Israel’s PR team working 24/7 to do the impossible. Give it up boys, you can just go ahead and say you’re going to commit genocide and every war crime in the book, it’s not like the west will lift a finger to stop it, matter of fact it’ll lift many fingers to fund it.

TW - discussion of War and violence, genocide, etc.
I have been noticing a lot of far-right ideology being cloaked in progressive language lately. I've noticed this even and especially among some people who have a large audience, which is especially disappointing.
Some red flags :
🚩 - using the Holocaust as a rhetorical strategy against Jewish people.
🚩 - using an ethnicity or race as the basis of a political position (ex. Only people of x ethnicity should live in y country).
🚩 - minimizing the scope and impact of the Holocaust, Nazi Aggression, the Holodomor, the Bosnian, Armenian, Uigher or other genocides, being unwilling to acknowledge the Farhud, or any pogrom of Jews or Romani people.
🚩 - being skeptical of the importance of Ukrainian success in the Russo-Ukrainian War, or denying the reality of Ukrainian sovereignty, or the reality of the ethnic cleansing they've historically (and currently) experience(d) at the hands of authoritarianism in Russia.
🚩 - using misogyny against women they disagree with (even conservative ones). Same for racism or any other prejudice.
🚩 - advocating for violence against people or groups they disagree with.
🚩 - promoting color revolution theory
🚩- chronic "US bad" takes. Yes, the US has done awful things, and that should be talked about, but we're not wrong in every situation. Iran's Islamic Regime is awful and disgusting. The North Korean, Chinese, and Russian governments are also awful.
🚩 - equating the actions and beliefs of governments with that of the population itself.
These are just some examples. Feel free to come up with your own. Remember, just because a source looks progressive, doesn't mean it is. Think critically. Don't be a pseudo-progressive.

I’ve seen a few bits of media in the “why are millennials so depressed right now” genre that list as one of the things “watching a genocide happening live” (sometimes including “US-sponsored”). Which, y’know, sure, but I guess y’all aren’t bothered by Ukraine, the Rohingya, Yemen (also “US-sponsored”, if Gaza is US-sponsored) the Uighers, etc!
Do you think they mean the White Genocide? Or how abortion is a Black Genocide?
One of the things most revolting about media leftists is the unexamined, un-self-aware way that they presume their languages and definitions are perfectly normative, that no points need ever be contested, that they won the argument just by showing up.
John Oliver is a good example of this. He spent years downloading his talking points into ignorant goyische college freshmen everywhere, and then the week before the election when he saw that the monster he created was likely going to cost them Michigan, he tried to make them not-do the only thing that was logical to do based off the information he had been giving them all along. Why should they stop, exactly, unless he was admitting that he had taken the gamified social contagion a bit too far? And even in his ask he was still dumping in more programming - that Israel's actions were "obviously indefensible." Gosh, if it's so obvious, I guess nobody is doing it and the war is already over.

Harris could have chosen to win but she simply chose to lose. It's not hard to beat Trump, it's comically easy, actually. You can convince yourself that it wasn't her choice to lose, but the fact of the matter is that she deliberately lost voters in key swing states. Trump's vote amounts remained mostly the same. Harris lost 10-15 million votes from Biden. Black women voted for her in less amounts than they did Biden or Hillary.
Had she not done genocide, she would've won. No matter how much you try and convince yourself otherwise. Now you have Trump. You can learn from this or just give up and die i guess.
This will be the last time I address you, because I worry for your immaturity and obvious chronic online addiction that has you repeating far-right talking points, Zionist misinformation and overall anti-democratic propaganda.
Both Israel, Trump and Russia relied on people like you and of course, Trump’s base to win. If you went on right-wing media, they celebrated folks like you because they knew your base was a key to their victory. They worked hard to tie Harris to Biden so all you saw was a Biden doppelganger, ready to move your own hatred of Biden onto her, just like they did.
As much as you like to make fun of the Nazis, MAGA and fascists for being uninformed idiots, you have joined their ranks. You act as if Harris herself sat in Israel smashing buttons for long-range missiles. When in reality, the Vice President has absolutely no say and no power to do anything, diplomatically or within our own government. Her only job is to be a back-up in case the president dies and a tie-breaker for the Senate. You might as well call your state governor a genocidal maniac for not stopping Israel.
Where are your protests against Netanyahu? Where is your rage at AIPAC? How come you aren’t storming Israeli consulates to tell them to stop? How come you aren’t holding your Congressmen accountable? Where’s your ire against Europe and Canada, the rest of our allies that also fund this?
You show your ass with how uninformed you are with our government. The presidential seat has no bearing on whether or not we send arms to Israel. It’s not within his constitutional right as the head of the executive branch. If it was, we’d have a dictator. It falls under the purview of Congress. Only Congress can pass bills and allocate government money. Did you watch and read how conservatives in both chambers drafted, voted on and approved of the arms to Israel? Where they essentially blackmailed and withheld funding our government if we didn’t approve of more weapons to Israel? Of course not. You just ate up the Big Bad Biden nonsense that spewed from the right. Ate it up like the best feast to whatever problem you have going on in your life to focus your anger toward.
I always wondered about this. If you’re old enough, how come you didn’t care about Palestine during Trump’s or Obama’s term when they were also getting bombed? How come other genocides aren’t worth your ire such as the Yemeni, Uighers or countless ones happening in Africa?
We know why. Because this is performative. If it wasn’t, you’d have known Biden listened, changed his course and worked to try and get a cease-fire. Is still trying. If you have even an inkling of how even the world works, Biden can’t go to Israel, take over and stop them like some American anti-war takeover superhero. Like it or not, that dictator runs his country, not America. Unless Congress declares war on Israel as several groups have done so far, then the US can’t physically do anything beyond diplomatic relations.
Both Hamas and Israel have said no to peace negotiations multiple times since the war started. So what do you want Biden and the US to do? Snipe out Netanyahu in an assassination? Usurp control from Congress and take that power for himself like Hitler did so he can stop the arms, destroying a foundation of our government in the process? Bash Netanyahu over the head until he agrees to stop?
All I see from you folks on the far left and far right is a wish for more dictatorial control for the president or a belief he already has it, and a mirror image of a belief system from what I’ve witnessed both in leftist and right wing specific spaces. There is also a serious showcase of willful ignorance and lack of civic engagement on either side as well because they don’t want to critique their own beliefs and have to face the complexities of situations and events that aren’t black and white. And you’re anecdotal proof of that.

I personally find it very, very strange people chalk up American foreign policy wrt the PRC to Sinophobia. I preface the rest of this creed by stating that I believe there are racists in the government and especially on the right, BUT nonetheless that American competition or even outright hostility to China IS JUSTIFIED.
I begin with a story. When TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew was asked, as were Mark Zuckerberg and other tech CEOs, to testify in front of Congress, there was special scrutiny to TikTok’s treatment of content the CCP would find problematic. Chew, a Singaporean citizen educated in elite American universities, was asked a disappointingly naive line of questioning from Senator Tom Cotton.
Tiktok is owned by ByteDance, headquartered in Beijing and incorporated in the Cayman Islands (famously for scrupulous business). He was repeatedly asked if he had or any point had any relation to the Chinese Communist Party, to which he replied, facially bemused, “Senator, I’m Singaporean.”
This went viral. Online, people commented (somewhat accurately) on Cotton’s racist questions—for instance, asking if Chew was himself Chinese. However, this story seems to have undergone a game of telephone. In the midst of American discussions in Congress over whether TikTok should be banned conditional on being owned by a Chinese company, some TikTokers, aside from blaming the American Israeli lobby for (in my strong opinion) short-sighted and misguided reasons, blamed this on Congressmen “mistakenly” taking TikTok for a Chinese enterprise when it “is Singaporean, Senator.”
This is insanity. I wish to remind readers of TikTok’s empirical bias towards CCP-aligned content; of its promotion of denial of Chinese genocide and violence against the Uigher Muslims, Tibetans, and other Hui; of its tendency to promote anti-American and otherwise anti-social content; and the strong, strong incentive the PRC has (and the great example it has in Russia’s well-documented manipulation of media) to amplify messages that let the American public become complacent to its agenda to invade and destroy a democratic, sovereign nation (Taiwan).
This is no Sinophobia. Listen to your Chinese American peers (at least the ones not so drunk on racial resentiment they’ve begun supporting foreign authoritarians). China is NO MODEL for democracy, social equality, or liberal rights. It despises free expression outside its party mandate. It cracks down on artists too deviant, too *queer*, and too fluid for it to control. It actively bans Western influence and seeks to maintain a monopoly on public discourse. It abhors the notion of freedom. It hates especially that Asian neighbors have adopted liberal democratic agendas perfectly fine, contrary to its extremely racist argument that Eastern Peoples are not suited for democracy, which it claims is a Western concept for Western people. Hong Kong’s streets have never been the same. Do you wish for the bloody sights in Ukraine to be seen again in Taipei? What of the people of Japan, South Korea?
How is it that we’ve decided criticism of such a regime is comparable to criticism of Chinese descended people, who are of countless different faiths, nationalities, and political orientations? How dare my fellow Americans (white and or well off and or privileged) prostrate themselves to China in a disgusting attempt to cleanse themselves of their liberal guilt? (“I recognize I am a settler. I am White. I have sinned. I pray that my Evil home be defeated by these Orientals.”) How dare they turn a matter of geopolitics—because like it or not, our allies in Asia (billions of people) would prefer China not become an aspiring revanchist, toppling nations and conquering waters as it seeks now, and American attempts to contain it, to prevent it from meddling in elections or our market place of ideas are justified—into their social melodrama
You have *no* idea how much it hurts. The largest country in Asia rejects my existence (queer, ethnically Asian but American, etc.). It hates me. And you think that somehow, conceding to it will…what? Oh, it’s for The Cause. “It’s capitalism,” you argue. “It’s colonialism.” Oh yeah? What is TikTok?
Perhaps a rightist would say, “China is no saint.” I say, it is a long running empire built on conquest, bloodshed, repression, and inequality. Of course I hope China one day liberalizes. I hope its people are happy. But I cannot turn a blind eye to Americans who wish to forget its evils to smooth over their own. That is immature at best, diabolical at worst.
China loves for the diaspora to get angry. It loves for liberal and leftist White Americans to “empathize” and be “allies”, to “Stop Asian Hate.” It loathes genuine, factually-based analysis of its policies and of its treatment of its people. Support freedom for all people. Criticize inequalities and injustices at home all you want, but acknowledge there’s a reason why liberal democracy cannot be accepted across the Pacific—and not for a good reason.
This isn’t some ideological game. Wake up and put yourself in the shoes of the people who live on peninsulas and islands surrounded by waters that could one day be filled with hostile submarines ships ready to tear their freedoms away.

The Failed Hijacker
Joe Chang, a dreamer who had visions of himself as champion of the oppressed Uighers of Xinjiang, stared miserably at the wall of the cabin, deposited there by Malaysia Airlines stewardess Khadija Endor after she had prevented Joe’s half hearted attempt to storm the cockpit of the flight from Kuala Lumpur to Guangzhou. Joe had hoped to force the Beijing government to release imprisoned Uighers and end the cultural oppression of the minority people by seizing the Malaysian plane, but unfortunately for him, Khadija was having none of it. After easily disarming the unconvincing hijacker, the female flight attendant marched Joe to the rear of the plane single-handedly where she tied him up securely. Poor bound Joe tried to persuade the stewardess of the justice of his cause. “They are your muslim brothers and sisters!” he asserted to hijab-wearing young woman desperately. Khadija simply checked the man’s bonds and then replied a little impatiently: “Next time, sir, just sign a petition. It will save us all a lot of embarrassment!”

You know, I generally like tumblr's "based on your likes" algorithm. It does a decent job of showing me new stuff, stuff I like.
But the past couple days its been throwing stuff from the gross pro-CCP side of tumblr into my face. I'm talking vile shit; "Mao Zedong was one of the most brilliant and decent human beings to ever live." "There is no genocide of the Uighers, that's western propaganda and anyway they're not a real ethnicity and anyway they're capitalist stooges anyhow." "We should nuke Taipei, put the capitalists in their place." "The Cultural Revolution didn't go nearly far enough."
You know, truly monstrous, pro-tyranny stuff.
Like, what the hell, tumblr? I understand why you serve me stuff from pro-Russian stooges; I keep poking their hornets nest and engaging with them. But this China stuff is new and weird and I don't know why; it isn't like I interact with Chinese politics posts a lot or at all. I'm going to have to do some curation of my feed.
(I will say its amusing to see some of these fucks re-purpose capitalist arguments to suit their own needs.)

it's a genocide, not a war. The same situation is happening to the Armenians (A-FUCKING-GAIN!), the Uighers, in the Congo, and a few other places RIGHT NOW. This MUST stop. We are humans. We need to start making our governments behave like humans.

Hundreds of thousands of people came out today in London to March for a Free Palestine. Hundreds of thousands of people disagreeing with the current government stance on the war. Don’t let the media fool you, people in the UK stand with Palestine.

Yall want to rip Jay B apart for having sensual photos in his work place, for creating a vibe in an area where he creates art as a grown man...but you'll excuse Jackson for denying a whole genocide? Like ok I see where your priorities lie. Take a good hard look in the mirror and get well soon. Kpop stans make me sick to my stomach, yall are some of the most toxic people I have ever had the displeasure of meeting.

one of the reasons that Taiwanese people don't want to be a part of China because the PRC is trying to assimilate all indigenous people. The tribes are largely Austronesians, who are dispersed amongst other places like New Zealand and the Philippines. At present the PRC wants to call all of those different tribes "mountain people"
I feel like I will have people try to tell me that this is 'fake news' like some weird internet-inverse of USA dick riders but China bans language education (Tibetan courses and blogs being blocked) and Uigher people (a muslim minority in China) are put into detention camps and their religious and cultural artifacts destroyed.
This is colonialism, this is genocide.
been seeing a lot of posts being ruthless to Taiwan and basically saying that the island should be absorbed by China despite all of the indigenous people who endured centuries of colonialism at the hands of other nations (including China) asking to be independent.

https://www.instagram.com/fluence.co/: Let’s dive into some things China would rather you not know. Birthrates in the far western region of China are plummeting. And no, it’s not because families decided to have less children. It’s because they were forced not to have the children, but whatever means necessary. These “necessary means” include forced abortions women did not choose and forced sterilization. It is heartbreaking. But the word needs to get out. So we created an entire IGTV episode on this and this post for the sole purpose of sharing this buried information. Please help us light this up by sharing in your stories or with friends.
