Shoutout to nonbinary people who are unaligned with either binary gender and get shoved into the categories of being either male or female aligned against their will or shunned from queer spaces for being unaligned. You deserve to be seen for who you are. Binary gendered people reading this, stop doing that.

gonna be honest I see anyone talking about this "my gender is more complicated than yours" shit as someone who genuinely cannot comprehend that other people that don't share certain traits with them can still in fact have rich interior lives. as an agender trans woman who uses she/her I've never had anyone say it to me who wasn't (usually unknowingly) transmisogynistic
see but im not talking about "rich interior lives" and the assumption that i am is exactly what im talking about. i am talking about the actual physical way that reality treats and percieves me in comparison to the way it treats and percieves you. saying my gender is "more complex" means to me that i am physically incapable of existing in a strictly binary world and that there is no thing i can pass as bc "binary man" and "binary woman" are both incorrect for me. and the Cisiety in question does not allow androgyny to exist - it is exclusively the timeframe people have to decide whether they think you are a cisman or a ciswoman, or a failure and a freak. i dont subscribe to that "binary privilege" shit, thats not how privilege works. but there are differences in the ways both you and i can navigate this strictly binary Cisiety!!! and those differences deserve to be named, imo
like. again. i dont have to comfort you about your own internal sense of gender before youll listen to me about my experiences in the real world as genderqueer. as a different sort of transsexual than you.
(and bc i Know what binary ppl love to say: i know not everyone is 'capable of passing'. what i am talking about specifically is the difference between being unable to pass as a cis woman or a cis man vs being unable to pass bc what i am does not exist AT ALL in a binary society, and both of those things are incorrect ans unattainable.)
(anyways if that language is too imperfect for you thats like fine but. its just confusing to me, i dont get why its hard to understand what we are talking about here. our experiences w our nonbinary genders are completely different! why do i have to discuss them like theyre the same?)
#do you consider yourself transfem first or agender first on an internal level?#do you feel like you are predominantly treated as a trans woman in your day to day? does that hurt the part of you that is agender?#< not trying to grill u or anything im genuinely curious#ive had similar convos w my transmasc and transfem nonbinary friends as well as like. my gnc binary trans friends#i am just curious bc. like i said 'binary' isnt a bad thing to be and frankly since u identify urself as agender ur not really the target a#dience here anyways?#the idea that theres no such thing as a binary trans person just#fundamentally misunderstands the extremely broad swathe of nonbinary experiences and treatments#my passing transmasc enby friends dont particularly feel touched by transphobia unless theyre clocked or unless our areas laws changed#but some DO feel like they r effected by exorsexism on a day to day by being assumed to be binary men and having the other parts of their i#entities erased#while others are completely comfortable being percieved as strictly men and moving through life strictly as men#which is sounds like. i would guess youd have a similar position since u exclusively use she/her?#like.. it sounds to me like your 'rich interior life' doesnt really have an outward effect on the way people percieve and treat you and the#way you react to it which is very different from my experience#binary doesnt mean your gender is 'simple' it just means that you are comfortable within a binary system even of you dont personally identi#y with it. and maybe this is a case of 'political identity vs personal identity'??#and all of this is FINE its just. literally every time i talk about my own unique positioning my transandrogyny or whatever gives me#people crawl out of the woodwork to tell me my experiences are not actually unique#do u see what my issue is? my own trans experiences are erased bc other people 'disagree' with . what. my perspective as an 'unaligned' enb#? when its like. literally none of us are gonna have the same needs or experiences as trans people#and if 'binary' works to show that you are fine and comfortable being percieved exclusively as a woman#and 'nonbinary' works to show i am not#i dont really see what the issue w using the word 'binary' is#like i said. its not a slur. its not a bad thing to be.#and tbh i think this insistence that 'unaligned' nonbinary ppls perspectives arent actually unique to binary or 'aligned' nonbinary ppls is#directly contributing to like. lateral bigotry coming from said 'unaligned' enbies. like if u put urself in my shoes for a second and u gre#up being constantly told you were either a cis invader who didnt actually have any trans experiences and that only people who want to 'full#transition' were REAL transsexuals then. youd be kinda jaded too right? and im sure you ARE kinda jaded lol.#anyways. sorry for rambling at you i dont have any more tags left lol

I just thought of something...
"still use" because I heard of these in the mid/late 2010s but haven't encountered them in many years....
Trixic and toric are alternatives for describing attraction (to women and men, respectively) to sapphic, achillean, gay, straight, etc for non-binary people who don't feel aligned with either masculinity/manhood or femininity/womanhood, ex agender people or people who identify simply as nonbinary. (This is a rough definition; go ahead and clarify if you're more familiar than me!)
When tagging this post, nblm and nblw came up, and I wonder if that's what overtook these...
edit: I was thinking so hard about gender that I forgot that there are unaligned nonbinary people who are aroace or pan/bi lol. if that's you vote "I am not an unaligned nonbinary person", sorry for the misgendering lol, mentally change that option to "these terms not relevant to me but I know them". and also for the second to last option mentally change to "and they could apply to me, an enby who experiences attraction describable by them"

Faunians can experience masculine genders, unaligned genders, neutral genders, genderlessness, etc. but never any feminine or female genders. Tumblr media

trigun stampede i just finished it and have so many thoughts but i can't possibly process them all so here's a more easily sharable sexuality hc list:
(oh and minor spoiler warning too)
Vash is like ace. he doesn't necessarily crave sex from any humans but could definitely be coaxed into it and fully enjoy it. if his physiology allows for that, i guess. Can probably experience romantic attraction too, but in a demiromantic way. Just demi overall
Nai: also ace but would NOT want to carnally enjoy a human. he'd hate it. has no romantic love for any human. for a plant maybe.
Meryl: idk i'm very gay and don't think about women's sexuality much, but probably bi. she could be straight but idk she has a special something I think. has been following around vash for long enough that she has a strong attachment to him. but is it love? probably. romantic love though? hmmmmm she'll have to figure that one out herself. i would like it more if it wasn't, or if she wasn't the only one... but we'll have to wait and see. she's close to Rem in Vash's mind... so no telling about that one.
Roberto: Old man, definitely straight, has definitely seen it all, has definitely made out with a man. didn't do much for him but them again what has? shared a cigarette with a man once though and it changed something about him permanently. so make what you will
Nicholas: ohhhh bitch. now this is the guy that inspired the list. he's still so young but so tired, he's seen so much. he loved that boy. catholicism has its ways though. not only does he bear that cross for the people he's hurt but for the people he's loved too. all are sins in the eyes of the cross in that way. only ever loved one man but that was enough. seeing straight into Vash's soul though... his vulnerability... his scars he's taken for loving... well let's just say this undertaker had something stir. definitely not love though. no he could never love again. monsters like him can't have love. so he definitely can't love Vash, and he didn't love Livio. or so he keeps telling himself. making that cross a little heavier. not all burdens are beared consciously.
Livio: ah yes, the little boy who fell in love with Nico so hard that he followed him to hell, to be an undertaker. a love so deep it's gonna tear them both apart. definitely gay.
Bluesummers: ah now we're on to the fun ones. these guys don't have the narrative weight to be wrapped in heavy metaphor that I don't wanna disrupt yet, so I'm a little more free with their speculation. this guy seems like he serves Knives like a god, but with that level of devotion who can tell the different kinds of love apart???? me, i can this bitch is flaming literally like f slur.
Zazie: not human, literally a hivemind, so I dont think sexuality really fits them at all. like literally i dont think they even have sex to reproduce?? so sexuality is a no lol. um that said they're also nonbinary cause they literally do not have human sex characteristics let alone human genders. unaligned evil enby you love to see it.
Rem: for catholic metaphor reasons i think she would have to be straight but she's a lesbian its why she didnt marry or have children of her own no i will not be taking questions at this time.
William Conrad: despite having two names that should make me personally feel insane he is instead a beleaguered straight man. he is a Priest, after all.
Ludia and Brad: again, straight probably for catholic narrative reasons, like Wolfwood's sexuality wouldn't be as big a burden if everyone was just gay. that said they are dyke 4 fag pair bonded permanently no i will not be taking questions at this time. actually since they live on the ship outside of the reach of the church maybe they could be gay and have it work narratively... hmmmmm.... homos
Gosef: gay asf you seen his little bowtie??
Prof. Nebraska: transgender mad scientist just loves his son.
Chuck Lee (goon from ep 1 had to google his name): straight subscribes to a space egirl's space twitch channel and buys her used space socks in a cringe fail incel way but he's supporting space swers so we kinda stan in a cringe fail way.

gotta say it makes me feel some kind of way (derogatory) when i see "women and non-binary" lumped together as a group. cuz like,, non-binary is a large demographic. which includes masc folks. and people who are completely unaligned with fem-identity. as one such person, am i supposed to feel a solidarity of experience with women simply becuz we are Not Men? or in this case, not cis and binary trans men, if masc-enbies are allowed?
i understand the intent behind focusing on female-led perspectives, but tacking on "and non-binary" always feels like "oh yea there are people who aren't women that also aren't men guess we should acknowledge that." but it doesn't actually suggest an understanding of what non-binary can encompass.
i think it would better to specify "women and fem-enbies" if a female or female-adjacent perspective is the goal. but this would still necessitate the understanding some fem-folks are ALSO masc. you really can't draw definitive lines between male and female in a meaningful way when attempting to categorize non-binary-ness as a whole
these thoughts were inspired by encountering this book in particular (although i know there are others like it and this phenomena is not limited to collected narratives)
Tumblr media
it literally says wayward SISTERS: an anthology of monstrous WOMEN. and yet "women and non-binary" is specified in the synopsis
Tumblr media Tumblr media
what does this imply? that the only non-binary perspectives included are fem-identities? that this includes any non-binary perspective save those who are masc-aligned? that most enbies are afab and our genitalia is the connecting factor? inclusion is the goal here and yet i find it to have fallen short
maybe this anthology is a marvelous collection of stories. i don't know. i haven't read it. my issue is not with the content of the book, but the way it's presented. because i have seen groupings of "women in non-binary" in other contexts, and it bothers me every time

OC info:
Name: Jamie May Shaw
Clan: 13th gen Gangrel (Fledgling)
Age: 28 (appears younger to mid 20’s)
Gender: trans masc (he/him)
Orientation: Gay (mlm)
Sect: Loyal only to those loyal to me (Unaligned)

More info below!
Jamie as a person will give the cold shoulder to anyone who isn’t interested in hiring him for a job. Whatever that “job” may be usually involves stealing, hitman/grunt work, blood running/smuggling (never living blood dolls only blood bags and the like), or even just sending a “friendly” message for someone.
When he isn’t doing freelance work he’s usually on the run from something or someone with his adoptive Mawla figure Keaton (Ravnos) and his newfound friend from Toledo Magpie (Nosferatu). These three and some other unknown Kindred make up a freelance criminal network known as “The Corvidaes”. Perhaps you may have heard the tale of Corvids who preform daring deeds for the right prices. Such as a Jackdaw who was “quite aggressive and bothersome to the local Tremere”, “The Magpie that stole a valuable shiny”, “A Raven swooped by as soon as it vanished” or other such tales. These are the verbal calling cards of the gang.
Underneath all that cold hard skin, Jamie’s true personality shines to those he feels he can let his guard down with. His cynicism becomes witty banter with a friend, his threats become a loving jab, and his defense stance melts away to become warm.
What do they run from? Now that’s at least three pages long of enemies-but lets keep it focused on Jackdaw. Jamie is on the run from his previous Sabbat Pack (who he unfortunately encountered in New Orleans), assassins, and whoever else wants him or his Mawla dead. He’d bet $5 your sire either wants or knows someone who wants his gang dead.
Extras: His animal form is that of a grey wolf with German Shepard like colors mixed in. His preferred feral weapons are wolfs claws and he’s got K9 fangs. Before he died he served in the US Army as a combat medic. He was then Embraced by his Sabbat Sire to be a tool, only for the aforementioned Ravnos to literally steal him away from the Pack and rehabilitate his puppy ass. He looks like this (the one in the green jacket. The left Nossie is Magpie my friend!) https://twitter.com/StellarxKid/status/1657947361644253185?s=20

About me: Hi! I’m TeaLeaf! 22 enby lesbian writer and larper at your service! I am also autistic so excuse my poor understanding of social cues heh heh… Been in tumblr rp scenes since MIDDLE SCHOOL LMAO so I am very rusty. You’ll have to forgive grandparent here on vampblr. My character may be cold and shadow the edgehog but I am always open to asks and messages!! Can’t guarantee I will be super active but I will try my hardest! Thank you for reading!
Things I will and will NOT write:
NSFW will not be going on this blog. Sorry just not very comfy with that but I don't mind horny conversations or whatever. If I find the conversation uncomfy I may ghost it or just tell you.
I will not write any thing fetishy I dislike sorry
I am a very busy person so this blog will not always be active. If I don’t respond right away please don’t take it as a sign I don’t want to talk to you! I unfortunately touch a lot of grass.
Jamie and I have a PTSD diagnosis in common, so there may be mentions of that here. I take mental health very seriously so I ask that if you bring it up to please consult with me first on your limits.
Jamie is a Gangrel with a tendency for violence and is a DoX (Descendant of Xavier), meaning he can occasionally transform into a hybrid manbat thing. I will not write senseless levels of gore but blood and violence are guaranteed to come up.
If you need something tagged, tell me! I won't know unless you reach out!

I've always known I like girls.
My first fictional crushes were girls, and my first real life crushes were girls.
I was outed when I was 11 because someone in my small, conservative, religious town saw me kissing my first girlfriend and I decided to own it because going back in the closet wouldn't do anything since everyone already knew.
So I came out as bisexual.
I only ever kissed, cuddled and held hands with people I dated between the ages of 11-13.
When I started highschool at 14 though, I actually started sleeping with people.
Guys and girls.
Thing was, I was always drunk, high, or both when with guys and half the time with girls.
I slept around A LOT.
I was very neutral to all sex when high or drunk, no matter who I was with.
i was only ever sober with some gorls and I enjoyed that and didn't even process that I had never been sober with a guy.
When exploring my own likes and interest through porn, dating sims, etc, I always found myself leaning more towards women but didn't fully connect.
I also, in highschool, found out about pansexuality and started identifying with that more so than with bisexuality.
So I was pan.
Around this time(16), I came out as trans and started identifying with he/him pronouns.
That confused me about my sexuality even more.
For a very short period of time, I identified as a straight trans man, but then I saw a pretty boy and when back to pan.
Eventually it changed again, I settled on demiromantic, pansexual, upon realizing that I was still very neutral to sex no matter what(I was still crossfaded 90% of the time) but that it was hard for me to properly connect emotionally to anyone until I got really used to them.(This was really mostly guys though. I wasn't with many girls at the time because I was getting physically assaulted for being queer and thought it'd be safer if I dated a lot of guys.)
It went that way for a long time.
Finally, at 23, after a death in my family, my stepdad, who had made it clear he didn't like my sexuality, gender identity, or religion, used that as an excuse to kick me out of the house.
I told my friends about this and some of them panic bought me a plane ticket to their state. So I moved halfway across the country and am living with them now.
Since I've been here, I've had room to explore myself and who I am without having overly scrutinizing eyes watching my every move.
I've realized that I am not a trans man and am actually genderqueer(It/They) and, after having sex for the first time SOBER with a guy and
not feeling neutral
in fact feeling disgusted and kinda sick afterwards
I decided maybe HE was just bad at it.
Despite him actually managing to pull out all the stops and make me cum twice.
Still grasping onto my heteronormativity like a lifeline.
Then another guy.
Great friend.
We date for a while.
Everytime he tries to do anything further than kissing and I actually feel sick.
I hook up with a girl I know as a one time thing.
It feels so right and amazing.
A wonderful experience.
Reminded me of the little flashes of enjoyment in the sober experiences with girls in highschool.
And I finally realized it.
I only like women.
I don't feel right using lesbian to define myself though.
As an afab enby individual, I feel uncomfortable pushing so much implied femininity into my label.
I know that there are a lot of enbys who identify as lesbians and that's fine. I'm happy they have a label that they are comfortable with. It just doesn't suit me, personally.
I did some research, looking up sexualities that define an individual who is not a woman or a man, who loves women.
i finally found it.
Donnasexual
An unaligned nonbinary person who is attracted to exclusively women.

I'm a genderfluid, pansexual trans man who also identifies as a woman and as various kinds of nonbinary, and the effect is that my relationship to attraction is multifaceted /on my end/
When I like a woman, for example, it can either be as a man, as a woman, or as one of my distinct flavors of unaligned enby identity. This changes depending on the relationship and the person but tends to be consistent within the same relationship.
The way I experience dating a woman as a man and the way I experience dating a woman as a woman are two absolutely distinct experiences and yet also /both/ absolutely queer. This also goes for the opposite, dating a man as a woman is as queer as dating a man as a man.
Even though the way I relate to different members of my polycule transforms, the whole of my identity is that I am a genderfluid trans man. My relationships will never follow the standards set by heteronormativity and they are all inherently, beautifully queer by being different expressions of the same person's love and identity.
i find it really funny that im a girl now but whenever im into a guy i still think "fuuuuuuuuuck dude im fucking gayyyyyyyyyyyy" internally. like actually that's the completely expected response. not gay at all. or so i thought. as it turns out its still gay as fuck to be into dudes as a transgender woman

Could I request some more flags :O?
A romantic varient to nomasexual (nomaromantic) and trixensexual (trixenromantic) please!
Hope you're well!! And thank you :)
Various Romantic Flags!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nomaromantic (also known as nobroromantic) is the attraction to all genders except binary men. Genders attracted to includes women, non-binary individuals, masculine aligned non-binary individuals, feminine aligned non-binary individuals, unaligned non-binary individuals, agender individuals, etc. The term was made with non-binary individuals in mind but binary individuals can use it.
Nowomaromantic (also known as nogalromantic) is the attraction to all genders except for binary women. Genders attracted to includes men, nonbinary people, masculine-aligned non-binary people, feminine-aligned non-binary people, unaligned non-binary people, agender people, etc. The term was made with non-binary people in mind but binary people can use it.
Trixenromantic or Trixenamoric refers to the exclusive attraction to women and nonbinary individuals. It could be considered a form of polysexual or bisexual. It mixes "trix" as in trixic, and "en" as in enby.
Torenromantic or Torenamoric is the exclusive attraction to men and nonbinary individuals. It could be considered a form of polysexual or bisexual. It mixes "tor" as in toric, and "en" as in enby.
I always gotta make the masc versions too or my autistic brain says it's not complete
Also tbh I find it kinda funny how we're like the same but on opposite sides of the same coin
