Advantages Of Herbal Medicines
There are two ways to use herbal medicines “scientifically.” One is to use them as a natural pharmacy. Every plant contains myriad chemicals that work in myriad ways in the body. Because these plants have been around for a very, very long time, we know how all of those tiny effects add up to a single benefit that maybe we can’t get from another medicine. Another way is to use them as a source of single chemicals that have known effects, and to standardize the herbal medicine to deliver a known amount of that chemical. That’s the idea with the way we standardize St. John’s wort (you need enough St. John’s wort to get 900 mg of hypericin a day for the herb to affect depression) and green tea catechins (you need a certain dose of these green tea chemicals to have an effect on weight loss), for example. Generally, herbal medicines are simply medicines that happen to be natural and gentle, when used with knowledge of how they work. You can use herbal medicines as medicines that happen to herbal. In folk medicine the uses of herbs tend to be expressed in magical terms, in traditional Chinese medicine the uses of herbs tend to be expressed in what I’d call symbolic terms (ditto Japanese, Korean, Ayurveda, Unani, and so on), and those aren’t necessarily bad systems. They just aren’t “scientific.” Best Herbal Ayurvedic Doctor In Yamunanagar

Unani System of Medicine has revealed new innovative developments within sight; these include, as outlined in this brief review, new drugs targeted on specific kidney genes to prevent the progression of renal disease especially in diabetes associated nephritic syndrome.#What_is_Chronic_Renal_Failure?Chronic kidney disease is the slow loss of kidney function over time. The main function of the kidneys is to remove wastes and excess water from the body. Chronic kidney disease (CKD) slowly gets worse over time. In the early stages, there may be no symptoms. The loss of function usually takes months or years to occur. It may be so slow that symptoms do not occur until kidney function is less than one- tenth of normal.#Patients_who_are_prone_to_above- #mentioned_kidney_problems?#Diabetes and high blood pressure are the two most common causes and account for most cases. Many other diseases and conditions can damage the kidneys, including:#Problems with the arteries leading to or inside the kidneys.#Birth defects of the kidneys (such as polycystic kidney disease)#Some pain medications and other drugs#Certain toxic chemicals#Autoimmune disorders (such as systemic lupus erythematosus and scleroderma)#njury or trauma#Glomerulonephritis#Kidney stones and infection#Reflux nephropathy (in which the kidneys are damaged by the backward flow of urine into the kidneys)#What_are_the_symptoms_and_problems_associated_with_abovem_entioned_disease?The early symptoms of chronic kidney disease often occur with other illnesses, as well. 6 ways of using turmeric powder
Use of turmeric powder
Turmeric has been in use since the Vedic times in India, which dates back to roughly 4,000 years back. It was used as a cooking spice and also had a lot of religious significance. It is likely that turmeric reached China by 700 AD, East Africa by 800 AD, West Africa by 1200 AD, and Jamaica in the 18th century. The great traveller Marco Polo described this spice as one similar to saffron.
Why is turmeric called the golden spice?
In the Sanskrit texts on medicinal Ayurveda and Unani systems, turmeric has a long history of medicinal use in South Asia. In Sushruta's Ayurveda collection of uses, dating back to 250 BCE, there are many recommended ointments containing turmeric to relieve the effects of food poisoning.
Turmeric is a golden-coloured, strongly flavoured spice. Being an ancient spice, it has been celebrated for centuries as both food and medicine. Recently, it has found its way within the health and nutrition communities due to curcumin, the healing substance that supplies its vibrant yellow colour.
Due to its natural golden yellow colour, turmeric has also been used for centuries to dye fabrics and yarn. The saffron-coloured robes of saints and Buddhist monks were dyed with turmeric. In Kerala, children were given turmeric-coloured clothes to wear during the Onam festival. This is the unique golden colour that signifies the sacred presence of turmeric or Haldi.
Role of curcumin present in turmeric
As mentioned earlier, turmeric is loaded with curcumin. The following are some of its significant properties:
· Curcumin has anti-inflammatory properties that are said to rival those found in ibuprofen. Unlike over-the-counter medicines, turmeric does not have any toxic effects on the body.
· The powerful antioxidant benefits of curcumin have been shown to protect against cancer-causing agents found in healthy cells, especially the colon. It helps the body destroy mutated cancer cells before they spread to other areas.
· Turmeric can also help reduce cholesterol and prevent heart disease.
Why is turmeric the preferred spice?
Turmeric, a bright-yellow perennial plant native to South India has won its due respect with its health benefits. Recently, it has been lauded for its ability to prevent anything from the common cold to cancer. It is mainly harvested for its rhizomes or roots.
You can find turmeric in the spice section at your local grocery store or online. The best way to reap the long-term benefits of this miraculous herb is to consume it daily in food, beverages, and other ways.
 6 ways to use turmeric
Turmeric is known as the queen of spices and is best known for its nutritional supplements. Its properties have a wide range; it has a number of dietary fibre, protein, calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, and zinc, along with vitamins C, E, and K. Turmeric is gaining popularity in more ways than one. You can use it in several ways, such as:
As a weight loss drink
All you do is boil a glass of water. Add half a teaspoon of turmeric and half a teaspoon of ginger juice to it. Drink it every morning on an empty stomach. This is an easy way to lose weight.
Turmeric milk for colds
Boil 2 cups of milk or unsweetened almond milk with 1 teaspoon of ground turmeric. Switch off the heat, let it cool for a few minutes, and add 1 tablespoon of sugar or honey. For good sleep, add half a teaspoon of nutmeg, cinnamon, and cardamom to the mixture.
A smoothie made of turmeric
Fresh turmeric root is an ideal ingredient in juices and smoothies. A pinch of turmeric powder is equally good. The slightly pungent flavour is usually subdued in smoothies.
For acne treatment
Mix an equal quantity of turmeric powder and honey. Apply this paste to your acne and leave it till it dries. Wash it off with water and gently dry your face. Turmeric is good for skincare and can be used to treat acne.
Face masks
Mix 1/3 tbsp. turmeric and 1/2 tbsp. honey into 1 tbsp. of curd. Leave it till it dries. Wash it off with water. Turmeric can be used to prepare face masks for smooth and glowing skin.
As a facial scrub
Make a paste of coarsely powdered orange peel, a little milk, a teaspoon of lemon juice, a pinch of turmeric and a few drops of honey. Apply it to your face, neck, and hands and scrub gently in circular motions for 15 minutes. Get rid of dead skin cells, blackheads, and tan lines, and get a brighter complexion in just 15 days.
  How to store turmeric powder
Like all other spices, turmeric will begin to lose its potency after about six months, and even sooner if exposed to light or heat.
When you store your fresh, fragrant golden turmeric powder properly, it will stay like this for a long time. You simply have to follow some steps, like:
· Store ground turmeric in a closed container in a cool, dark place.
· You can store fresh turmeric in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Reasons for buying turmeric powder online
Turmeric powder is a spice that is ground from the dried turmeric herb, specifically the root or rhizome, and is sold in powder form. Having about 2.5 to 5 grams with meals is known to provide some digestive and health benefits.
Know that turmeric of Indian origin is known as the world's best turmeric due to its high curcumin content. Buy turmeric powder online as it comes fresh and securely packed, and is delivered right to your doorstep. The hues of our turmeric range from bright yellow to deep orange, depending on the variety. When buying from us, you receive premium quality product.
