The approach worked more quickly than existing techniques to eliminate clots formed in an in vitro model of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST), according to a new study.

“Our previous work looked at various techniques that use ultrasound to eliminate blood clots using what are essentially forward-facing waves,” says Xiaoning Jiang, co-corresponding author of the paper in the journal Research. “Our new work uses vortex ultrasound, where the ultrasound waves have a helical wavefront.

“In other words, the ultrasound is swirling as it moves forward,” says Jiang, professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering at North Carolina State University. “Based on our in vitro testing, this approach eliminates blood clots more quickly than existing techniques, largely because of the shear stress induced by the vortex wave.”

X-Ray Computed Tomography (CT), sometimes referred to as Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT), is a diagnostic tool which produces images representative of slices of the body, allowing the radiologist and physicians to view cross sections and get a more accurate view of structures within the body.

Ultrasound imaging (sonography) uses high-frequency sound waves to view inside the body. The ultrasound image is produced by the reflection of the waves off of the body structures.

X-ray is the name of the procedure as well as the name of the beams that are sent through the body.

Chapter 1

One day on StarRanch.Clary was painting a photo of her favorite horse Star.Jace walked in and says we are going to put your painting in a room so we all can see them. The ones that you do. Awe Jace that is a good idea. I love idea too

Clary walked out of the art room. And head to the barn to see the horses. Than she goes to see Jace. She said hey Jace whats up? Well babe been in the okffice working with people. We have great news? What is that babe asked. I have been working with alot of riders, that we have great with bills. That so great babe. Im going back to the house and make dinner. Okay I will be at house soon as I. Love you babe and kiss. i kiss him back . I walked in the kitchen and start to cook. Jace walked in and sit down at the table. While Clary was making them a plate. Clary looked at Jace and asked when should we we have a baby? Well Sweethearrt. We can when even you want. YAY!!!

Can we try tonight? Yes we can my love. Jace said with a smile. Clary did not know that she was about to start.

But few days when by and she was feeling down for some reason so. The next Clary got a pregnancy test. She taken and she was so happy that she told Jace that she was having a baby soon. They we're both happy. They had sex that night. The next morning Clary got a notebook and started to write down names. Clary and Jace thought that Jocelyn Celine Herondale was a great idea for a name. So they both liked it and agreed with it. Clary was so happy with it. Clary was so happy with it. Jace started to cry because he always wanted to be a father. And that he cant wait. So he picks a room for the baby and gets started by painting the walls. He paints the baby room sky blue with sunflowers and butterflies. He says to himself I hope clary and our the princess Jocelyn loves her room. While Jace was painting the walls of little Jocelyn room. Clary was painting a photo of a horse with  butterflies and a sunflowers in a beautiful screen.

Clary walked in to the baby room and smiled as she puts a painting of Star on the wall for the baby. And Say i cant wait babe. I know babe the same. Go to our room and reading a book and looking up to jace and say what would you like to her to looking like?

Well Clary I hope she has red hair and blue eyes. Red hair from you and blue eyes from me . Awe babe that sounds beautiful and I hope Jocyln will look that babe. But we have to wait 9 months to find out. Clary looks at him and smiled. Later that nite Clary go up and when to the bathroom and throw up. Jace walked by the bathroom and seen her throwing up and he helps by holding her hair. He said that babe this will be over soon. I hope So Jace Clary said. May I have some 7up please to see if that helps with the throwing up. Yes babe I will.

Jace heads to the kitchen and getting her a cup of 7up and takes it to her bed side bed. Clary says I love you so much. Jace looks at her and says I love you too Clary.

The next day Clary got her art bag and chair. when to the barn and drawing Jazmine and her mother Star for the baby room. But Jace keeps his eye on her alot no since Clary get pregant.

I look at him and say Im fine babe. I know Clary. Jace gets a phone call from Isabella and says please get Kitana ready i will be there in five or so. Jace hangup with Isabella and gets Kitana ready for her to ride.But Jace seen Clary was heading to the house with her art bag and chair so he keep his eye on her until she got to the front porch. Than he smiled at her as he goes back to the barn and get Kitana ready. Clary watchs Jace as he dose his listens with Isabella. She walks to the kitchen and got lunch ready. But Clary gets a phone call from her mother Raelynn and father Cameron to tell her that they will be taking her to her frist doctor appointment. Clary Says thanks mom and dad because I know that Jace will be busy with riders. Clary gets off the phone with her parents and than she gets a bag ready for tomorrow for the appiontment with her baby doctor so she can get on pills for the pregancy. Clary is to happy.

Jace walks in to other room says you ready to make lunch my love? Yes just let put Kitana in barn. Awe babe you wanted to check on me did you? Yes I did babe. Awe babe your sweet. Clary walking down stairs to the kitchen. And sit down and cut up things for salads for us to eat. looking up and smiled and say everything is cut up babe. Jace looks back at her and say chicken is almost done and it smells great. Yes it dose babe. What kind did you make babe? well Clary Id made honey chicken. I love honey and thanks babe for thinking of the baby.

Jace gets the chiken done and putting it in bowl and than Jace puts the bowl on the table.Also get us a bowls.Awe babe your so sweet. "Babe you need to take it easy with this pregnacy we have to make sure that we do everything we can to make sure this baby is happy and healhy." Jace says as he smiles at her as he sits down at the kitchen table. "dinner looks amazing Clary, thank you!" Jace said as he picked up his fork and started eating. Clary looked down at the floor as if she was depressed for some reason. "Everything okay honey?" Jace said with a concerned look on his face. Clary looked up at Jace with a sad look on her face. "Yes I am fine, just need a moment to take this all in."

" I thought you was happy about us having a baby?" Jace said as his smile turned into a frown. "No No I am very happy that we are getting this chance to be parents. I just feel like there is a lot of pressure on us all at once.

The next day Clary when to the doctor.To see what they were having. So the doctor camein with the ulrasound machine and a nurse to help. Clary laydown on the hospital bed to let them check. They told her that she is having a baby girl. Clary started to cry and asked? When will I have her She asked the nusre and the doctor? They both look at her and said that she is 5 months now,so in 4 more months you will have her Clary.

A few mintes when by. She drives home happy with the news. clary says to her self, "how can I tell Jace that we will having a little princess on the way." And that we need great name for her.

She gets out of her truck with a big smile on her face. She walks to Jace's office. She knocks on his door and say may I have a word with you babe? Babe you do not have to ask me that. You can  come in at any time to talk to me.

Looking at him and say we are having a girl. Jace looked up at her and smiled.  Said we are having a princess. But Clary what are we going to name her.

  How bout Jocelyn Cline Herondale. I love it babe and say she will be named after ours mother's. She smiles and go back to house. Clary wait babe I'm almost done with work and I will make dinner. Okay babe I would love that.

The next morning Taishiro was helping Tensei getting ready for his Ulrasound appointment to determin if his Alpha mate was actually pregnan. The Commender Alpha has a bad bout of of morning sickness so the car ride to the doctors office was not going to be fun for Tomoko and Taishiro.
