Now that Underverse 0.8 Part 1 is finally out, it’s time for me to step back and take a break from the series. It’s a bittersweet decision... seeing the amazing reaction to this episode makes me want to dive right into animating the next parts. But I know if I do, I’ll fall back into the same cycle of emotional burnout I’ve faced over the years. To break that draining routine, I need to stop for a moment. Underverse will be on HIATUS FOR 1 YEAR AND A HALF.

HOWEVER! I’m not disappearing entirely! I’ll still be working on the XTALE 21 YEARS comic, hosting Ask the Xtale Gang events, and occasionally creating short animated content. This break will also give me a chance to focus on my original project, METADORA.

I’d be lying if I say I'm a little worried about people forgetting the series during the hiatus. But I need this break, and I can’t thank you all enough for your continued support and encouragement. Even during tough times, knowing that this project was born from a mix of improvisation and silliness, has brought joy and inspiration to so many people reminds me of my purpose in this world. And I want to keep doing that until the end.

I hope to return with renewed passion and strength to finish this journey that has taught me so much not only as an artist, but as a person as well.

This one was a LOT of fun. I really tried to inject some life and energy into this one.

I'm trying to break my habit of putting characters in static, default standing poses. It's gotten more than a bit boring, and it's super repetitive. So I'm really trying to spice things up from here on.

I think I did alright here! I think my one regret is not going far enough with the posing of the right leg. Should've gone even further with it.

But ah well. Still like it! What do y'all think? Lemme know, and stay tuned for more!

2025 Judge Application Form

Last year, I employed an application form in order to select judges to assist me in the comic rating process. While the judges chosen this year have served me quite well, they have expressed they would rather be entrants than judges in next year's contest, and there's a new character design contest sideshow that will need its own set of judges besides.

(Oh yeah, I guess I haven't announced that yet here, huh? Well, full details pending, but hopefully it'll be a decent alternative to people who wish to participate but can't dedicate the amount of time making a sprite comic requires.)

Anyway, to that end, I'm taking this judge application form even more public this year, hoping to cast as wide a net as possible so we can get the judges we need for next year's contests. Please spread this around to anyone you think might be interested!

ChristmAUs Update 2:

ChristmAUs continues to move smoothly. A minor lag in submissions but otherwise everything is running and operational! I have also decided to extend the Deadline: From December 8th to December 13th! What we really need are more decorations and presents for the tree, so lets get those as well as more characters! Remember you can submit all of them here!

Stinky - Commission

You see, this boi right here is an OC Cojo came up with on call once.

And I fell in love with him so fast, I immediately doodled him and also made him canon to Undertale: Monochromasis.

Recently, he commissioned me to draw him for realsies, and this is the end result.

Quite happy with it!

He's a fun character to draw. Can't wait to draw him more!

Not sure if I mentioned it here, but Poppy was recently added to Checho's Deltarune RP Roblox game. I went in (after waiting for about a month, haha) and just so happened to stumble onto another Poppy player.

They were really good so it was a hell of a lot of fun. I did a few drawings based off that.
