the art tho i cannot talk about the art enough it is so fucking moving and surreal and just transcendent. this blend of childlike carefree whimsy with the darkness of this story, the mixed media, the bright saturated colors, inconsistent lines, larger than life characters, it all just jumps off the page. i love this story so much. read it IMMEDIATELY !!
