It seemed distant, the way the breeze blew, the way the wind warred, the way the gales gabbled, and the way the blasts battled. It seemed almost too distant as the night air only brushed upon Astrid’s skin, touched gently like that of a mother’s hand. It felt odd to miss the way the air used to slice at her skin, the way the clouds were sights she took for granted, and the way she almost, almost wanted to be caught in Toothless’ talons just one more time.

That risk, that adventure, that was for their younger selves. That dragons that bled so much into their lives were now healing on their own.

Astrid shifted her position in Hiccup’s arms. She felt him place his lips on the top of her head and grace her ragged, unruly blonde hair with the sweetest and softest kiss before his head leaned on hers.

“It’s quiet,” she finally said.

“Too quiet?” Hiccup asked. Astrid didn’t respond and didn’t need to. She knew they understood each other.

“Isn’t it weird?” She asked. “That we miss the risk of it all, that we have a perfect home here and we’re…bored?”

“I could push you off the island,” Hiccup suggested. “Dust off the old gliders, try and catch you before you hit the sharp rocks off the edge of Gobber’s cliff.”

“You know what I mean,” Astrid said.

“Yeah, I…I know,” Hiccup said. “I keep sleeping in because Toothless isn’t here to wake me up at the crack of dawn. It sounds better but…”

Hiccup didn’t finish.

“Well it’s an adjustment, is all,” he said. “We’re not young and adventurous anymore.”

Astrid pushed herself out of Hiccup’s hold.

“Ugh,” she scoffed. “Speak for yourself.” She stood up off the bench and pointed a thumb at her chest. “I’m plenty young, and we can have adventures without our dragons.”

“Alright,” Hiccup said, standing up, gesturing towards the forest. “Let’s have an adventure.”

“Now?” Astrid said. Hiccup took her hand. “It’s cold.”

Hiccup gave her a looked of bemused unasument, believable disbelief, and unconcerned concern all in one.

“You’re cold,” Hiccup said. “Miss ‘fly the Northern mountains in a tank top’ is cold? Domestic living has spoiled you hasn’t it?”

“Maybe,” Astrid said with a slight blush. “You keep me warm.”

Hiccup’s eyes sank in love.

He pecked the spread of red across the bridge of her nose and, by now, their faces were inches apart.

“My lips are cold too.”

Hiccup smiled and leaned in for the kiss, and he just before he neared her lips he blew air straight onto them and ran of with a boyish smile, just at the right speed so that Astrid would give chase and quickly, and it was never quickly enough even though it was within seconds, tackle him to the ground.

Foi em 1672 que um suiço chamado Ballexserd mencionou pela primeira vez o termo no título de seu livro: Tratado de Puericultura, que falava sobre higiene da criança. MAs foi Caron, em 1865 que deu força à expressão, em seu manual intitulado "A puericultura ou a ciência de elevar higienicamente e fisiologicamente as crianças", adotando medidas preventivas antes que ficassem doentes e necessitassem de internação. É basicamente o exercício de prevenir, para não remediar! O papel da Sua Pediatra na puericultura é basicamente educativo. Ensinamos estratégias e manejos adequados para cada família, contornando obstáculos e intervindo no primeiro sinal de alerta. Por isso, cada vez mais, pediatras estão compartilhando seu conhecimento nas redes sociais, abrindo cursos, acolhendo famílias... é esse o nosso serviço, que vai muito além da prescrição de medicamentos e solução rápida de problemas. Seremos supervisoras do crescimento e desenvolvimento, além de orientadoras na prevenção de acidentes e outras afecções, promovendo educação sobre o que nos protege: amamentação, vacinação, higiene adequada e criação com apego.
