Charcoal!Poppy's bio

Name: Charcoal, formerly Poppy Age: 16   Birthday: 10/19/XX    Pronouns: She/They Species:  Paper Human  Height: 5ft1

On a normal day in the Omega timeline, an odd stranger walked up to Poppy. It wasn't the first time this had happened. They were an Alphys, a new one to the Omega Timeline. But they seemed...off.

They looked sickly. And they moved...unnaturally.

Suddenly, she dropped dead right in front of Poppy. As her dust scattered in the wind, and her SOUL appeared, a chill ran through the air. A darkness seemed to be emanating from the SOUL.

As it broke apart, that feeling of darkness grew terrifyingly large. It became solid. Real. And from within the depths of Alphys' SOUL, an evil emerged. The Noir, an eldritch entity of unknown origins, and the ability to decay practically anything.

The Noir grabbed ahold of Poppy, and entered her SOUL through her right eye. Immediately, all the color drained from Poppy, and her body began to decay in places.

Poppy's family, her siblings and grandparent, rushed to her aid. But The Noir rapidly took control of her body, and forced her to leave the Omega Timeline. Her siblings gave chase, but The Noir threatened to kill Poppy if they didn't cease. They obliged, allowing The Noir and Poppy to escape.

She now lives as Charcoal!Poppy, traveling from Universe to Universe, forced to live on the run from a family she desperately wants to be with again.

Side notes:

- Poppy still only has 4 fingers in-universe, it is not a style thing. - Poppy can still naturally speak Slovak, ASL, and English, but The Noir can also translate any language for her if it's feeling generous. - She has honed her fighting skills. She can stand her ground in a conflict. Though The Noir does most of the heavy lifting, as it is far, far more powerful than her. - She misses Cadence, Dusted and Rust always. - The Noir can take control of her body, though Charcoal can typically hold it back. However, the more tired she is, the more easily The Noir can override this. - Because of this, she has trouble sleeping, as The Noir will be able to fully control her while she's unconscious. As such, she'll only sleep easily if she knows she's in a secure location.

FACTS:

Sans wears slightly different clothes because Papyrus implemented new dress-code on him. This outfit makes him sweat even more than his UF counterpart;

Has like 2 more outfits he puts on in different situations;

His personality remains the same but he's now more responsible;

Zips up his jacket because Papyrus likes to throw lots of snowballs at him when Sans drives him mad (pretty often);

More tired and even can fall asleep during important events or his watching hours, but, at the same time, more enduring than in ordinary Underfell because of hard work Papyrus gives to him;

Always has something up his sleeve to make a funny knock-knock joke, prank or smth like that. Papyrus doesn't like it but there's nothing he can do;

Even tho he doesn't like Papyrus' new rules, he knows the exact reason why his brother implements these, but he still barely complies.

Finally, another page of Monochromasis!

Sorry this took so long. I kinda took May off lol.

I'll be honest, too. I am starting to feel the burn from this comic.

But it's not enough to stop! I promised I would see this whole thing through, and I will. Even if it kills me! Though preferably not lol.

Just... I'll just say I can no longer promise they'll be every week. At least for a while.

Anyway, this page was pretty fun.

I tried really applying myself with this one. Kinda reworked my whole approach.

Basically, I felt that the visuals were lacking in the comic so far. So I really wanted to make this page look good, and less copy+pastey. I think I did an alright job.

I also slightly redesigned how I draw Frisk. Though honestly I'm not completely satisfied with this either. Might rework it again later.

Speaking of later.
