Just before the Winter in Shellharbour I collaborated with Bonnie @mermodelbonnie on an open water shoot to create some magic. I absolutely loved painting her features and facial expression. I struggled a lot with the eye on the right and I went back and forth on her nose but overall I’m in love with the details 😍 I’m still trying to perfect my techniques of painting realism. What can we say about this project? What a time! This was our first underwater photoshoot and it was a phenomenal experience. Working with Solita Photgraphy was incredible. She was so funny and kind and guided us through everything. Not only did she bring the story to life but she also left our pool as a friend. Please check out her work!

We kept in constant contact with Venessa from the very beginning of this project (When we were literally picking fabric for Baz’s tail). Thank you for all of your help and encouragement. We loved your story and were honored to re-create it in real time. Water really adds a level of romance to everything. We were floating yes but at times it really felt more like a waltz 💕
