Nene & Rui have such an interesting dynamic because they’re so important to each other but by themselves they kind of enable each other to stay where they’re comfortable instead of actually growing and moving past emotional hangups… main story rui getting nene to join wxs sounds like a counter argument on paper but he literally built her a robot to hide behind so she could continue to avoid the stage & he lacks the skill set to help her overcome her anxieties. Nene understands why rui has so many issues wrt friendships more than anyone else but she’s completely out of her depth with how to help (Halloween event, curtain call). I don’t like the whole “x character is more important to character y than the other two” thing wrt wxs because the whole thing with them is that they’re all really good friends (who have different but no less meaningful bonds between themselves) but I *do* think that it’s true that tsukasa was the character that helped rui change the most just as emu was the character that helped nene change the most. Wrt ruikasa there’s the entire Halloween event/conversation on the train at the end of curtain call/pandemonium (where rui literally confirms this) & wrt emunene there’s SOAD/our happy ending where nene was actually driven to push emu to rely on her instead of backing off. And also the million instances of emu dragging nene off to hang out together/showering her in compliments every chance she gets/gaming event where emu got nene to do something she wouldn’t normally do.

there's a lot more still to be said on the rollout process for the album but i think it is going very much un- or undermentioned that fans and fan spaces were deliberately picked to be the vehicle for the promo of the song. discord was the launching pad of the whole thing via the two dropped files, then the rest was stewarded by a fan. questionable as i still find the discord decision, the entire thing being centered around fandom and fan discussion and speculation and interaction is actually in hindsight a really cool idea when taken in context with the track it was leading up to!

ml loves to set up something and just do nothing with it. the most undermentioned yet most egregious instance of this being sabrina’s thing with chloe.

it tetters from healthy companionship to weird subsidiary shenanigans and then overcorrects to a rare but strange over dependence on eachother. its like sometimes i want them to just date and be over with it, and otherwise im so disturbed that i start to root for sabrina liberating herself from a rather toxic sapphic situationship.

atp i just want a clear definition of the nature of their relationship. because even when the writing was more concise and consistent, chloe and sabrina are always,,,, like that?? i could maybe understand the toxic yuri pov but its all so strange 😭

Your passion for Hypno Callie (coming from another autistic person) is doing a great thing for the splatoon community. Reading your posts abt the definitions of brainwashing/hypnosis helps illustrate the hidden (and undermentioned) point of Callie struggling with her mental health and turning to the Octarian world as a coping technique (via the shades, which Callie really likes). I also have a better understanding of the relationship chart now after reading your posts. I’ve seen the chart prior but didn’t understand it that much and at first thought Octavio straight up kidnapped Callie and brainwashed her as the dialogue for the final boss fight used words like brainwashed and not hypnosis/hypnotized. Is there anything I got wrong? If so, let me know.

Although, sometimes I feel like what I'm doing isn't great. I feel like a fool or a child with my words. Like I'm trying not to accept what "truly happened in canon" because i became too attached to some squid woman. Everything Nintendo says, every source and every YouTube video goes against me and like... Sometimes i feel like I'm wrong... and I'm foolish... and a loserrrrr....

One time, a friend of mine shared a cool Splatoon video essay and i tried to watch it, but i said that i get hyper focused on word choices and they got pissed at me because i mentioned Callie and the whole "brainwashing" thing. Cause the video talked about that briefly. And they said that i cannot get mad at others because it's just my headcanon.

a friend just offloaded some clothes to me that either weren't her style or didn't fit her anymore and honestly i think "offering your transfem friend the first pick of clothes before you give them to charity shops or throw them away" is a suuuuper undermentioned way of just Helping Your Transfem Friend Have A Nicer Time.

like--trying on clothes in stores can be Stressful for trans women! Especially if they're easy for strangers to identify as trans! And yeah it was just three skirts, but that's three skirts that i got without having to keep an eye over my shoulder while browsing the skirts in my pretty-conservative small town clothing store so i don't get ambushed by someone with an axe to grind or whatever

I get to talk with her about how nice they looked, and they feel durable don't they and change in a bathroom where i'm not worried about someone banging on the door

anyway. psa or something. if you have in-person trans friends and you're getting rid of clothes and she's even close to your size ask her what size she wears and if she wants to try your cast-offs. she'll probably love your hand-me downs.

Sort of tangentially related— I had a number of dresses in my closet that I hadn’t been able to wear since before I had kids on account of my ass having grown but that I also couldn’t bear to part with. The only way I could see letting them go was if they went to someone I loved, so I brought them to [name of brilliant and beautiful transgender woman redacted] fairly certain they would fit her. Well, although she is very slender I think I somewhat underestimated her curves because when she went to try them on she couldn’t get them over her ass either 😳

Very Specific Random Batfamily Headcanons

A/n: Hii!! These were completely random thoughts and headcanons I have and have compiled into one post. They are purely self-indulgent!!

Jason still sleeps with stuffed animals. More specifically, he sleeps with the beluga whale plushie Bruce got him when Bruce took him to the Gotham Aquarium for the first time. Nobody knows except for Alfred and Bruce himself.

Damian likes to give full names to his pets. Bruce got him a blue Betta fish whom Damian named "Richard James Davenport" for no reason except his own amusement. When Dick asked if he had named the Betta fish after him (which is most certainly true) Damian denied it saying that Richard is a common English name.

Tim is half-Japanese and speaks the language fluently, but people don't notice until they really pay attention to him. Every once in a while you can hear him cursing in Japanese.

On a similar note, he absolutely loves tamago kake gohan but his siblings think he is a little weird for it. (a/n: Tamago Kake Gohan is delicious. I LOVE it but it's not for everyone...)

The one person who can calm Jason down after horrible nightmares is Dick. Bruce and Alfred can to an extent but it takes a while and never fully works. One hug and an "It's ok, little bird. I'm here. No one can hurt you." from his big brother and he is almost instantly calm. They never talk about it afterwards but they really do love each other.

Damian, despite putting on a "cool and collected" facade, is incredibly possessive and clingy. If given the chance (and he gives up the facade for a little bit) he will continue to hug the person for an indefinite amount of time. Commenting on it will, however, result in an automatic detachment.

Tim has watched all Sherlock Holmes adaptations including Moriarty the Patriot. He has also roped Bernard into seeing it and now Bernie insists that they cosplay Sherliam at some point.

Barbara has dirt on everyone and is patiently waiting to use it against them.

Stephanie, despite being a slight disaster in the kitchen, learned how to make cookies with Alfred and is now the best cookie maker after the butler himself. She has used the cookies as a bribe in order to make other members of the batfam do something for her.

(this is basically canon) Dick has unaddressed and undermentioned anger issues that pop up every once in a while stunning everyone.

(in the Young Justice (the cartoon) universe) The batfamily has adopted the use of the un-words for example, "Whelmed", "Traught", "Aster" & etc.

The Batgirls (Barbara, Steph and Cass) have at least two Girls' Night per month. Whether they stay in or go out is depends on their mood.
