I've been saying that I wouldn't design any more characters because it's unnecessary but actually, the BarrenClan leaders in between Wheatstar and Mallowstar might be ones I do. I've always wanted to scribble out some designs from them but never found the time.

Observed X At Birth / OXAB flag, Observed and Undesignated At Birth / OUAB flag, Observed Intersex At Birth / OIAB flag

I can't find a lot of info on this acronym format or who coined it, but OXAB is a sibling term to OFAB and OMAB. Everything here comes from the information I could find on those terms as well as how similar terms function, so others may use the differently.

Much like Assigned X At Birth / AXAB, this term could be useful for other Intersex people who prefer "Observation" to "Assignment" due to it being more accurate to their situation, more comfortable language, or any other reason.

Observed (and) Undesignated At Birth ( OUAB ) and Observed Intersex at Birth ( OIAB ) are similar terms, anon did not request these and I'm not sure if these have been used anywhere else before but I figured I'd include them because they might be similarly useful.

They parallel Unassigned at Birth / UAB and Assigned Intersex At Birth / AIAB in definition. Some might use them interchangeably with OXAB or each other depending on their personal history / experiences.

The flag format follows the OFAB / OMAB flags here with similar meanings, but with the bottom two stripes taking colors from these AXAB, UAB, and AIAB flags.

Requested by anon but free for anyone to use anywhere! Just like similar terms, please be respectful and don't use them for those who aren't comfortable with this language. If you have the coiner information please let me know and I'll edit this post to be more accurate.

🛠 Is there a scene or anything in the WIP you are struggling with right now?

The current scene I'm writing of the above fic, I've written it about four times already and still don't think it's getting me quite where it needs to. I might have an idea, but I will admit I have been more focused on knitting and crochet than writing recently, there were Christmas crafts to do, but now those are done I might have a few more writing days. There's still a lot of knitting, crochet, and sewing ideas in my head though and I have a painting I want to do and there's just so much to do and I only have two hands and not nearly enough time to do it all, that's the main problem.

FORGOT ABOUT THIS IN MY DRAFTS. I was gonna post it on Maverick's birthday. Wellll anyway here we go: the circumstances of his manufacture were ahhhhhh very strange. There's a thing that happens with cloning machines sometimes where they will turn on and make some random living nonsense because base black wants to be attached to alive stuff sooooo bad. these are called Unsolicited Ejections (UEs). usually it's just like amorphous cell mess but sometimes, if you have a lovely little contaminated cloning machine, it could try and make full clones. This is very common with Maverick clones, most of them are UEs. Except for designer genetically modified ones like Elaine. Now. Elaine was "forbidden" from cloning herself for various reasons, one being her genmod, but when has Elaine everrr listened to anyone? So she gets a sample of her DNA secretly modified (by her wife actually) and goes and 'contaminates' the machine with it. To induce it into a UE. so OFFICIALLY Maverick wasn't cloned on purpose and there was no misconduct whatsoever. but when you look at him. He's clearly not Maverick Clone Standard which implies intent in cloning. But no one can do anything about it because he is a UE. good times.
