a beat of silence passes as she contemplates,  weighing against each other the pros and cons to  admitting her feelings.  certainly,  she has no particular desire to  hide  from miu,  but maki has always been hesitant to admit weakness and express herself  (  she likely always  will  be.  )    ❝    … not really.  it’s been a bad day.    ❞

iruma doesn’t speak for a moment, unsure of how to really...handle this situation. maki and iruma are polar opposites, in a way--iruma is loud, boisterous in personality. maki is much more quiet, but in a way that doesn’t lose presence. and iruma won’t stop being who she is, but she doesn’t want to hurt maki. it’s a weird feeling. it’s one she’s not familiar with.
