Mostly, I think! Things over here on tumblr are mostly under control, I have a couple of drafts and an ask to get to but otherwise I’m caught up and ready to share more IC memes.

Where I’m floundering is with my real life job, which has me working all hours of the day and night. Especially since the pandemic started, having full days off is a distant memory nowadays. I work from home full-time since lockdown and hardly ever leave, so I can’t wait until quarantine is eventually lifted and I can take as much leave time as I can get. But really, the solution is advancing in my career to somewhere with better pay and better work/life balance. I know I’m a very valuable asset to my company, but it’s now at the expense of my health in some areas.

I really miss traveling, cosplay, and conventions. And I’m worried about a pair of friends’ wedding in April: I’m in the wedding party and am expected to go, but I’m concerned not everyone will have vaccines by then and we have immuno-compromised people in the wedding party and attending the wedding. The pair getting married will not budge on their wedding date and expectations, and I’m concerned friendships will be at stake. I’m lucky that I’m not even planning to have a wedding of my own, just signing papers at city hall, so I don’t have to deal with the finances and planning of it all.
