I'm in North Texas, so I did get a good chunk of the polar vortex - not as bad as the traumatic freeze a couple years back. Haven't lost power or anything and I'm warm so I can't complain. Work rescheduled our meetings since most of our clients are being hit by weather issues and we can't move forward with our tax forms until we receive requested info from the clients. 🤷

And most of my group has kids that are at home because of school closures, so they were playing outside with their kids

Y'all don't have NyQuil in the UK? What kind of medicine do you guys usually use for heavy duty sickness then?

And yay about the job! Are you still applying or just going through the interview processes and everything? This is my first full time job and first job out of college, so I'm not TOO removed from the process yet.

tbh idk what we use for sickness. my mum just makes us bundle up and stay in bed. but i will say with certainty that i nor anyone i know uses nyquil. i’m glad that you are warm and the power is working!! it’s awful when the power switches off. we don’t have an electric or gas bill, it’s all manual so when it switches off someone has to run to the shop and top up the meter. which irks me so bad, i’ve tried sm times to get the meter changed but my parents are weird.

i’m still applying!! literally as i type this, i have the job application on the other page. it is my bday soon and i would like to have some money before then lol. i’m so broke it’s insane.

do u have any job tips? i always do well with interviews, my issue is getting the interview in the first place. i feel like my resume is ass but idk what to put on it to make it well… not ass.
