So I had a vision.

I've drawn so much Cassunzel art that it honestly wasn't hard for me to draw them here, but this was my first time drawing Eugene, so bear with me.

I kinda sorta ship the poly, but I'm more of a Cassunzel shipper than anything else. Although I was, in fact, laughing my ass off while drawing this shit.

Rapunzel is very queer to me but in the neurodivergent and sheltered kid way of not knowing being queer is a thing for the longest time.

She was so isolated for most of her life, only outside information being books Gothel gave her and what Gothel told her when fearmongering. So considering she genuinely believed the thing about men being monsters with fangs and such, it makes sense she wouldn't fantasize about being in a relationship with a man, or really anyone for that matter considering Gothel sure as hell wouldn't talk about that with her other than like, very surface level. Hell, for aforementioned reasons she probably never even thought of men in that context until meeting Eugene.

But I feel like she would have the 'wow this lady in the illustration in book is really pretty!' (<- in the baby gay way) and then more and more of that until it was like genuine attraction when she was free and actually interacting with people, she'd have the 'what do you mean it's not considered normal to find women equally as appealing as men' and also the 'I'm a girl and comfortable with that but totally wouldn't mind/am neutral to they/them' <- no knowledge of pronouns outside of the context of grammar.

Anyways she's queer and also probably autistic. Do you see the vision.

I truly do not understand the shipping wars between New Dream, Cassunzel, and Uknighted Dream. Because at the end of the day they’re all about one thing-

Been a big uknighted dream stan since like FOREVER (I’m having my bi-monthly tangled obsession resurge again) so have some young cass and eugene after a chase

In my perfect tangled world eugene and cass meet briefly as young teens/ around 11 -13 and have a brief adventure together ( they lowk have fat crushes on each other- it ends HORRIBLY) and is why they have so much beef at the start of s1. I was thinking it could have been the reason cass’s father doesn’t trust her to become part of the guard type thing.
