I remember when I had my first blog in 2003, I had a lot of good friends who didn't mind me having the weirdest special interest I've ever had. Only random strangers were rude about it, like someone on an autism forum who would reply to me on every thing I posted about how they hated my profile pic. It wasn't breaking any rules. They just hated it. Same as the (now former) admin of an Animal Crossing forum. I can talk about that forum another time. It sure was an experience.

My friends even got into that special interest. I wanted the whole world to know about it, so I would tell everyone about it, both online and offline. I was also more outgoing then than I am now. I would sometimes just start singing the Sephiroth boss battle music from FF7 and also random anime songs on the school bus.

This is another song from those days. This is one I had playing on my blog. I still remember how the layout of it looked at the time. Light green background, images of Dragonzord from Power Rangers and Ukyo Tachibana from Samurai Shodown together.

Chapter 212 Trivia (Part 1)

The 8 years is an error that Inagaki Sensei has already corrected here, so don't worry, your timeline of events is fine!

Jasper, Turquoise, Mirai and Oarashi are all petrified here but none of them have been shown revived yet. Have they been woken up? Also why is Oarashi's helmet petrified??

Could they be keeping Mirai petrified for longer, until her brother returns for his space mission? Or maybe until he comes back from that?

But seriously, what a downgrade on the kabob! The metal skewer is pretty nice, but what happened to those huge slabs of meat!

The photo manipulation in this image is pretty nice, but the trucks and tent in the background are jarring compared to what the mobile lab looks like. Ukyo also looks like he's trying to wave you over and hand you a "gift" because of how he's hiding his other hand behind him...

The people of the Tsukasa Empire take after their parents, since they're all rather muscular. I'm not sure exactly, but one of the kids may have been following the KoS for a while. The other, despite the mention, isn't the same one because the father looks different.

This special mission was mentioned in the extras of volume 18, published (in Japanese) almost a full year ago!

We knew Ruri was a strong person constitutionally, but it looks like she's also strong physically! The sulfa-drug and petrification really healed her up to her full potential.

I wonder who would win in a bout now, Ruri or Magma…

Chrome's birthday is in February, which would have been right before the second major petrification. Ruri's is in April, and she's 2 years older. It's been a little less than 2 years since Chrome got depetrified, so they're around the same age now.

Ruri also noticed Chrome get older, but not Suika? Maybe she didn't recognize her? 🤔

Gen can barely contain himself at this reunion, and apart from the "A d-dam?!" comment, everything he says from here on is about Chalk and Sagara.

The baby boars here look like a bunch of watermelons thanks to their stripes. They obviously take after Suika!

Dogs can have babies their whole lives, but it's riskier the older they are. For pigs, I couldn't find anything conclusive but they seem to still be fertile at 7 years old, so I think Chalk and Sagara decided to build the wall to protect their old family, then made new families.

This fisherman caught a giant bluefin tuna and is flying a tairyō-bata, or fisherman's flag. These flags are flown by boats returning to port to show they've caught a tons of fish. Tairyō-bata translates to "big catch flag", and can also be decorative or used at festivals.

Francois' nigiri sushi making setup is based on true sushi chefs' layouts, except for the lack of a visible water dish to ensure the rice doesn't stick to their hand. The rolling motion they're using to compress it also seems to be a stylized version of true techniques.

Kohaku seems to be turning into a very large blueberry after all that sushi.

How often do the characters wash their clothes, it's understandable for them to not have that many clothes in their wardrobe besides their regular and winter clothes but you'd think they'd switch it up sometimes

Why did Suika not grow any taller until the time-skip? Like, at least 2 years had passed when they reached America, she was like 9 at her first appearance, why didn't she necessarily age?

I forgot which chapter this was, but it was like a chart of who can sing and Ukyo was up there, what would he sing? I WANNA HEAR HIM SING!

(small) Headcanon, Senku can totally sing, like natural talent. Imagine him humming to himself and kicking his feet into the air as he lays his stomach, sketching out a roadmap to making something.

Imagine there's some animal that like has adapted to get some strange trait over the thousands of years and the villagers are like "yeah that's normal, you didn't know that?" and modern timers are just freaked out.

I think it says in Francois wiki or something that they only sleep/rest when no one's looking, so do they just like rest in an extremely isolated area or know exactly when to wake up before everyone else?

Idc what Francois' gender is, they're valid whatever they are, but I need A LAST NAME? LIKE ITS JUST FRANCOIS, WHAT IS YOUR FULL NAME BESTIE? I don't want to always refer to them as Francois the Butler, they're so much more than that.

AU Ideas #8 Outlaw Ranma Star 1/2 (Ranma 1/2 Outlaw Stars Crossover)

So here's the basic layout for this AU:

After the battle with Saffron at Ho'o Peak and the Wedding Disaster, Ranma and Akane have decide to go on a date together to a nice place somewhere far from the prying eyes of the other fiancées, since they figure that, despite finding the hints of each other's feelings, they knew their current relationship with each other was currently going nowhere due to the problems caused by the flaws of their personalities and the problems that are caused by said fiancées. Everything was going so-far so good... until Akane has said something stupid that hurt Ranma's feelings. Feeling rejected by the thought that Akane will be never be able to admit her true feeling due to the current predicament that they were in and feeling like he was just chasing a dream that would never come true, Ranma ran out of the restaurant that they were in and fled into the raining storm outside of the place they were dating in as she jumped rooftops to rooftops, deciding that its time for her to leave Furinkan. When Nabiki and Ukyo (who were secretly following them on their date) pointed it out to her of what he was trying to do and what she have just said, Akane immediately left the restaurant to chase after Ranma in order to apologized to her and clean up the mess of what she said, but she has difficultly of catching to her due to her jumping from rooftops to rooftops. However, all before it ended when Ranma got into an accident when she was hit by a incoming truck driving down the road due to the poor visibility of the rain, putting him/her into a coma... (I got the idea from reading the Gundam Otaku Girl manga)

Skipping an uncertain long amount of time (I don't know how long really, like in between a few centuries to a few millennia) later, the crew of the Outlaw Star (after an uncertain amount of time after the events of their search for the Galactic Keyline and their adventures in it, like between a month to a few years, but my best guess is just between a few months and a year after it) were currently looking for a few items that are called the "Hidden Treasures of Hot Ice Hilda", after hearing rumors of Hot Ice Hilda hidden those items long before her death. Currently, they have two of the three items in their hands, a memory card that were to hold about a petabyte of information on it each and a digital videotape, after they've manage to find it at the Blue Heaven, before they were able to track down the third and last piece of the hidden treasure to Terra (formly Earth), in the same system where Hilda have hidden the Outlaw Star before after she stole it. Once it was decide Gene, Jim, Melfina would go down to Terra while Suzuka and Aisha would still behind to guard the Outlaw Star, the three went down to Terra, to go down below to Furinkan, now a bottom-floor community full of slums that are filled with a mixed of violent gangs, many types of black market dealers, tech and magical hustlers, various groups of criminals, murderers, illegal braindance slingers, and multiple kinds of immigrants (whether they are either humans or aliens) who are forced to live here, are now living in the community, in-between the sex and pop culture that are mixed with violent crimes and extreme poverty. When they have located and gotten to a small warehouse where the final piece of the treasure was at, which is exactly where the Tendo Dojo have once stood, before they enter the small warehouse. This is where they have discovered a replicating-designed 3D printing machine and a TV equipped with a VCR in inside of the warehouse. When they turned on the TV and put the videotape in, it showed the recording of Hilda before her death before she spoke, speaking to whoever who found it did a good job of who are able to find the place and items needed for the machines, before she then begin to explain: She reveal that she was born in Furinkan on Terra years ago and she was the sole-known descendant of a person named Kasumi Tendo, revealing that she and her ancestors were guarding the memory cards while they were gathering the necessary parts for the machine for generations with Hilda being the current one (before her death that is), revealing that she have lived for a long time despite looking like she's 21. The recorded version of Hilda then reveal the purpose for the machine was to recreate someone who was put into a coma and death in order to revival him or her and the copy of their DNA was stored inside the memory card itself, along with the copy of creating a video cassette tape that was stored in it as well, in order to recreated this person in question.

Wanting to honor Hilda's memories, Gene decide to activated the machine and put the memory card into it. Once he did that, the machine begin the process and it work on for a while until it was done and the hatch pop open, which the person in question was reveal to be none other than Ranma himself, albert naked due to DNA reason. All before he step out and the machine closed again before recreating the video cassette tape.

When Ranma woke up after being recreated, he was confused who the people are in front of him or of where he is exactly and wonder what have happen, as he could remember what before. When the three explain to him of who they are and where he is, the memories of what happen finally came rushing back into his head and he realized that he was in the future. After putting the tape into the VHS and watched the recording of an aged Akane who explain of what happen to him before she told that she love him no matter what or how long it is, his mind became devastated by sadness and whacked with sorrow when he realized that he all but now knew his family and friends are long gone for good now, including his fiancée Akane. Seeing that he has no where else to go now, the three decide to invited Ranma to join their crew, which he agreed to since he has nothing for him now.

Now watch the crew of the Outlaw Star, Ranma included, journeying through the stars of the known galaxy and going on various kind of adventures that are filled with such an amount of tragicomedy that only Red Vs Blue could only match it due to the chaos that follow Ranma around wherever he goes, as all of the Outlaw Star crew are riding the rollercoaster of both comedies and tragedies moments that is filed with that is called Life...

I got the idea from triviatrap1982's "Outlaw One Half" and decide to do my own take on my Ranma 1/2 X Outlaw Star Crossover, but I want it to be accurate as possible.

Chapter 200 Trivia (Part 2)

Xenobucks is a parody of Starbucks, and what they're drinking is definitely coffee. Brazil produces about a third of the world's total coffee coffee, and is a significant industry across most of South America.

Team 1 is Xeno, Maya, Tsukasa, Matsukaze and Ginro. Xeno is needed to lead it, and Maya staying probably means the rest of the Americans are too. Tsukasa, Matsukaze and Ginro are likely there to ensure Xeno doesn't do anything too evil.

Matsukaze's scar is also gone!

Team 2 is Taiju, Hyoga, Ukyo, Luna, Carlos and Max. Luna's presence may mean that Senku expects they'll need medical help, while Taiju will finally get to reunite with Yuzuriha and become the farmer king again.

Hyoga will probably be the main hunter on the journey as we've seen him do these last few chapters, then will stay with Homura and Moz.

Max and Carlos are there because Luna is.

Ukyo is interesting as he's the only Wise General not with the main group. My theories are he's there to captain the boat for the journey (if they use one) and to ensure better American-Japanese communication to set up the city.

The main group is Senku, Gen, Kaseki, Ryusui, Francois, Chelsea, Suika, Kohaku and Chrome. Most choices I think are fairly obviously done, but the most important ones will be Chelsea once they reach land, and Francois if they decide to journey to a French-speaking country.

Kohaku is the only major fighter with team 1, but we don't know if Suika's learnt new skills whilst surviving in one of the most deadly places on Earth…

The layout on the deck of the new Perseus is very similar to the old one, but the sail has been replaced with the biogas fuel plant. The large containers are probably the digesters, storage, and the tanks for the Fischer-Tropsch process.

The paint at the front seems to be mimicking petrification scars, but the design itself is quite generic. It could be Ryusui's as from certain angles they have the same zig-zag shape, but I'm not sure.

If they add more lines it might be effective as dazzle camouflage.

20 knots is the average speed of a modern cruise ship, but those tend to have a higher horsepower (~50k), meaning this ship isn't on the same scale yet.

Chrome's been collecting rocks his whole life and no one really understood the importance of it until Senku came along…

Do you think Xeno gets confused by the fact that his name is probably written on the cup in a traditional Starbucks way, but it's also the name of the "brand"?
