm. It would be a problem if we lived in a normal dormitory with just one elementary school student and one dog, but we are still members of SEES. At least in terms of crime prevention, it's completely safe. Please feel sorry for the thief.
Well, I'm looking forward to the souvenirs.
11/18 (Wed) - Reporter: Ken Amada
It's the second day since you all left.
I'm not lonely, but... I think the distance between Koromaru and I is starting to get a bit tense when we're alone together. I wish I could understand Koromaru's words like Aigis does.
Today, after school, I took Koromaru for a walk. However, I was a little late with the planning and forgot about Koromaru's walking route. We crossed Moonlight Bridge on foot, went to Port Island, and returned to the dormitory...
I just had dinner and I'm going to bed now. Good night.
11/19 (Thu) - Reporter: Ken Amada
Third day of the school trip.
Where will everyone be today? I'm sure most of you will have visited the standard tourist spots of Kiyomizu-dera Temple and the Kyoto Imperial Palace on the first day of the school trip, but maybe you'll go a little further and visit Kinkaku-ji Temple or Ginkaku-ji Temple?
Maybe you think you know a lot about it even though you've never been there? Hehehe. Actually, I was just using the terminal here to look at some Kyoto tourism websites.
Kyoto seems like a nice place... Oh, I'm not saying that I want to go there. I'm just impressed by the beautiful scenery. Oh, if someone is interested in going again, I might be happy if they invite me too... The open-air baths would be great.
…No, I'm not urging you or anything. If you want to go, you can go by yourself. Please come back early tomorrow. Be careful on the way back.
11/20 (Fri) - Reporter: Akihiko Sanada
It may sound cliché, but to be honest, I feel like I'm the best. Yes, I feel like I've finally found the teleportation device in Tartarus and escaped to the entrance...
Ah, it seems like Amada has been very lonely. Well, I'll invite him on a trip sometime. As for the open-air bath... well, someday...
11/21 (Sat) - Reporter: Junpei Iori
Hi, Junpei here. Amada, it seems like you had a really hard time staying home alone. So why aren't you accepting the souvenir I went to the trouble of buying for you? It was really hard to find, the ornament from Kinkakuji that says "All-out attack." No, I never imagined something like this would be serious either.
I don't want anything with words like "love," "friendship," or "effort" written on it, so I wondered if there were any words that would make Amada happy. I want to be paid for my labor!
Oh, now that I think about work, I remembered. I have a hands-on study session starting the day after tomorrow... This school doesn't allow part-time job.
I've lived my life avoiding work to the point where I'm glad there's a school rule that prohibits part-time jobs, so why do I have to go through the trouble of doing it in class?
What's more, I wish they'd picked a job that looked at least a bit interesting, but from what I've heard from my seniors, it's either unloading, carrying, or shouldering luggage, which are all the same!
Kirijo-senpai, do you have any secret tricks to use the Kirijo group's powers to give everyone in the dorm the easy work?
For now, my hopes are that there will be 20 minute breaks every hour, I won't have to lift anything heavier than a rice bowl, and it would be nice if there were cute girls working with me, would that be okay?
11/22 (Sun) - Reporter: Mitsuru Kirijo
It's Kirijo. Junpei Iori... Don't be so selfish, you idiot!
I thought someone had gone all the way to the head of the Kirijo family's household to talk about work and had returned tired, but to be greeted with such a pointless report is beyond anger; it makes me dumbfounded.
To begin with, the Kirijo Group has nothing to do with experiential learning. If you send students from the school Kirijo runs to Kirijo's company, they'll have an easy time, that's for sure. That would defeat the purpose of off-campus training!
Well... I guess it's not possible this year, but next year I might be able to get you into a company that's a good fit for you. I heard recently that the president of the mail-order company, Tanaka's Amazing Commodities, heard about our off-campus internship and asked me if I would like to have some students attend. That place is famous for its harsh working environment, with 24-hour full-time work. For people like you who have little motivation to work, they make you work even if you don't say anything. What do you think? They make you work really hard, so it's a good place to work, isn't it?
…Yeah, it feels like I'm really getting back to normal. I guess this is how I should be. Iori, your silly story seems to have cheered me up just now. Thank you. Well, I guess I'll rest before the Dark Hour today.
11/23 (Mon) - Reporter: Fuuka Yamagishi
Something sad... happened. It was during the Dark Hour last night...
Uh... uh...
Wait...
I guess I shouldn't push myself after all. Oh, it's nothing.
It looks like it's tough for Fuuka, so I'll start recording from here. Um... where should I start? Yes, it was yesterday's Dark Hour.
Fuuka caught Strega's presence before Tartarus, and it was that Chidori, Junpei's precious one.
Actually, she was supposed to be hospitalized, but I found out today... there was an attack on the hospital, and she went missing at the time. And then, that Chidori suddenly attacked Junpei... she was really in love with Junpei, but she didn't know what her feelings were, and she said it was her fault because Junpei was there... what an idiot, that girl. She was tempted by that perverted Strega guy! Y-Yes. After that, two men from Strega appeared and shot Junpei...
I'm sorry, but I don't remember that part very well. I'll leave out the details, but Junpei was close to death once. But that girl's Persona... I think she was called Medea. With the power of that Persona, she gave Junpei life... Medea's power is the exact opposite of Fuuka's Juno's; it's not the power to sense life, but the power to release one's own life. And so, even though she was weak from fighting us before, she gave all her remaining life to Junpei...
I'm sorry. I'm still confused and can't put it into words well. It's not something that can be said so easily, I want more...more...!
Yukari-chan...
I'm fine now. Let's take over. Right?
This is Yamagishi. I'll take over. Chidori-san has passed away. She gave her life, and Junpei-kun is safe. However, I allowed Takaya and Jin, the two who call themselves Strega, to escape.
As of today, Junpei-kun has gone somewhere and is gone. I'm very worried, but I don't think the worst will happen. Junpei knew very well that Chidori gave him his life. So, I think it will be okay.
Chidori's body has now been moved to Kirijo. They need to identify her... I wonder what they'll do about the funeral.
Anyway, we're waiting for Junpei to return. I'm sure he'll be fine.
11/24 (Tue) - Reporter: Akihiko Sanada
Today, the second-year students came home exhausted from their field trip. I didn't go to their rooms to check, but I think they were so tired that they fell asleep around 10 o'clock. Well, that's what happened. I'm sure they were grateful in a way for being so tired that they didn't have time to think about anything.
However, Junpei still hasn't come back to the dorms, and he hasn't participated in the field trip. I'm sure he'll come back, but... it's too heavy for one person to carry. It's several times heavier than the baggage you carry on a field trip. When I was there, there was Amada, who felt the same way. We shared it between the two of us, and somehow we managed to carry it all.
…Junpei, come back soon.
The only way to rise from sadness is to stand on your own two feet. But when you can't stand on your own, someone will hold your hand. The people in this dorm are all good-natured, so there will be plenty of arms outstretched to help you. You know that, don't you?
I'm sure she's waiting for that too.
11/25 (Wed) - Reporter: Mitsuru Kirijo
It's Kirijo. The second-year students are going on an experiential learning session today. Even to begin with, everyone is quiet.
Furthermore, the number of people has decreased, so the dormitory is so quiet it feels like no one is living there... Iori hasn't returned yet.
Akihiko says he's fine, but when I think of my mental state when I lost my father, I can't fully relax.
Well, I have no choice but to believe him... Regarding the girl named Chidori, I'd like to report what Kirijo's lab has learned. When the results of the tests from when she was hospitalized were revealed, it was a side effect of the suppressor, and even if this incident hadn't happened, she would have had about two years to live.
Nothing about her identity remains a mystery. It's doubtful whether her last name, or even the name Chidori, was real. If we could find out the true identity of the mastermind who turned the Strega into Persona Users, we could investigate, but there is no information on that either. For now, I have instructed them to continue the investigation.
That's all we know. The guys at the lab were interested in the artificial Persona Users, and some even insisted on an autopsy, but I stopped them from doing so. That's all for now.
11/26 (Thu) - Reporter: Aigis
The third day of the experience program has ended. Everyone except for me seems to be exhausted.
Junpei-san has still not returned. Where is he?
Chidori gave her life with a will that went beyond biological instinct. Junpei, who inherited her will, will inevitably return. I'm sure of it.
11/27 (Fri) - Reporter: Yukari Takeba
Well, this is Takeba. I've finally finished my hands-on learning. My arms are sore, my back is sore, my eyes are droopy, and I feel like I've aged all at once. I'm sure the others are feeling the same way. Oh, except for Aigis. She was working silently, saying she was good at this kind of thing.
And then...Junpei finally returned home.
Seriously, that idiot caused me so much worry...
Although he's safe, he looks more depressed and weak than I've ever seen him before... But I'll wait. The guy I know is the kind of guy who always bounces back even when he's down.
I'm watching closely, Junpei.
11/28 (Sat) - Reporter: Junpei Iori
…Hehe, it's Junpei. I'm so sorry for worrying everyone. Well, I just heard about the activities while I was away. I don't know, but I feel sorry, but I'm also grateful... I'm really touched, I guess. Well, I've finally come back, so I'll do a report on my activities to celebrate my return. It's a matter of settling things, a matter of settling things.
...a...matter of...
Oh, no, I'm not going senile, I just realized that I've never really made a proper report in the first place, hahahaha.
Wow, so this is to celebrate my return and my first report? That's pretty fancy, isn't it?
Anyway, there was only one thing that related to SEES today. I'll just give you a quick report.
Well, should I start by saying that Tatsumi Memorial Hospital... has delivered Chidori's belongings to Kirijo-senpai. Well, when I say belongings, it was just one sketchbook.
But I was a little surprised by the contents of that sketchbook...
The pictures of Chidori that I know are kind of unintelligible, like avant-garde art, surreal, rare...Real Madrid...no. They're just messy pictures like that.
But...the drawing on the last page was an amazingly good one, I was amazed that she could draw something like that...
...Well, to be honest, it was a really handsome portrait of Iori Junpei-sama!
However, when the details are made to that extent, it's really embarrassing, or rather, I get a little embarrassed.
…So that’s why I’m here talking to you like this right now.
Okay, the report is over! I'll be back working hard starting tomorrow, so please keep me company!
11/29 (Sun) - Reporter: Fuuka Yamagishi
Good evening, this is Yamagishi.
I'm glad you're feeling better, Junpei...and once again...welcome back.
It feels like it's been a while since we've been able to report on our activities in a normal atmosphere. However, it seems like everyone is still tired from all the hard work that's been going on, so there's nothing special to do today...
Ah, there was! That's right, something special.
Someone other than SEES showed up as a guest at the Iwatodai dormitory.
That person was actually the much talked about transfer student from Class F, Ryoji Mochizuki. Apparently, he became friends with Junpei on the school trip, and they were chatting for quite a long time in the room. Ah, but apparently I just didn't notice, and he'd already been here before, although I'm not sure if it was before or after the field trip.
It's kind of an unexpected combination, isn't it? Ryoji is fashionable, flawless and popular, and Junpei is, um, a bit of a different type. I wonder what they had in common?
11/30 (Mon) - Reporter: Ken Amada
Tonight, the atmosphere was a little different than usual. Well, I know the reason why. Everyone except for me, Aigis, and Koromaru has been holed up in their rooms studying all day. ...And Junpei too!
When I asked Aigis, she said that the final exams are coming up in two weeks, so I think they're studying for those exams. But with a normal exam, Yukari would start to push herself about a week or two before, and then Sanada would start nagging Junpei, who never seems to start studying, and then Mitsuru would motivate everyone. But this time it's different...
I guess it's just a result of you all growing up through a lot of things, right?
Still, it's surprising that Junpei is starting to study at this time of year... And what's more, I've been watching him for over an hour and he hasn't even come out to the break room... People can change all they want. Good luck to everyone.
12/1 (Tue) - Reporter: Akihiko Sanada
It seems like all the members are studying hard on their own for this final term. As a mother-in-law, I feel like there isn't enough for them to do.
…Just kidding.
But Junpei really started studying on his own. I'm not joking, it looks like it's going to rain or snow here. Well, do your best.
…Actually, there's something that's been bothering me today. What on earth happened to Aigis? Has she always shown such a sad expression? Maybe you should be a little more careful and considerate of her. I know this sounds strange, but she just seemed like a normal scared girl. Is she okay...?

I'm totally with you on the pre-P3 timeline. I love love love having exact dates for everything, so the lack of information is sooooo frustrating. Even worse being a Sho fan as there's barely anything, best I've got is that the experiments on him took place in 1999 (mentioned by Labrys in the P3 side as she's heading to the top of the tower), and according to the manga he was 8 when he nearly died during "combat training", so if you take the info we get in the manga as canon then he'd be the about same age as the P3 3rd year trio. Idk if it's helpful in any way, I'm just a bit insane about the guy. Sorry for coming in here and rambling.
Oooh! Interesting!!! And don't worry about being insane about the characters lol I am the same with tomato boy's horrible dad. Honestly, the bit I focus on is whether it's before or after the explosion from 10 years ago for sequence of events.
Here are some of my footnotes: Spoilers and excessive yapping ahead
Child experimentation and pursuit of inducing personas + evokers were only conceived post-Mitsuru's awakening within Tartarus. Which is post-explosion. (Source: In-game notes, Persona 3 Club Book)
This makes a lot of sense what with the creation of Theurgy/new equipment for SEES. Not saying child experimentation didn't happen pre-explosion era, but it certainly didn't stop. These all had to be Kirijo group-sanctioned activities, Ikutsuki did not work alone and without support.
The above implies that Sho + Strega + other child victims were only worked on post-explosion too, as the only reason they did so was to gather as many Persona users to explore Tartarus. So maybe? Late 1999, immediately after explosion? Once Tartarus exploration trapped a bunch of kids and failed though, the experiments were dropped. Strega escaped before this. Sho got into a coma before this.
The issue with timeline starts when Sho's plume of dusk scenario seems to be the key to the creation of Anti-Shadow Weapons. The existence of Minazuki inspired the researchers to trial Aigis, Labrys and their brethren needing a plume of dusk to develop their sentience. (I need a source for this though, lol.) And Aigis needs to be around pre-explosion to be able to trap Death.
Soooooo. The timeline/sequence of events is shot to hell haha. I might've mixed up "Discovering a plume of dusk contains a soul in robots so they can use personas too >>> Let's try putting this in a child so he can get a persona" reasoning timeline... but it makes less sense in this direction.
Now for my personal thoughts: I believe the game wants to frame it as being "pre-explosion" and during Koetsu Kirijo era to idk. Bundle all the evil to that time, place all possible evil on Ikutsuki, and suggest they've turned a new leaf, but are maybe burdened by the ethical issues in pursuit of it. At least, that's how I've conceived Takeharu Kirijo. "The ends justify the means, unfortunately" type beat. It matches up with how he wants to distance himself from Mitsuru, too. Still, it is his Kirijo Group covering up the incident that killed Ken's mom, his Kirijo Group that decides Eiichirou Takeba should remain slandered in public eye and for Yukari + her mom to experience the fallout. Wtf.
Forewarning for Ikutsuki yapping ahead lol.
Unfortunately, they decided Ikutsuki (as the last representative of "old-world" Kirijo group) became the easiest scapegoat for all of this heinous shit. I have opinions about their use of him as a character like this, because it's so cheap. In P3 game's story alone, his (+Strega's) role in the story is meant to be an antithesis to Protag + SEES. So what does that mean exactly? Throwing away bonds/not forming them, seeing no meaning in living after pain, finding meaning/will to live in the pursuit of death etc.
These are all extremely sympathetic points for Strega, for Sho, for literally any character that "experiences the doomerisms". But in the case of Ikutsuki, suddenly it is of no consequence. The writers hate him/don't care for him as a character, when he could be so intriguing. Why does he believe the world needs to be remade? He's the last mouthpiece for the dead Kirijo group cultists too, so!!!!
All persona games have always explored how people are complex and how causing suffering is often the result of suffering- yet Shuji, the guy who actually kills himself / seeks death so doggedly / deludes himself into a prophecy that would make living just a bit longer more bearable is. Just crazy I guess. Guy who spent 10 years like this, taking solace in the fact that Nyx is coming...
Sho's actions mirror Ikutsuki's, Strega believe in Nyx, that implies something for Ikutsuki too lol. That's lost to everyone because he's never given more reason to exist on screen besides to torment people with his puns.
TLDR: I'm so so so salty about Shuji haha. Sorry, he's my fave because he's essentially "What if unhealable mental illness in man" which is horrifyingly sad. The concept of him is so delightfully doomed. Rounding back to topic (OOPS), the timeline messiness was likely to just set up some nebulous evil to contrast next to SEES as well as give them hurdles to overcome. I just think they should've fleshed out parallels in the human condition to experience hurt and contrast of how to live with it though, haha.
#asks#persona 3#shuji ikutsuki#takeharu kirijo#persona 3 reload#sorry for the fucking thesis anon#im passionate about characters given the short stick lol#so extremely biased but ughghghgghg#they had like what 3 games to flesh ikutsuki out but didnt#can u imagine hating a character so much you want to manipulate the games lore timeline so you can make him even more hateable

Since the Answer DLC for Reload just dropped, wanted to share a bit on Yukari and the twins in the Ace in the Hole verse-
Yukari is obviously grieving a lot, like in canon. But she actually knew she was pregnant when the Answer happened. I leave it a bit vague in-story, regarding the timing of the twins' conception, just that they were born a couple weeks early and that their birthday is in September. But Yukari was late in her first trimester during the Answer. The main reason why the twins exist is to serve as a contrast to Akechi; Yukari received support from SEES while Tsukiko unfortunately did not. But I also thought it would make Yukari's behavior a little more tragic since she wants Minato to get to know their unborn child.
Yukari would only reveal this during her breakdown after trying to take the key from Aigis. But it also makes Mitsuru encouraging her to let everyone support her more poignant.

I am very invested in the P3 x soul eater au even if I have not seen soul eater
unfortunately i didn’t plan it as far as an actual plot goes. i basically just assigned whether or not they were weapons or meisters and moved on with my day 😭
if u dont know soul eater, the simplest way i can explain is that there’s meisters (ppl who use weapons) and demon weapons (ppl who are weapons). & theyre usually partners.
the way i had partners set up was:
minato/ryoji + kotone/aigis + junpei/fuuka + yukari/mitsuru + akihiko/shinjiro + ken/koromaru
yeah it’s hard to yap about this when i never had an actual storyline in my head 😭 basically how i chose the actual weapon form they take was i picked what weapons the characters already use in the game. so, even tho akihiko uses boxing gloves, shinjiro is an axe. yukari uses a bow, but mitsuru is a fencing sword, etc. i could’ve made shinjiro & mitsuru be knuckle dusters & a bow respectively, but i didn’t see the fun in it tbh. i thought it could be cool to see them learn to use what their partner is comfortable transforming into ✌️
except fuuka. she was kicking my ass trying to decide what she’d be, so i just pictured fuuka would be the one weapon catering to ppls preferences. so, partners w junpei, she’s just a sword or a baseball bat or smth + koromaru is the same. w ken, he’s a lance… as much as i thought about & laughed at ken, small child, running around with a knife that happens to also be his dog best friend, i figured it wouldnt work out…
lastly, ryoji is a scythe & aigis is a gun. kotone using a machine gun is an important part of this au. not for any particular reason i just think its a little funny
i had stuff planned for ryoji to make him all special but honestly i think planning the au so intricately was what burnt me out 😭😭 opening the wiki to relearn anime lore i watched at like 11 years old and doing my research when all i wanted to do was draw akihiko with a big ass axe 💔
#ask#p3ask#just talking about this au tired me out#when i listen to resonance again ill be changing my tune tho fr#it’s still fun but i feel like soul eater aus are more work than you would think#when u want to actually delve into the world that is#if u just wanna draw weapons and meisters and not think abt the plot#its fun asf#also i just wanted to have fun with soul eaters fashion#never even got that far 💔💔#anyways. at least now shinjiro isn’t the only one to blame for ken’s mom dying#now it’s also akihiko’s fault 🖤

I played Aegis: The First Mission as it was released on Steam yesterday. Predictable, but cute.
Not sure if the game is supposed to "canon" or not. The plot is Aigis training on Yakushima under a guy named Aizawa who was hired by the Kirijo Group. She is assisted by three scientists at the Kirijo lab, Kimijima (Aigis's creator-mom-figure who also wears a red ribbon), Sayama (weapons / tech lady who looks like she's wearing baggy lounge pants - what a mood), and Takeba / Yukari's dad. To Kimijima, Aigis is more than just an anti-Shadow robot, which causes a conflict of interest between her and the wishes of the Kirijo Group.
It explains how Aigis got her character speech quirk as well. In Persona 3, she uses the Japanese copula であります (I believe this was localized into her saying, "...as they say" in Reload), and First Mission explains that she does this because Aizawa instructed her to. (At the end of First Mission, she gets her memories wiped due to what happens on Yakushima, but I suppose her still using the same copula in Persona 3 suggests that some things aren't just memories.)
There are some comical details like how you get around Yakushima via bus, giving the mental image of Aigis boarding a civilian bus back to the lab, equipped with a grenade launcher and finger guns.
The gameplay is kiiinda ass as you awkwardly turn Aigis around to fire at things and try to aim Palladion, but it is a port of a 2007 flip phone game. Unfortunately, the port itself is kinda buggy. The fade-to-black effect during cutscenes seems to be broken, so you will see Aigis Naruto run out a door, except her model stops there and you see it semi-fade to black. There is also supposed to be some kind of faded scanline filter effect on portraits when Aigis is talking to people via communicator that is absolutely broken and just shows horizontal, fully visible lines over people's faces--it is kinda comical. Neither of these really interfere with gameplay though.
Maybe check it out an English patch is released? Afaik, there's a group of people working on doing it already.

*cracks knuckles*
this was a detail i noticed a while ago when listening to and watching the persona 3 the weird masquerade version of brand new days however i was only watching the male mc version and it was grainy quality but at the very end the lights go dim and everyone does this weird gesture/motion with their hands, everyone doing it at a different pace, then it looks like they're sending it up into the air. now, i didnt watch p3twm HOWEVER i think it's based off p3p hopefully meaning the story is still pretty much the same aside the songs the cast sings (because i mean. its a stage version what else do u expect) and a few scenes probs but ANYWAYS lets also make note that in the game when everyone's persona awakens and they've resolved something in themselves and it appears as a weird little ball of light, im going to assume that that's what's being sent up into the air
okay, now back to p3twm im assuming the gesture/hand movement they're making resembles something, as everyone does it at a different pace and some people do NOT do it at all, what could this mean? i'm going to interpret it as when they've found a reason for life, i cannot say answer to life as only Aigis and the MC learn the answer to life and it isn't exactly shared to us and both of them only learn at the end of their games
everyone finds their reason differently, everyone has their different reasons. everyone finds it at different times, some later than others. im going to list from who does the gesture first to last (discluding mc) assuming it's who found their reasons first and who found theirs last, and some of their reasons if i can remember:
Aigis (protecting and staying by mc's side), Yukari, Fuuka. Junpei (theres probs another, but also for Chidori after she gave her life to him), akihiko (something about shinji i think), ken (also because of shinji), mitsuru, Chidori(? she isnt seen doing the full thing, however she brings both of her hands together and in the same way everyone else does. her will would be the love she found for junpei and yada yada)
and then the characters who do not do the full gesture (discluding chidori):
jin, takaya, and ryoji
now, I noticed when we zoom back out that Jin and Takaya dont exactly do anything until they send something into the air like everyone else, because i couldnt see what exactly they were doing though i went to search for another version which was the femc version now i know they both may not be the exact same however it is close enough and it actually stays zoomed out and you can see when everyone does the thing but anyways
jin and takaya use one hand, about a second after chidori they reach for something and pull to to them, but not like the others. its almost as if they keep it at a distance, but still keeping it close. they do however follow the others by sending it into the air.
ryoji however, does not do anything. that is until it's mc singing the final verse, his hand reaches up. i cant see what hes doing tho unfortunately smh
jin and takaya share similar ideals, albeit jin only does because he's loyal to takaya and such and such (ok idk how to word that but pls understand what i meannn), which leads to both of them not looking towards the future as they believe they do not have time and will die. which also leads them to wanting nyx to destroy the world and humanity.
ryoji is essentially death. he is the embodiment of it. that's why he doesn't do anything. however, he knows he will be at mc's side, bc yknow mc dies at the end becoming the great seal.
now, mc doing the hand gesture last may just be because he's singing the final verse however his is also different, he reaches out towards the audience/camera instead of sending it up. again, may be bc hes singing final, but it's still an interesting detail, as he is the one who finds the answer to life, and giving it up for the future of his friends.
i love this little detail. i dont think my interpretation is exactly right but boy is it still something that got me thinking. such a small detail too
#i am BAD at writing my thoughts bc the moment i type it up or write it down i cannot word#persona 3 spoilers#persona 3 the weird masquerade#persona 3#i really only noticed this bc of my love for jin LOL#i wont tag everyone just people i mostly talked about at the end#persona 3 mc#jin shirato#takaya sakaki#ryoji mochizuki

persona 3 x class of 09 maybe? idk
Persona 3 is good.
I do not like Class of 09 unfortunately.
As for what would happen? I’m guessing Yukari, Mitsuru, and Aigis would have a word or two for 99% of the male population in Nicole’s hometown ‘cus they are basically an entire society made up of Kamoshida’s & Mitsuo’s.
As for the female population, well the entire Iwatodai dorm would keep a football field’s distance from away them too given they’re little better morally.

hi! I noticed that aigis looks taller than minato in your drawings. might I ask about your height headcanons regarding SEES + Ryoji pretty please 🙏🙏 love all your doodles btw! akechi looks stunning in your art style. you have such a good feel for using expressions & colours to set a mood (sorry for my wacky english, good god)
oh anon I am so sorry it took me forever to get to this. I forgot this was in my inbox 😭 BUT YES I can give you my height headcanons.
Putting this under a cut bc I used hikaku sitatter to compare my headcanon heights months ago + my reasoning
so I'll start out with the ones that didn't change from their canon heights: Yukari, Akihiko, Ken (he is a child and also I couldn't fit him on the chart. it was max 10 people unfortunately), and Koromaru (dog). For Yukari and Akihiko I feel like their canon heights suit them in my very biased opinion.
For Junpei: He just gives tall guy that just had a growth spurt and doesn't know what to do with the extra like 6cm he's acquired. so I went with his height that is canon for P4AU (177cm) instead of his P3 canon height (170.5cm).
For Mitsuru: Her canon height is actually 166cm, but I refuse to believe that. She's still shorter then the guys (excluding Minato) but she is their height by proxy because she always wears heels and boots. It adds to her aura I think.
For Aegis: she is physically a battle robot, built to fight supernatural beings born from the heart. and also her hooves. I actually always thought she was taller than average instead of 163cm just because she was a robot (I've played more P3P then P3fes so I always imagined her to be tall). She was built to be a protector and a tank. There is a lot of juxtaposition in her being a tall robot made of metal and her soft human heart underneath that. Also she needs to be taller than Kotone AND Minato. It's a requirement.
For Fuuka: she is canonically 150cm. I think I made her 154cm because I felt bad that she was so much shorter then everyone... she is still the shortest (not including Ken) but its a smaller gap.
For Shinjiro: his canon height is 177cm. I don't know why I made him 178cm. maybe because I felt he deserved to be at least 1cm taller than Junpei. But you can come to your own conclusions for this.
For Kotone: I never imagined her as being super tall but at least taller than Fuuka and Yukari. And she is a short menace but not a 160cm short menace to me. She stole 5cm from Minato as comeuppance. Also I think it's funny when Minato and Kotone are the same height. not because of the twin headcanon but just because
For Minato: Kotone stole 5cm. and he needs to be shorter than Aegis or its Incorrect. Also considering how inconsistent P3 character heights are displayed (looking at you P3DAN) I kind of default to the way Sogabe draws Minato. Tiny.
And for special-est boy Ryoji: as far as I know I have never found a canon height for Ryoji (which is fine) and I often go off vibes for character heights anyway + I used screenshots from the P3 movies just to get a general idea of Ryoji's possible height. which is probably about 180cm to Minato's canon 170cm (for the movies). I thought it was funny if I kept Ryoji the same (approximate) height despite making Minato shorter. Also there's something endearing about Ryoji being ridiculously tall AND taller than the rest of SEES. godspeed to him. he has probably knocked his head on plenty of doorframes in the span of two months.
And that's all!!! again sorry for taking so long to get to this anon I love getting asks like this but the executive disfunction sometimes makes me forget that people actually send me asks. I'll do better next time o7

my thoughts on the persona 3 cast
SPOILERS BELOW (OBVIOUSLY) Junpei Iori Battle Rating: 3/10 Junpei was never doing anything too impressive in all honesty. He had Agi and he had decent Phys skills, but he began losing relevance once Akihiko joined and Character Rating: 10/10 There's one of his lines that really spoke to me, and it went something like: "The only reason every day has felt the same was because I wasn't putting in the effort to make every day different." It's really stuck with me, and in addition, him helping Chidori find reason to want to look towards the future and living was also beautifully done. Yukari Takeba Battle Rating: 9/10 She's pretty useful early-game and late-game, with a slightly weaker mid-game due to Ken and Mitsuru being slightly more useful. Character Rating: 8/10 Seeing her come to terms with her father's death and her resolve to end the Dark Hour was very beautifully done, and seeing her interactions with Mitsuru really helped her character a lot. Akihiko Sanada Battle Rating: 10/10 Debuffing and having ridiculous normal attacks made Akihiko a staple team member for me, and boy does he pack a punch. It's a shame he doesn't get any physical skills, but his normal attack is pretty good as is. Character Rating: 10/10 Just look at the scene where he talks to Shinjiro's coffin and you just know, man. I couldn't do his character justice in a description, but I can at least lament at how they murdered his character so he could be turned into "lol protein!!!!!" man.
Mitsuru Kirijo Battle Rating: 8/10 "haha marin karin" have you heard about FULL OFFENSE (or playing portable like i did) She's pretty good. Heals plus damn good ice damage is very very nice. Character Rating: 8/10 Similarly to Yukari, her character benefits a lot from having to come to terms with her father's death. I unfortunately can't give much say, as I didn't get to spend much time with her. Once I do replay P3, I'll go through her S. Link. Fuuka Yamagishi Battle Rating: uhhh/10 She's your support, so, uh. Yeah? Kinda hard to rate her in that aspect. Character Rating: 7/10 She had cute interactions with Natsuki. While her character don't go extraordinarily far, she doesn't really need to have a deep character. Aigis Battle Rating: 10/10 She is so fucking busted and she also provides buffs and can also HEAL??? And she comes with Orgia Mode to boot? The devs 100% wanted you to use Aigis. Character Rating: 10/10 Man. Seeing her come to terms with how she'll never be human the more human she gets really hits hard, but seeing her resolve to "live" as herself and not as who she was made to be was such a great scene it made me tear up. Koromaru Battle Rating: 8/10 dog. The Mudo and Agi support kind of just make him a better Junpei I guess? I used him a bunch while Aigis was out and he did a great job. Character Rating: 6/10 I mean, dog? It's hard to give him character, but it's nice seeing him come to terms with his former master's death. Ken Amada Battle Rating: 7/10 He comes with healing support like Yukari, and the Hama skills are nice too. Shame he overlaps Zio with Akihiko, but he's not bad if you're not running Akihiko. Character Rating: 8/10 Like with most Persona 3 characters, seeing him deal with his mother's death is a big showcase of his character. It's nice seeing undertones of his character in the S. Link, and how he wants to be older and how he likes superhero movies but deep down he wants to be taken seriously, and he wants to be seen as more than just a kid. That being said, if you romance him with FeMC, what the fuck is wrong with you. That's a kid. Shinjiro Aragaki Battle Rating: i dunno I never used Shinjiro, but from the looks of it, he seems to be heavily phys-focused which is good for bosses but not so much for Tartatus exploration. Character Rating: 8/10 He's got cute stuff going on with Koromaru, but he's mostly a wheel to move other characters than he is a vehicle himself, if you understand what I'm saying. That being said, he acts as a fantastic wheel for both Akihiko and Ken, being pivotal for their character growths. In general, the S.E.E.S. has some fantastic characters under their belt, and I couldn't be any happier Persona 3 was my first Persona game. I'll probably give my thoughts on the Investigation Team another time.

Okay I should have made this post a few days ago...but still! I'm making it now I've just been having so much fun with P3R and so much has been happening! Anyways spoilers for the November story content!
I KNEW IT!! I FUCKING KNEW IT!!! I KNEW HE WAS EVIL I ABSOLUTELY CALLED THIS I KNEW HE WAS EVIL!!
Mhmm only "persona users" or "those with potential" can be active during the dark hour. So why are you able to walk around during the dark hour? 🤨
I absolutely knew from that fact alone there was something sus about this dude and yet I didn't really think about it. Okay, but fr he actually went full-on crazy!!
I won't lie the way his eyes looked during the cut scenes actually freaked me out a little bit 😭😭😭. And, like, just his general demeanour freaked me. I really couldn't believe it. How he was acting I mean.
Still, I should have KNOWN the fact he and Aigis being away for so long was weird. I wasn't surprised the dark hour was still a thing because no way the game was going to end there, lol.
Ngl I'm really going to miss seeing Pharos! I really liked him and the friendship he was forming with Makoto. Although part of me thinks he might just show up again.
From Shuji's rant and Pharos Social Link being "Death" there's definitely some connection. Especially with the Sacrifices Shuji had planned to rebirth the world.
But eh, I dunno. It's all so confusing, and there are definitely some things I don't know yet to fully talk about. Honestly thinking about the lore and story this deeply gives me a headache lol.
I've really grown to love all these characters a lot. More than I would have, honestly, but they're all great, and I love them!
Also gotta say Fuuka is hella relatable just for the bullying and the type of person she is. I'M BAD AT COOKING AS WELL GIRL
UNFORTUNATELY, I didn't take a scene of it, but Fuuka restored the video of Yukari's dad and then gave it to her. OOF, that scene was emotional, and learning that defeating the Shadows at full moons was the opposite of what they were supposed to do.
It definitely must have been a crushing blow to everyone's motivation for what they were fighting for but especially for Yukari. But still getting to see Yukari to see the full message from her dad and then accept his death and finally begin to move on from it was incredible.
I love Yukari so much she's such a great character 😭😭😭.
I would like to talk about the other characters as well at least for right now. But hmm I am struggling to find things to say about them. (AKA still hurting from a character death where I directly need to mention two other characters are length.
At least right now, anyway, I think I'll have to progress more in the story to give some thoughts about them.
However, I can touch on Mitsuru for a moment here. Although what happened to her didn't make me cry (compared to another character's death...)it mostly definitely got me close because of how damn sad it was.
Just seeing the state she's in right now is horrible. Just going from this calm, collected, level-headed leader to someone so quiet and distant is weird.
Of course, it's understandable, considering what has just happened to her. But still, it's so very odd to see the way she's acting. And I love that everyone else in the dorm is so worried about her.
I'm sure the picture that was taken that night, even if it didn't turn out how she or anyone else wanted, I'm sure she'll look back on it fondly.
Also, I really need to take more screenshots of things that happen. But I just get so absorbed in what's happening and shocked by story moments I forget! But I'll definitely be sure to try and take a lot more!

This might be an odd question, but as someone with both car autism and persona autism, what vehicles do you think the main cast drives? Can be whichever game you fancy
unfortunately i know NOTHING about cars, like absolutely nothing, but here's my limited perspective on the p3 cast at least
minato/makoto and kotone/hamuko: i could see either of them having a moped or motorcycle tbh.
junpei: one of those pick-up trucks that some men buy just to stroke their ego, except he actually got it because he genuinely likes helping his friends with stuff like moving, picking up new furniture, etc. and will only ask for a beer in exchange. (the truck also strokes his ego a little but mainly that first thing)
yukari: i think she owns just whatever used car she could get her hands on, but if she could pick anything (which she eventually can once her acting career really takes off), she would unironically have one of those brightly-colored sports cars. (it's so that she can spot it more easily in a big parking lot)
akihiko: if he got a car he would want it to be able to go anywhere, so he's got one of those offroad vehicles with the commercials showing them driving up sheer cliffs and shit. most of the time i think he prefers to just hoof it though.
mitsuru: obviously she has a motorcycle, and if she's taking a car instead, she's probably being driven in a limousine, not driving her own personal car. if she did have a personal car, she would brag about how it's the absolute safest car that's ever been on the road, as if this makes up for her erratic driving.
fuuka: a used car. an... extremely used car. is it even roadworthy? she claims so. apparently she bought it for basically nothing and then fixed it up herself. she insists it's safe but none of the other members of SEES except for the protags have ever mustered the courage to get inside.
aigis: one of those massive SUVs. she picked it for the tactical advantage in the case of a high-speed chase and she's confused why anyone would get any other car when it's the obvious choice.
shinjiro: a very sensible used minivan that looks like it's seen better days. the interior stinks a little but it's clean enough. he will deny to his dying day that he picked a minivan because he wanted to have enough space to drive people places and/or pick up ken from lacrosse practice. obviously it was just the cheapest one he could find.
#ask#Persona 3#P3#sorry if this response only further highlighted the fact that i have zero automobile knowledge#but i did warn you

I saw that you make content for the Personas and I HAD to follow!
Small question, but how do you think the Personas would address their masters? I've been thinking about that, and I think Io and Lucia would refer to their masters as "Lady Yukari/Fuuka", while Penthelesia would call Mitsuru "The Mistress". That's all I have so far, but it's fun to think about!
Thank you! Ironically i draw the personas more often than their users, unless your name is akechi and sumire 🤣 but monsters are sooo cool!!! I wish there was more persona content with the actual personas more!
I imagine every persona calls their user “the other me” or their arcana or “thou art I” for the jokes, but they probably just say their first name without honorifics. I imagine there are some exceptions, though i am wondering what the personas would address the OTHER party members?
Zorro absolutely calls Ann, “Lady Ann” , otherwise he probably just says everyone’s name without the honorifics. He calls Morgana a cat sometimes, much to Morgana’s dismay.
Io calls Junpei “Stupei” sometimes and Junpei is absolutely ready to fight her but unfortunately he and his persona is weak to wind…
Cerebus is the only persona who can’t talk, in human speech, he just barks like Koromaru. Aigis can understand him though, but there isn’t much Cerebus actually says, but he calls everyone’s name very nicely.
Loki and Robin Hood call Akechi by… Akechi, not his first name. This is because Akechi distanced himself so much from his first name, to even to introducing himself as just “Akechi” to people, which also lines up that the game only refers him as such. Its similar to Mishima, who never goes by his first name. Loki and Robin Hood haven’t said “Goro” in a long time… I also imagine they never call the persona 5 cast as anything but their code names (Ryuji is refered to as skull, etc)
Cendrillon used to exclusively call Sumire, “Kasumi” before 3rd semester. After that though, she always said Sumire, though she sometimes call Sumire soot-coated garbage, because somewhere inside Sumire’s heart, she still hates herself… Cendrillon sometimes calls Akechi “ruthless sorta person” which he is amused by. She also calls everyone senpai due to Sumire’s influence and everyone is a little weirded out by it because how can you be a senpai to a persona???
Jiraiya is the few who gives nicknames to everyone, but he calls Yu and Izanagi “Partner”, otherwise the others get the nicknames Yusuke gives
The protags personas, they call the protagonist “You” or “Me” most of the time, rarely by their name. They refer everyone else by how the game does in dialogue (not out loud though that would be embarrassing)
Kintoki-Douji never uses honorifics, and uses first names, like Teddie. The other personas kinda dig at him for not “being respectful” but he doesn’t understand why you can’t call people by their first name if you’re friends and besties
Castor refers Akihiko as Aki, and Polydeuces call Shijiro as Shinji. They both call Mitsuru as Mistu to not leave out Pentheselia lol. Mitsuru is alittle taken aback by it but appreciates it.
Apollo refers Katsuya as his brother sometimes, and vise versa with Helios/Hyperion to Tatsuya
Most of them otherwise call everyone the same way their user does, though i imagine they might give unhinged names (a title, a nickname, an insult, no honorifics, maybe something different altogether) as that is the nature of personas, but not many times, but you never know!

𝙰𝙳𝙾𝙽𝚈𝚈𝚂: an 𝙸𝙽𝙳𝙴𝙿𝙴𝙽𝙳𝙰𝙽𝚃, 𝙿𝚁𝙸𝚅𝙰𝚃𝙴 & 𝙼𝚄𝚃𝚄𝙰𝙻𝚂 𝙾𝙽𝙻𝚈 roleplay blog for a 𝙿𝙴𝚁𝚂𝙾𝙽𝙰 𝟹 𝙾𝙲 -- 𝙰𝙳𝙾𝙽𝚈𝚂; the Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon. Follows from @aragakiis . RULES CAN BE FOUND HERE FOR NOW. Written by Cat; She/They, 30, Canada. 18+ only.
An Anti-Shadow weapon built at the same time as AIGIS; thought to be destroyed during The Incident that happened 10 years ago. Adonys' mangled body was trapped in Tartarus--his mind awakening once more after a 10 year slumber as he attempted to destroy shadows within the labyrinth with a mangled body. Found and recovered by S.E.E.S, Adonys was repaired by the Kirijo group, joining S.E.E.S, aiding them with the help of his Persona, Icarus ( later Apollo ).
Follows @foolshoujo's lore, and this is Adonys' exclusive Minako.
Adonys does NOT replace Aigis or her story. His is very different. he does not have such a strong connection to the Protagonist like Aigis does. He does become more human as time goes on like she does, however.
Adonys resembles an 18 year old, and is placed in Gekkoukan as a senior during the events of Persona 3.
Adonys will address other weapons ( Aigis, Metis, Souseii, ect ) as his siblings.
Adonys' is of the SUN ARCANA. His primary persona is ICARUS, and later changed into APOLLO. A metaphor for reaching for the sun, overcoming and becoming what bears the light. This is a reference in regards to him being a machine, and later garnering human emotions and becoming more then just a machine.
Adonys is able to be romanced the same way Aigis is, and relies a very high emotional connection, as he cannot benefit a partner like a normal person, his relationships would be strictly emotional.
Adonys knew Yukari’s father, and made a promise to care for Yukari if anything happened to him. Unfortunately Adonys was ‘destroyed’ early into the incident until he awoken ten years in the future and found in Tartarus by S.E.E.S. He now tries to take care of Yukari in a similar way that Aigis does the protagonist. Adonys’ exclusive Yukari is @yukcri .
